Very little permissions. Do you know how many note apps have a ton of data and hardware permissions or privacy policy?? Paid for no adds, could be better, dev has many of the same apps in different colors/styles that cold be one app. 1☆ reviews are right though... too easy to accidently delete by swiping and there is seemingly no way to recover deleted notes/texts. Some other 'to do' and custom style lists but a bit of a hassle to type with the extra menus. Has pin lock for notes.. decent so far

It's a really good app, but if I want to work on a story on my laptop, I can't login or anything to retrieve the notes on my phone. This also really need an Auto Save, it's annoying to have to click yes for it to save changes, and the 'yes' and 'no' are so close together I sometimes hit no, so i loose all my work. It also needs a way to italicize and Bolden your letters, as well as shift your lettering. This app is good but if youre writing stories I don't really recommend it.

I only have one small issue, and thats [fonts] and a smaller font size. As a writer and enthusiastic journalist, fonts are always needed when noting. They dont need to be special fonts, just the normal Cursive Italic, Bold, Underline and such. I also want a smaller font option because i prefer having lots of information jumbled, but enough for me to see still. The small font limit is okay but i think we can go like 2× smaller than that and still have a good result. Overall, I love this app!

I love this app! It is a bare bones, clean slate notes. Having tried so many other note apps, this one is just right! No frills, or pastel pages finally. (it would be real cool to have a red option for the type.....). It saves your note even when you shut the app in a hurry, without you having to manually save your work at the end of each use. Devs, thanks for making this great app! I use it daily :)

Not perfect but simple and effective, which is what I look for in apps. I use this for brainstorming story ideas all the time, as well as other thoughts I don't want to forget. I enjoy that you can easily share your notes with other applications, such as discord and email which is crucial for me since I need these notes on my computer to actually work with later. Ads are minimal and only seem to be shown as thin ad bar at the top. They are not distracting.

The backup and restore features are great, and the need to double tap before editing a prompt or list helps out greatly. One thing that could make it better, is a scroller on the side of the screen, rather than scrolling for up to a minute to find where you left off. Or, when you finish and save what you already have, everything doesn't shoot upward, back to the very beginning. Another thing, maybe a mode to sync up notes between devices?

I fixed the auto-scroll to the bottom issue. I went into my settings (on a Galaxy S23 Ultra) and turned off the "Suggest stickers while typing" feature, and now it doesn't auto-scroll anymore. You can also try turning off the "predictive text" and "suggest emojis" settings, and try to narrow down exactly what it might be. Most of these settings were found under my "General management" and "keyboard" settings. Turn EVERYTHING off, and then narrow down the cause by turning them on, one at a time

I like the black but I also like the simplicity in the fact that there's no ads that bother me and there is a straightforward approach with either note or item list and it just displays it in a nice easy way . probably other features I enjoy but my voice to text is failing me so I'm not into that. try it out.

Lots to like. I love the black screen with the neon green fonts. Everything is well organized and easy to work with. The only issue I have is when I open it and want to enter notes for the day I have to scroll all the way down to get to a blank spot to do it It should allow you to automatically go to the end of the previous entry without all of the scrolling.

Been using this for a couple of years now. I absolutely love it and it's quite simple. Even with the ads it's only minimum and mostly sticks to the top. Now once in a blue moon there will be a pop-up ad but that's once in a blue moon. Super simple and easy to use. Recently bought the remove ads option because I, want to support the developers of this app.

I've used this app for years and I've always loved it. But recently, I switched phones from Samsung Galaxy S8 to a Samsung S23 FE & my BlackNote app switched over just fine. But, now I have a real problem when I'm trying to edit information in an existing note. The cursor stays where I am in the note, but the screen randomly scrolls by itself & jumps to the bottom of the note. This is infuriating, I would adjust this in settings if I could. I'm considering uninstalling the app for this reason.

Excellent. Everything including the widgets are perfect. I love how if you slash out a task it doesn't disappear. The Amount of task left on the widget. The UI of the app. Placement of favorite and to do list with a shopping list right next door. The ability to lock note, adjust font, and search within the note. Very light and snappy. Categories are simple. Packed with just the right features. Very simple. Perfect!

I personally think it's a great app if you're going for simplicity. There are a couple things that I don like about it. I wish that there was a "recently deleted" spot because I had a bunch of songs I had written and I accidently deleted the note thinking that it was a different note so I lost all my songs. I also wish that it wouldnt snap back up to the top every time I clicked the little "edit" button at the bottom when I'm finished writing.

I absolutely love this app, my favorite note app ever. But I hate how it doesn't have a backup feature. I just switched to a new phone, and I forgot to move all my notes to my discord so I could transfer them, and I have now lost *hours* of work. Songs, books, reminders and accounts. All of it. Lost. I'm incredibly upset that this app doesn't have a backup feature for notes.

Hey, I wanted to Say that I Recommend That you add a "Forget Password?" Feature because I locked myself out of the Note I was using. I can't get back in due to forgetting the password and Was typing to fast. I really hope you add a feature to unlock it without using the password. I hope you can reply or anything to help. It's a great app and everything. Just please add one. I don't want to rewrite the whole thing from memory. Thank you. (it's been a year since I could edit it.)

My favorite notepad, superior to all others. So easy to use and back up. My thanks to the developers. Just brilliant ! When i go shopping, BlackNote was brilliant, the lists I created can be reuse over and over. Check off with a touch. From to do list, groceries, priorities, even Money Management. Checklist before leaving work. Write note to self, record plan of actions. Versatile, stable, intuitive use, try it. No more 3x5 cards for me ever.

Great app! No ads! It doesn't get any better than that! UPDATE - April 2024 First, for the developer(s), I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra w/ 512 GB of storage. System auto-updates are enabled. My issue is that when I'm editing a note and I pause editing, the cursor ALWAYS goes straight to the end of the note! EVERY TIME! I HATE THAT "feature," and if it's NOT removed in an update, I WILL switch to a notes app that DOESN'T do that!

Super simple, easy to use, but very effective for those who don't really care about aesthetics very much and just want something basic, but that doesn't mean it's ugly or uncustomizable. Recent updates allow you to change color palettes, both light and dark. This app is perfect for anyone just wanting to jot down ideas, and there's a checklist for grocery shopping and errands, too. You can have favorites, limitless notes, limitless word count,... it's just very nice!

The app was perfect until the most recent update that decided to remove the to do list section. Now I need to download another app to do what this app used to be able to do. Very annoying and disappointing. .Update to respond to Dev response: "Create and use a checklist note" is not a solution, the whole reason the to do list/shopping list function was good was because of how quick and convenient it was to use. Now it's convenient to change the color of the app instead. Horrible change.

I've gotten so frustrated with accidentally brushing against the phone screen and having this app just immediately lose my work without warning. Who wants to try to reconstruct twenty or thirty minutes' worth of project notes that you've just done? It's the high-tech version of a catastrophic coffee spill. I've used the app for years, loved it, and now this is happening on almost a daily basis. Just a little touch in the wrong place, and it's all over.
