Loving the app with a few complaints. I'd like to see specific drills like are included in the membership since those don't work on mobile. Like being able to do running count where it plays for you or practice TC conversions ect. Also the shoe image and count screen cannot be expanded while on the betting screen. Also would be great to have multiple bankroll saves (to expirement with different bet spread) lastly it seems penetration is unchangeable and is set to half a deck which is unrealistic

Totally worth the $5. Visually there is a couple things I would like different. But that's minor. Smooth game play. Plus no ads. So much settings to find tune practice. Gonna become a full member soon, but wanted to say this is great (esp with the popup when you make a wrong move)

Great app to learn basic strategy and practice counting! I wish it was a little more clear to see which hand you're playing in the drill though. Sometimes the gestures don't register and I don't realize that its on the same hand causing me to lose my streak over a silly technicality.

This is an excellent app for learning how to count cards and reinforce your knowledge of BS. The only feature I wish it had is the ability to deal soft hands without blackjacks. I have trouble remebering BS for soft hands so I like to train with this feature as much as I can. It's kind of annoying when I get blackjacks constantly (probably the first time that's ever been written lol).

A really great app for learning! Lots of configuration options for learning individual strategies (hard hands, soft hands, splits). My only complaint is that I get a "strategy error" when I try to hit a hard 16 and the dealer has a 10-value up card (which is the correct move according to the in-app charts and every basic strategy chart I've seen)

This app is amazing! Buy it. There are a few bugs and quirks and some features I'd like to see added, but I still feel this is the best way to learn blackjack. I've gone from total beginner to having played thousands of hands, memorized the charts, learned perfect basic strategy, card counting at a medium pace, and 10+ deviations in just a week or two. All of this to say: this app is an amazing way to learn if you put in the time. I can't recommend it enough.

Update: Thanks for the response, exactly what I was looking for! Original: overall a good app that'll help you with counting and basic strategy. UI is great. Would recommend adding a mode to practice with specific card types like "Hard Totals", "Soft Totals", and "Pairs". I'm still learning basic strategy and those modes would help me focus on parts of the chart I'm still lacking skill on.

Pretty good Blackjack trainer app. I have a few suggestions. I'm just learning basic strategy right now, and it'd be nice if you could train for specific scenarios, like adding a filter for which hands you can receive (only hands with aces, no aces, only pairs, etc). Also, it'd be really nice if there was a way to peek at the charts without having to exit the drill. At the very least you should be able to peek at the charts immediately after you've made a mistake. Other than that, very good app.

So far I have found this to be the best blackjack app for learning. You can learn basic strategy, counting, true count/deck estimation, and deviations. I like that stops you when you make a mistake and let you go back or just continue. Animations are fine, no better or worse then all the other apps out there. What I wish that had sound effects, especially for dealing and shuffling. This app uses gestures or buttons for actions. I like the gestures, but the hit gesture is a bit wonky

This app is great for learning blackjack basic strategy, as well as deviations for use in advantage play. The app has a training drill mode, which is great, but has problems keeping track of your bankroll. I start at 10,000.00 and after only a couple of 10-dollar hands, the bankroll shows 822.00. Then after a few more hands, it may or may not show the correct amount. Some of the in-game menu buttons are unresponsive as well. All in all a good app. Just needs debugging.

Great tool for learning, worth the $5. One addition that would be cool is a timer that tracks table time for current bankroll and then calculate EV off that. Also being able to see charts without leaving table would be nice or if they just popped up with your mistake highlighted or something so you can see what count it changes for deviations

For $5 the features are lacking. I downloaded it yesterday and have barely used it because I have free versions of other competing apps that have more features. At least the graphics are decent and the discard deck is easy to see. Big issues in my opinion: No selection of what hands to practice specifically, and a clunky interface. Its slow to use this app and navigate around if you are wondering something about your strategy. In hindsight I really wish I could be refunded for my purchase.

This app's no better than most free practice apps. I suspect shenanigans with the betting feature; I was losing bank fast on high positive TCs & then started winning immediately with ridiculously high bets on walk-away negative TCs. I like the app's simplicity, though, & I trust the $5 will be worth future updates. I think the betting is rigged, but the app is good for practicing counting and basic strategy at the same time. Tip: hide the count & see how you did after the shoe. I was way off!

Decent for drilling. No visual feedback during/after gestures is confusing, and no feedback indicating active hand contributes to a cheap design feel. Twice I've acted on the wrong hand by mistake. Weird "one size fits all" approach to basic strategy - incorrectly suggests hitting 15vA in a H17 game instead of surrendering. Basic strategy should adapt to the game's rules - doing otherwise while preaching perfect practice is disingenuous and antithetical to beginning the journey towards AP.

Great app, but I have one recommendation. If the user could somehow choose specific deviations to focus on, that would be helpful in my opinion. Perhaps a new drill mode (Deviations only) could be added which only deals hands that deviate from basic strategy. If the user could also select which deviations are dealt in that drill, that would be terrific. For example, only H17 deviations 1-5, 1-10 etc. Other than that, the app is quick and efficient :)

Love this app! Just remember that it is a trainer/tutorial and NOT a game. Two minor points of feedback... - would be nice if you could set a specific bankroll, as opposed to only $10,000 - just recently the error free streak counter stopped working g for me. I have made a few errors, but the counter has not reset and I can't reset it manually. This is still a GREAT app!

First impressions, game is not very good at receiving intended moves. I almost always have to repeat a "stand" swipe 5 or 6 times before it is accepted. I try to go faster, slower, nothing really seems to help. So that's a drag. But I think these guys are giving good info so ill probably use their site for counting training and then use a different simulator to actually practice my skills

This app is good but it leaves a lot to be desired. When compared with the IOS version, the android version is definitely inferior. The maxis significantly slower than the iOS version. When turning betting off it still says won $0 when you win the hand. Just a lot of small things that add up. For a paid app it should be more fleshed out. Overall accomplished what it needs to. Really is a great app and the guy behind it is absolutely amazing!

great for learning basic strategy and card counting, and it is definitely worth the 5-6 bucks on the app store if you want to learn how to beat the casino @ blackjack. The card counting trainer is efficient and is easy to use, especially if you have only a few minutes to practice. The simulated blackjack games are also quite fun and educational as the simulator will tell you if a move you made is wrong based on basic strategy or based on the current count. It's better than most other BJ apps

Great tool but needs improvement. Cards look small and can't rotate screen to make bigger. Speed counting only allows dealer and 1 player, so can't get practice in for counting for multiple players. Needs training for true count conversion. Easier (for me) to learn playing with another person with actual cards. Still use this in my solo off time to help learn though.
