I had the same experience with logging into the app as others. The system would not recognize my password, even when I reset it multiple times. I even worked with a person through the Help Center. I'm deleting the app and going to Costco until this is fixed. UPDATE 2/15/24 app is fixed and appears to be working properly. It took several messages, but it works now.

Whatever updates have been done in the past 2 weeks have prevented me (and several other users based on the reviews)from being able to log into the app. It keeps indicating the credentials are wrong even though I can login to the website without issue. Your "tech support" department is telling me it will be 1 to 3 days before someone can get back to me regarding the issue. I have orders to pick up. This is so annoying. There is always a glitch with this stupid app.

This app continues to deliver one of the worst possible user experiences. Delivery orders default to in store pick up and requires going through item by item to change, a password change locks an account for an hour, adding an item to an order from within the app opens a browser and requires a new sign in. The list goes on. It is so frustrating. Costco does it better.

Previous issues: clipping coupons crashed the app no matter how many updated or reinstalls I did. Trying to do a quick checkout wasn't an option sometimes although I was in the store and had location permissions turned on Thanks Developer for responding, I did an uninstall although previously that didn't resolve the issue. Now coupons are back to working normal. The new updated actually worked!

I use the app to save time and the line at checkout but they scan so many of your items at the exit door that you might as well just use the register and you hold up the line! The people with a paper receipt just get a mark and they're out the door. Plus you have to enter the CVV of your saved credit card. If you don't have it with you then you can't check out with that card. What's the point of saving it? Sam's club makes it a breeze to use their scan and go app.

UPDATE; At least 3 app updates now, and they still haven't bothered to fix the vibration issue. UPDATE: Why didn't you fix the vibration problem with the update??? And I did email, and they were clueless and didn't even try to figure out what might be going on. Every time I clip a coupon, it makes my phone vibrate. Infuriating. Now I can't use the app anymore.

Express pay is a joke! App will not recognize that I am in the club. I have location on, including precise location and the app is getting my location but still will not recognize that I am in the club. I even connect to the club wifi and it still won't work. Employees in the club say a lot of people have the same problem. My wife's phone has the same issue. FIX THE APP please!

A month ago I would have given 5 stars but lately the app will not work, it"s completely frozen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing changes. I love that I don't have to bother with paper coupons so not clipping on the app or reviewing what was clipped is not cool. Not a happy camper.

I am very glad to update and say that since the issues have been fixed I am able to shop through the app.again. Thank you for fixing the issues. I useto give it 4-5 stars now its only getting 1 star. Lately the app has been glitching to much. When I try shopping it constantly refreshes and starts all over again. Checking out is almost impossible. It takes forever if at all so I get frustrated and don't bother. The website is no better. Page is unresponsive to the point I'll say forge

One of worst apps out there. You need to enter a zip code to find stores, when first installing the app, but it can't find any, even using their own store's zip code. This makes app unusable until it "finds" a store. Should you, by some miracle, get past that entry point ( reinstalling the app several times), there are constant sign-in problems, search feature returns error (try again later), in-store mode is slow, even using their wifi. I like the store, but the app is a disaster.

it appears the last update broke the app, now it won't recognize when I'm in the store. Still occurring as of 4/30/24. It shows that I'm in a BJ store but if I try to do the Express Scan it says I'm not in a BJ store. Have to reboot my phone to get it to work. Another issue with the app you can't enlarge pictures. When I'm trying to look at the drug information the print isn't large enough for me to see and I can't enlarge the picture when I click on it. Still love store, just not the app

For about 2 years now, I can not place a pick-up order through the app! I made sure it's updated, I deleted it for a little over a year, and it's still doing the same thing. Nothing works, and it's very frustrating. It seems to just be a problem for me. My husband and my mom do not have this problem with the app. And we are all on the same account. So that makes it more puzzling and more frustrating.

Great app! The item limit is dumb, but I get it. I would give it 5 stars because Ordinarily I love the app, it's well designed, saves me tons of time, and works well. However, whatever genius designed the recent update that makes you click a button that says "keep scanning" after every single item, slowing you down dramatically, should be fired and never allowed to design or work on an app again. Dumbest update I think I've ever seen in an app. EDIT: Developer replied...no change to app.

It keeps ommitting valid coupons at checkout. After happening so many times, over many iterations of the app, I can only figure that they are doing this on purpose. If you contact them, after a huge run around, you can get them taken off, but I'm guessing they are banking on people not noticing or not wanting to deal. DO BETTER! Also, you can use use Pay Pal on the site, but not on the app.

Good App Except for Express Pay. I like using this app. It works well. I like Express Pay when it works (the reason for 3 stars). You have to be in the club (makes since), but I always have to fight for it to recognize that I am in the club. I make sure the wifi is connected to BJ's wifi. I try it at all different locations in the club, but it still doesn't believe I'm in a club. After 10 or 12 attempts it may connect but half the time it doesn't.

Express Pay is a joke. I scan everything and pay and then the checkout person at the exit has to re-scan everything. Oh, but wait, if they have a problem scanning you can't pull up your barcode again. So you have to ping around because the associates aren't quite sure what to do except offer for you to pay separately. But I already did that in the app. Nothing about this experience was "express". Your response does not address my issue.

I like most things about this app. Some items listed have to be shipped rather than delivered or picked up (changes). There was a $8.99 flat rate no matter the amount of items. They've slightly modified it now. I noticed that I was being charged a lot more for some items and many items were damaged or missing. I've contacted them many times for my last refund and have never received it. Other Concerns: Delivery refunds are electronic gift cards only & cannot be used for delivery orders.

Like the clipped coupons but why does the UPC scan feature not go into the cart? It scans the item perfectly with my mobile phone but won't move the item into the cart. That would really cut down on the time it takes for me to put my list together for pick up but more importantly there are softener salts with red out that cannot be found using the search bar (or anywhere else) but will scan perfectly, just can't move it to my cart! Frustrating!!!

Much improved! Previously, on delivery orders the app would keep changing to in store pickup. That resolved with the update. Would give 5 stars if the search worked correctly. Searching for rice cakes took me to Crest Prohealth mouthwash. Tried 3x. Otherwise, navigates through the site more smoothly. Update: For the 2nd time recently I allowed substitutions on a delivery order and after I checked out it said substitutions disabled.

I joined BJ's less than a year ago, installed the App, and used it occassionally. It always showed the 'no internet' banner on the bottom of the screen despite the fact wifi access was enabled and working with other apps. Regardless, a out two months ago I notice the App would not function. After starting it would lock up and unresponsive to input. I've removed and re-installed twice in hopes to clear out a bad configuration. However, the App still does not work. Junk.
