What are the requirements for using UPI?
You should have following:
· An android phone with internet services
· An operative bank account
· The mobile number being registered with UPI, must be linked to the bank account.
· Active debit card relating to this account for creating UPIPIN.
How do I register in the BOI UPI application?
· Tap Send SMS to verify your mobile number. An SMS will be sent from your mobile for verification. The SMS should be sent from the mobile number registered with the bank accounts.
· After your mobile number is verified, the New Registration screen is displayed. Fill in the required details.
· Create four digits numeric password for logging in to application and confirm the same.

Getting Started
• Download the BHIM BOI UPI app from Google Play Store
• Select your preferred bank account
• Create a unique ID (for example – yourname@boi)
• Verify your account & set a UPI PIN
How to send money through UPI Payments?
• Select your & receiver’s unique ID
• Enter amount
• Confirm mobile payment by entering UPI PIN
How to ask for money through BOI UPI Payments?
• Select your & sender’s unique ID
• Enter amount
• Receive money when sender approves the money transfer on his app

Who ever the developers of these app are complete idiots. Won't even tested this enabled OTP features and login details. The user need to login with the OTP and every single time when OTP arrives the page directed to the messages and kick out of app . And this is absolutely repeating and will take 4hr again to reset. Absolutely bad and worst app experience.

Still unable to use. After proceeding by submitting mobile number, I get stuck on the next screen, it shows 'Loading' prompt and then something like 'Process timed out...'. I have been unable to complete the process because the 'Security Question' field does not show any valid option to select and proceed, only the default text "Select Security Question". Developers are NOT caring at all. Local branch of bank have surrendered as soon as I approached them.

ZERO STARS..... Worst experience ever! What is the use of such an app that repeatedly makes you verify the device by sending SMS to server when the server is (always) not responding? By the way, each SMS incurs a charge of Rs. 1.20. I had tried to get my device verified at least 10 times within a span of 5 days, but to no avail. Apps of all other banks work perfectly fine on the same device.

Worst service,It is not working on my phone because my Android is 9. And app showing it's only working in Android 10 and above.

Very bad expirence as compair to gpay app. No sound on payment receiving or sending money as like Bhim UPI. Most of time getting not working properly.

App is asking for phone with Android 10 to update, what to do if our phone is Android 8, it's holding on gun point to account holders, To day I had emergency, but I could not operate with updated application.

Terrible application. The SMS verification process never works. Looks like they have forgotten to pay for their server hosting. My nephew can make a better app than this.

Aadhar Enabled Payment System should be made available to individual students too who doesn't have any ATM/Debit/Credit Cards to make payment. Else to receive payment this is alright just can't send payment since I have no cards.

Very disappointing, DISGUSTING and worst apps. Tell your so called the DEVELOPERS to see the Ai1 CANARA bank apps, how it is users friendly and easy to use apps. Even after downloading, unable to use it All of your BOI apps are useless . RATING : ZERO RATING.

Earlier review: Why doesn't the "Share" or "Download" buttons work after a UPI Transaction is shown completed? Why does the "Registration" has to be redone again and again every week? 15May2024: Unable to open the App. Tried uninstall and reinstall. Didn't help!

After sending the SMS verification for the straight 5 times , i couldn't login or even able to start the app. Using the app is a very far away thing, totally the worst worst application

I purchased a new mobile and not able to initially set the UPI Id as nor the app nor internet banking website suggests anything about this. Now I am trying and getting a message "Something went wrong. Please try after sometime. Nothing is happening. I am not able to use online transfer of funds. Didn't find any guidance on internet banking account.

Both the apps are utterly useless. I'm not sure why the OTP won't go through or why I'm not able to login, exactly what "connectivity issue" is not being solved since 3 months is a mistry to me. I can't manage anything man! This is too much..

The beginning is good. Nice effort by management! Only 5000 could be withdrawn at a time in not good option. Enhance the limit. But the app stops and shows failed at times. Need to update and make fast app process. Overall very good effort and three cheers for the BOI & Aryavart team.
