Lots of bugs. Some workouts missing voice-over. Poor quality step counter that needs to be restarted constantly during walks when phone goes to "sleep" mode. If you don't restart, the workout is not counter. Unfriendly and useless customer service:when contacted about all the issues above they just canceled my subscription instead of fixing the issues! Not recommended, look for other apps that are better.

First off, the concept and trainers are great, but... the app is straight garbage! It consumes battery like no other, even when not in use. It bugs out and goes so slow I can't do the workouts because it won't load. Connected the band, and the app became unusable. It broke communication to the trainer, and IT just tells you to unistall and install... but how many times!? You lose all of your previous data to track your results... what's the point of paying for the app?

I love this, BUT.... dear director for the dance exercises... if the instructor is trying to give an example of foot movement, that is not the time for a close-up. If the instructor is showing a side-to-side move, that's not the time for camera 2 to come from the side. It hides the entire movement, so all we get is the fast version later, and we have to watch it 10 times over. I don't think the director ever tried to learn from a video before. That's how it seems.

The app has had a lot of issues for me. The app quit resetting each day. The coach messages quit working. My betterme band quit connecting and updating stats. Yesterday, support told me to reinstall and that fixed some of the problems. The app lost some historical data. Then most of the same issues occured again today. Reinstalling every day is not going to be a good solution. The coach is nice and knowledgeable. The exercises are doable, but I don't know the results yet. I probably won't renew

I am not sure the exercises have to be in a certain order but staying in one position to do all the exercises would be helpful. For someone with mobility issues the changing from floor to standing multiple times throughout the workout is challenging and I have to pause the video multiple times to get into position to do the exercises

I have a lot of bone Joint, and muscle issues, so these workouts are perfect for my limitations and busy schedule. You may not spend a lot of time, referring to the shorter workouts, but ALL of them make you sweat & you feel it the next day! LOVE this APP. I've only done the workouts, and haven't tried the rest of the many features as of yet. 100% recommend!

As a physical therapist I try to make the exercises I provide to my patients easy for them to complete with minimal equipment. The BetterMe: Health Coaching app does this extremely well and has even more tools to help anyone succeed in being a healthier version of themselves. The exercise routines have great instructions/cues, and are organized very well to ensure a good workout every time. I will definitely be recommending this app to my patients who wish to improve their fitness/health.

So you sign up off whatever platform you see the add, then there are 3 to 4 more "upgrades" they try to get you to purchase. Also, it said no equipment needed, workout in your own home. The first workout I did I needed to buy 2 pieces of equipment, which, of course they offer you to purchase from them. I'm not a huge fan of the bait and switch. I did pay my money, so I'm going to give it a try. I looked for places with honest reviews and didn't find any, hope this helps someone else.

I really enjoy the short workouts. I have been able to incorporate them in my life at the beginning of my day, and it hopes me stick with it. The app worked great for the first 28 days, the started to load funny, the exercises would stop mid program, the time would freeze, the app would be slowed. I hope this is a temporary thing.

First you take a LONG quiz which takes down your habits and information. I really expected it to scale the exercises to your level with such detailed info, but alas, the program was like for beginners. I did two days of pure stretching when I wanted a workout; one exercise was just waving arms up and down. I can find better exercises on Youtube for free. Also wish there's more music options. But, I like the live action instructor, and the other exercises offered not on the main program.

Very frustrating that there is not an app compatible with Android watches. I do not want to purchase an additional device to track my steps, nor is it feasible to carry my phone around with me wherever I go for the app to be able to count my steps. Also app glitches. Reached out to tech support. That particular issue was resolved but now app logs me out and deletes all of my previous progress.

I despise logging food within this app. It's a shame the feature is unusable. The app measures all foods in ounces. Every nutrition label on every food in the USA is measured in grams. It sucks that I'm paying for a feature I can't use. I have to use another app to log food so that I can keep track of everything. I haven't found any option to switch to grams. Busy people don't have time to convert measurements or weigh every food. I also wish I could set fasting to specific times of day.

Do NOT download this app. They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your subscription (still dealing with this) and the workouts are SO RIDICULOUSLY easy. It's dumb. But the real issue is the inability to cancel your subscription. For context: I signed up for the 28 day membership, which automatically renews at a higher rate after the first 28 days. I immediately realized this app is not for me because the workouts are not actually workouts but I'm currently stuck with it because their stupid app.

I like the meal options and measurements to help u stay on track. Ive done a few exercises, and while I understand moving encourages all muscle groups, it would be helpful to do all the floor ones at the same time then do the wall ones. Going back and forth to the wall and floor is cumbersome to get in proper position, especially for us big gals. In time, I'm sure I'll have them memorized, it won't be an issue, but as a beginner, it's an issue. Otherwise the app makes me feel confident

Decent app but it could be so much better. I try to open the app on my iPad and found out that none of the data is synced so my completed workouts aren't even noted and I'm not able to access the next workout in my series. One other huge pet peeve of mine is the fact I got to look at the upgrade screen. Every time I open the app. We're paying customers. Why are you trying to upsell us every time we use the app? That definitely doesn't make me want to continue paying for a subscription.

With the betterme app, in order to track your steps, you either have to carry your phone on you at all times or have the betterme band. I do have the betterme band, but it is not great or even good. Sometimes, it will track your steps and give you text/call notifications, and sometimes,it won't. The betterme app also will only track your workout if you do the recommended workout (it has been the exact same workout for me every day for 3 weeks now). The app needs a lot of improvements to be good.

Easy to use, reminders too. Helps me find meals I'm not allergic to. It's introduced me to a much better diet or meal plan I could come up with alone. So update as of 5/19/24 I've had to download and uninstall it so many times I've lost count to "fix the bug" then out of the blue they cancel my connection with Gina and say I asked for it? No I didn't. I asked to be refunded the money for the watch because I had purchased the upgrade and the watch was supposed to be free. It wasn't.

I saw an ad for this app with a 28 day indoor walking challenge. After downloading and paying the initial fee to join, the app looks nothing like what it showed in the ad, and I can't even find a 28 day challenge for indoor walking in the options. There are some good features, but in order to get the useful plans and challenges, each one has an additional cost which is disappointing. Plus it also has its own fitness tracker, so doesn't integrate with the one I already have.

Purchased the one month trial. I'm on day 3. The exercises are fine, definitely a bit sore after not having worked out in a few months. But the app itself leaves a lot to be desired. I have it installed on my phone and my tablet. They don't sync. I don't even have the same workout routines on both devices, so I'm not sure how tailored this truly is. The fact that it won't sync steps with my Galaxy watch, Google Git, or anything else like it is annoying.

Pros: many MANY different workouts and types which is great. Great video tutorials and timers. Con: no way to search the hundreds of workouts or save them. Also, not in alphabetical order so it makes searching even harder. Even if you download the workout, you still have to remember exactly where you found it to use it. Doesnt keep a log of completed workouts either. With a search feature or at least somewhere to save my favorites I would've kept my subscription.
