Crashes, lags, and music and sound cut on at random as I visually confirm it is set to off. Even when you turn it back on and turn it off it remains. Love the missions, love the different modes and how they're optional. Love that they show what the prizes are. Main complaint is wish the game was more stable even on a mobile connection.

The app keeps freezing. Also, I cant claim my reward for the leaderboard challenges. It says "claim reward" and when I click it, nothing happens. Also, the the ads rotate the screen and when its time for the game to start, the game is reduced in size, taking up only half of the phone screen, making it IMPOSSIBLE to match gems. Basically, you lose your rare gem and can't enjoy the game.

Enough already. Stop with the required updates. You guys want a update every 6 to 8 weeks and with each update it stalls and freezes more. Some of us are low on storage space on our phones and can't even update. Also the ads are over the top and excessive, you now spend a third of the time watching ads instead of playing the game and usually when I try to click out of the ad the game stalls and freezes up. It's very frustrating at this point

This used to be my favorite game! Been playing for over 10 years. I lost all gold bars after working them up to over 47 thousand! Not much to many 😌but a lot for me. I got a new phone and lost all the items in the item box, coins, gold bars and status! They (support) told me if I was connected to FB it would be easier to get all the content I lost back.....Im not on FB so thats not an option for me. And now Ive lost more content that cant be replaced in full. What is with Blitz! Fixit!

21 July 2021 - for the last few weeks, I'm constantly losing all kinds of stuff... I'll be working on gem explorers, and let's say i need to play 2 champ games. I play the second one, using 1 of only 3 rate gems i have, finish the game and as I'm going to pick my prize, i accidentally lock my screen. I unlock it right away and the game goes to the home screen. I don't get to pick a prize, don't get credit for playing the game, lose out on the gem streak... It's awful.

I used to love this game. It was peaceful and relaxing. Now with all the nags and the begs and unnecessary complications and making you watch videos and pop-up ads it has become nothing more than a massive annoyance. I thought I would try it again two years later, but the situation I described before has gotten even worse. Blazing speed is almost impossible to get, good Cascades are rare and special gems difficult to obtain. More ads than ever. It just seems to be getting worse.

The bad thing about it is the blitz challenges. It only gives you 2-3 days to get through them & some of them take longer to do. Like doing 4 different blitz champions games. Those don't change but every 24hrs, so that is unattainable. If it's in one of the 1st levels & you can't get it, you can't collect prizes from any level after it, even if you finish them. There shouldn't be a level that's impossible to complete.

Been playing the game for about 10years. It's fatally crashed twice. The first time I spent money getting all the goodies. This just made it easier and fun. When I started getting fairly high and stopped spending money....it refused to open. Reinstalled and achieved infinity 1450+. And then.... crashed again. What the heck? Don't make enough on the saturation add campaign in the game? Crashing only occurs when you have finally aquired enough to enjoy the game. Just spend money to get it back?

The game needs a reboot. I'm ALWAYS losing coins,boosts, and games. My game is FROZEN!!! I can't plan the Blitz games. I've been having problems for months. It's very frustrating 😑I can't play my Blitz game. HELP!!!! HELP!!!!! How long is it going to take to fix my problem??? I don't want to reinstall the app because I'll lose all my coins and points 😪 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Too many ads!!! I changed my 5 star to 1 now because of it. I certainly can't play this game if that's all I want to do at the moment. I typically play it while doing my make up so the ads can play out while I'm busy. The ads also require 2-3 steps of clicking the X to shut them down with 5-10 seconds between each, if you know what I mean. And if you watching ad to get a bonus, then those seconds can be up to 12-15 after the initial 30 for the true ad, then another 5 seconds for the final X.

It's fun with some neglected flaws. After over a decade of playing (1st by PC) it does allow you to compete without spending. Yet, for the past many years, I get so annoyed that the special star gem bug has never been fixed...YEARS. The bug will prolong star gem damage if you make too many star gems at once and they explode...time will continue as the animation is stuck in a que of sorts and you can't do nothing. This leaves you watching time pass when you are ready to get the best score ever.

This game used to be a fun game to play, but now with all of the interuptions and advertisements slowing it down, I guess the fun is gone. Thats really too bad for such a good game. I have made the decision to just leave this game completely. it's not even a game anymore. Pretty bad when you have to watch an add after each round of play, some times multiple adds, and when you click play it takes up to 25 seconds before it goes to the game, or it goes to an add first. no fun anymore. good bye.

Had to lower my review to 4 based on recent problem of losing state when turning off screen and turning back on (or switching to another app, etc). It didn't used to do that, but it's very frustrating and makes me feel A LOT less happy/de-stressed playing the game. Previously 5 star: There are tons off tweaks to make the ~60 seconds of each game more action packed than any other matching game. Also daily spin and challenges motivate returning each day.

Every time I've opened the app recently, it freezes and I have to take the battery out of my phone (HTC Inspire) and reboot. On top of this start up issue, I'd like to see the goals/challenges from the desktop version integrated into the app as well. Update: better now. Issue with disappearing inventory when going between phone and Facebook Gameroom on pc though.

Latest Wordscapes ads take over completely. There is no option to close the ad. You can sit staring at it, or install the game. Every once in a while there is a new gem, but the game has basically stalled with no significant changes in quite a while. If the ads aren't fixed, this game which has provided countless hours of diversion will be removed from my phone.

As of 1/4/24, this app will not open. Samsung galaxy 21fe. App freezes on loading screen and then the error message says "this app has a bug. Please wait for the developer to update it." Way too many ads. Used to be every 3 games and now is every 1-2 games. Also almost all the ads play music. Many ads have no 'x' to exit the ad so you're stuck and then you have to force close the app and you lose your progress. App has one touch auto download buttons hidden in ads so it will download other apps

This game is tough to recommend in its current state. It frequently has to reload itself if you even leave the app(not close) for a split second, and it's now more ad supported and filled with micro transactions than ever before. High scores are often obtained not through skill, but boosters that cost 100k or more coins, 4 different types of "currency", and ads popping up constantly. Leave it Electronic Arts to ruin a good game with obscene amounts of monetization.

Been playing on an almost daily basis for about a decade. Managed to save up over 30M coins and use more rare gems than I can remember. In that time frame I've NEVER gotten the grand prize for the rare gems & EVERY time I choose the same one. The one in the center. Assuming the game weren't rigged and I've played several thousand rounds probability says it should have happened about 11% of the time which it hasn't. Also shards need to be more accessible. Not bad but room for improvement

UPDATE: It stole the coins or cost to join the Saturday challenge. 100,000 coins gone and no score, even tho I played and used pink crystals for an encore. It freezes all the time. I just played a "Friday" challenge, and it froze right at the end. It took my $100,000 that I used to buy in, and since it froze, it didn't keep my score. I want my $100,000 back. It's a fun game, but I'm tired of all the freezing.

This game is entertaining. The one min timer makes the game challenging. The persistent ads after every 1 min game is extremely annoying. I have no problem with ads, I understand the need for them, but the amount in this game is over the top. The daily challenge will allow you to watch an ad instead of pay 10k coins, but sometimes it will not give the reward and goes right into another ad! It sometimes feels like I watch more ads than play the game.
