This app functions inconsistently. Cuts connection often. In addition, I think I'm just really having a difficult time figuring out what it's really useful for. Other than pairing, which can be done with Bluetooth, and the modularity of the button on a pair of headphones, this app is pretty useless. No graphic eq or really any sound modularity at all, no real reason to download it or keep in installed. Overall pretty basic, functionless, and a waste of any storage space on your device.

I absolutely LOVE the sound quality of my Beats. But this app is not as good. When I'm listening to an audiobook or my music on the go and I get a call, all of a sudden the earbud switches off and won't connect until after my call is done. Plus, there always some type of update, but when I try to do it I get an error. Is it because Thought it was because I was using an Android device, but I see that's not the case. Please improve this - I LOVE the Beats brand.

Unclear what the purpose of this app is. There's no special features for the earphones (Powerbeats 3). The app keeps *yelling* (in my mind at this point) about updating the firmware of the earphones. I've tried at least a dozen times and it ALWAYS fails and asks to try again. Apple, what's the point of this app ? Maybe it's a platform issue and it does a whole lot more magic on iOS. But so far on Android, I'd say connecting with the default Bluetooth assistant worked just fine.

After reading other complaints here, I realized I was not doing anything wrong. Earbuds constantly disconnect. App doesn't recognize my buds and won't let me reconnect. After deleting and reinstalling the app, I'm still having the same issue. I'm using the Earbuds on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. When they do work, the sound quality is great.

(beat buds) When they work I'm happy with the quality. Bluetooth range is great, comfortable, good sound quality. However, I plug them in app doesn't reflect charge, randomly disconnect a few times a week, only way to see case change % is flip the lid around a few times til something clicks, buds don't always seat in charger correctly causing them to not disconnect or not charge. App UI is terrible. I'm actually pretty shocked at just how bad the app is. Overall they're meh. Could be better.

App is so unstable, it frequently stops responding and just crashes. Powerboats pro product is actually phenomenal, but I have the original version, beats by Dre. Now that they have been bought out, I saw an immediate change in functionality. The "autodetect" stopped working, I have tried factory reseting, and it's hit or miss. The auto mic detection never works, it's stuck on whichever side I use first after a factory reset, even though the app is set "automatically switch"

The battery life should be displayed. There should be an option to leave it displayed in the taskbar. There needs to be an option in the app to disconnect and connect one earbud at a time. The case for Powerbeats Pro is too large to carry in most cases and the independence of the earphones is completely dependent on the removal from the case. A simple power off long press on each headphone would be ideal.

I thought I was the only one having connection issues but it seems it's the app causing these issues. Since I updated two days ago, beats fit pros have been nothing but a hassle. The app only let's me connect one ear at a time (it seems to favor the right ear and rarely connects the left one), the case refuses to reset now for some reason, and the earbuds no longer disconnect when I put them in the case, the app stays connected to them. And once I try to use them it refuses to connect. Wth apple

Absolute garbage. It won't connect to my beats even though my phone will, so I cant switch between transparency and noise cancelation. What's the point of 200$ headphones if I can't even properly use them ? It is becoming absurd how long this has been an ongoing issue as well. Y'all should be ashamed as a company. 👎 Update: app is working smoothly now (thank goodness). Thank you for improving !

You still have to open the app 1000 times a day to get to noise canceling mode. So lame. If no audio is playing it switches back to 'transparency'. Sometimes it switches back for no reason. You can get between the other two modes just by holding the button, but not noise canceling. WHY. There was an update that supposedly fixed this BUT DID NOT. So in summary, the hardware works fine. Please, just let me choose the default noise canceling mode.

Embarrassing product from a company with so much backing. Why can it not remember my preferred noise cancellation settings? Why does it have so many difficulties charging? The charge percentages aren't even accurate as one minute it'll show 167%, and be empty within 5 minutes. Random disconnect and reconnect in the middle of a song. My beats are almost unusable due to awful and unreliable charging after just 2 years due to regular use of about twice a week at best. Overall 0/5 stars

Give the app location permissions if you're smart. For all of those who don't think location is something that isn't needed, well, they must not have lost their earbuds previously. When you do lose your earbuds, you will wish you had that permission active since there is a feature to track your earbuds. You only have access to the feature to locate your earbuds if you gave the app permission. Good luck finding those earbuds!

Clean app. Easy functionality. Simple to update the firmware. Could you please add noise isolation/cancellation, transparency for the Android side though? The sound quality by feedback of others are the equivalent of my $20 earbuds from Amazon. It's missing great capability by lack of controls. It tries to automatically isolate without cancelling.

I have very happy using the Beats Fit Pro earbuds for the last year, but since the update about a month ago, they absolutely suck!! They aren't charging when I put them in the case, and they keep losing connection with my Android phone multiple times in a few minutes. They only thing that's new is the update, and it broke my beats. PLEASE FIX!!!

I got the beats studio and the first couple of days I had no issues up until earlier today. The app kept sending my notifications every 2 seconds about the beats connecting. It was so annoying. There's no way to turn it off. I uninstalled the beats app and it went away. I'm think of returning these. I love the quality of them but the app just sucks. I can still use the beats without the app but it's stupid that there's an app for a product you have and can't even use it.

After using Beats headphones for a week, I've noticed two things. They sound great but keep falling out of my ears. The bigger issue? If you lose them, there's no way to find them using the app, unlike Apple AirPods. It's frustrating to have a product from a company that offers an app but doesn't provide basic location tracking. While the sound is good, this missing feature makes Beats less attractive compared to other options.

Permissions requirements are silly. You DO NOT need my location. More importantly, I cannot see a way to save my noise canceling setting. Every time I connect the buds, it defaults to 'transparency' when I last set it to 'noise canceling'. Each time, I have to open the app, set to noise canceling. Even while I'm looking at it....the selection will change with no input from me at all. It also shows me current firmware but no indication if it is the most current.

Sound quality and fit are great. But since switching to these, either they're causing my phone to spaz out, or they're bugging out themselves. Way too often, I try to pause, just for the app to crash to the point I have to restart my phone. Reliability isn't where it should be. Imagine listening in your ear , but the push button to pause decides it won't pause and continues playing music and crashes my streaming app in the process. FIX THIS!! I paid too much to deal with this.

App keeps telling me I need an update, but when I click the notification, it just takes me to the main screen of the app. Nowhere to find this "update," and it's annoying to keep getting the notification for one. Plus, they're a bit picky with connecting to Samsung devices. I'm gonna guess because it's an Apple product, and they rather you use an iPhone.

This is a great app, and the Beats work great. Why two stars? Literally at 12:02 PM every single day, the beats disconnect from the device I have them synced to. I have to manually resync them to the device before they work again. There's no effective way to contact the company to discuss the issues and solve the problem. Again, I can't stress how disappointing, disrupting, and irritating this is. Therefore, two stars despite the product being relatively great when it works!
