The app is not bad at all, it was able to do everything I needed, but I'm not giving my facial biometric data to keep accessing the app. There's no other option to take, the app just limits your access to the service if you don't share your facial biometric data. Why to restrict the service this way? I am very disappointed. Surely a shame.

Was a decent with a few errors like the app force closing sometimes which I somewhat tolerated since I mainly used the app just to check my balance. Now however since the recent update it stopped using my fingerprint to gain access and now asking for facial recognition. I hate this and even if it's only the one time I have seen the security options and fingerprint is no longer an option. This has seriously made me consider moving banks to a more UI friendly banking app.

I have my own right to share or not personal information, specially that which is biometric or physical features such as face recognition and I'm not satisfied with sharing that kind of info. It was a very useful app before but now it bothers me to have to be giving away sensitive material such as a face image just to use an app. It is being forced (to change to another bank completely) because if I don't consent I simply can't use the app.

I can't download the app since the BBVA system crash and nobody in the call center help me. Terrible service. When I click on download it starts the process and once is close to 100% there is a pop-up message that says : Can't install BBVA, if the problem persist check common ways to fix it. I use a Redmi note 7, android 10 and more than the half of my memory storage is available , I clear all the cache and still nothing works.

Even though the app has lots of pros compared to not having it, its performance is poorly seen with slowliness, crashing and not letting you to even move from app to app and then go back, cause then it will restart all over. That been said, it's a shame to know that there are other less known bank apps that run better.

It was a very good app until the update forces the user to register facial recognition to access. I don't like to provide my biometric data so easily but there is no choice to opt out. I need to keep it for the digital token, but I will not register my face. If they ever decide to remove the forced facial recognition I might change my grade.

Face recognition is a deal breaker, specially for a app with so many bugs. If I may add, there are very few atms where I live cp 25750 Customer service at branches is really good like 4.5 out of 5 Tried to talk to someone on the phone and the automated service kept talking while I entered the information requested and then blocked me for trying 3 times. I have accounts in the US and have access to my info and many instantly without all the verification steps. Thanks for reading.

Some transactions are not made or are not reflected, I have a transaction that appeared as the amount but then you check to see if I move and the movement is seen at 0.0 and I do not have reflected my money

Ever since the last update this app keeps crashing when trying to log into my acc. Please fix it asap, prior to this update I never had an issue with this app.

The app was great until the last update that forces user to register face recognition to be able to access the app functionality. I'm not comfortable to register my face into the application. I think this should be optional for each individual person. I use other bank operators apps and might consider migrate my account if this does not become optional. It was great enough to me until this update. Too bad.

The application was working perfectly fine in December 2020. However, with the latest update I can't have access to my account movements! The screen goes blank and then it freezes! This is so frustrating and needs to be fixed immediately. I read through the comments, followed the "solutions" given by reps from the bank and nothing works. Give an actual solution and have your technicians fix this mess. Do not respond to my review with a "delete your app and reinstall"; that doesn't work.

When I try to pay my personal credits, I need to pay, logout and login in order to pay each of them, it sucks.

This application used to be reliable. However in the last days a lot of features don't work. I can't see my card information. I can't turn on my cards, as all card section is not working. I can't perform configuration changes, the notifications don't work I have called BBVA 3 times, I have cleared cache, data, reinstalled the app twice and nothing works. I have sent the error message in a screen capture to the bank, but looks like they don't have a clue of what is going on. It is a shame.

UPDATE: After giving for a few hours, I reinstalled the app and then tried again when I was back home and it worked. I don't know why ORIGINAL REVIEW: Facial recognition doesn't work, and without it I can barely do anything in the app

You are forced to give location data, facial data, and fingerprint data to use the app. All that is left is your blood. Maybe they wouldn't need all this if their password wasn't limited to 10 alphanumeric characters. Edit: The reason given for this is it's required by law for security. The issue still remains, and I can only hope the invasion of privacy does not get worse.

It's been more than two week since this latest version keeps crashing when trying to open it, already tried calling the Customer Service number and couldn't make it work, tried uninstalling the app and nothing. I don't like this app since they change the app to the new look, it's somehow confusing and it takes more steps to do simple things- like paying your credit card. Hope they can go back to the older version.
