- See what you’re currently reading by going to your 2023 Bookshelf.
- Create custom reading lists for all your print books, ebooks and audiobooks.
- Use this book organizer to group your romance books together, your comic books, your poetry books, your mystery books, Harry Potter books, or even books for kids and audiobooks for kids. Organizing by book genre makes it easy to find the right book for your current mood and interests, so you’ll know exactly where to look when you want some romance stories to spice up your Saturday night.
- Search for books based on title and author. Can’t find one? Add it to the book depository yourself.

READING TRACKER

- Track all your print books, Kindle ebooks and Audible audiobooks in one place.

BOOK STATS

- Get personalized book stats, analytics, and tips on your reading behavior: completed reading sessions, total read pages, average read pages per hour, estimated completion date for a book based on your reading speed, longest reading session, reading streaks, daily graph of time spent reading.

GOAL TRACKER

- Setting and tracking goals can help you get to your end destination more quickly. And with the Basmp app, you can easily keep an eye on your progress – along with reminding yourself of what you set out to do.
- Build a reading habit by setting up a daily reading goal. This can be 20 minutes, 45 minutes, or any goal of your choice. Try to meet your goal every day!
- Start your own reading challenge to stimulate yourself to read more. Set up an annual reading goal.

I use the free version and it is so easy to use and track reading books. It encouraged me to start reading more and the idea of tracking reading through 'streaks' is something I find encouraging. Would recommend this app if you struggle with organising thoughts around reading, as well as if you just need motivation to read more.

My god can't believe how fast the app starts nagging for a subscription. I mean it doesn't even have some of the basic features of Goodreads such as marking progress in % and a lot more I didn't have time to explore since it irritated me beyond anything that it suddenly wouldn't let me continue the session after I spent all that time filling out the books I read this year thinking I'd be using this app for a long time. What a waste of time.

Cool app but when I read it logs way less than the actual time that I read, when I open the book to check the reading for the day it may say 30min but when I check the daily goal it says that I've been reading for 7 minutes or so. Also, when I go to the bar statistics I can double click a bar and it grows? Not sure if this is supposed to hapen but it is so weird. And I can also log more pages than the actual book has and does not throw error? The app is very buggy overall.

I can see how it can help people read more, but for the free plan - one session a day? It's too little for people who like to read sporadically, and switch to different books in a day. I was so excited to have an app to track my books and thoughts on them, but I was quickly disappointed that only the premium plan could provide that. Also adding pictures doesn't work. hope the Basmo team can make some changes in the way of reading sessions, because this is a great concept.

In books that I add manually, the covers always have a habit of disappearing. When I scan the pages, they don't end up saving and won't load no matter how long. This is a server host problem, and the app's buggy as a garden (not that strong code wise as well), performance is honestly embarrassing, wrong statistics, bad output etc.

This is a wonderful app. I was so excited when I found out something like this exsists. The reason why I gave it two stars is that I wish having multiple reading sessions could be in the free version. I'm the type of reader to read little bits throughout the day, which causes me to have many reading sessions. Because of this, I've quickly run out of sessions. I don't have a credit card so I can't pay for the full version and get more sessions which makes me shy away from the app. :(

I love the idea of this app, but there are awkward bugs in the current version that ruins the best features. (1) The reading goals aren't correctly calculated; the app says that I need to read a book a week despite my goal of 16 books a year. (2) After logging a reading time of 48 minutes, the app claims that I've read 8 minutes compared to my daily goal of 30 minutes. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed!

I thought to myself like that's a great app, I can set a goal, keep track of the books I read and write notes. Also, it doesn't have any ads and pretty easy to use. Awesome, right? Well, no. This app has a thing called "session". Basically you start a timer when you read and it helps you to measure the time you read. However you have only one session per day! I hate seeing a great idea wasted like this to gain money by developers.

You can only track a "reading session" which is recorded immediately and it's based on the timespan. There are many options missing: You can't put in the amount of pages you read yesterday, you can't prioritize or set a goal for the number of pages you read (it's always about the reading time which isn't interesting to me at all), there are no statistics about the pages you read. The app tracks only your reading time and if you want to start a tracker each time you touch a book: Perfect app.

good app, motivates me to read and helps me reach my goals. one problem i have though, is that it tracks my goals very badly. it updates very slowly and sometimes it doesn't update at all. plus id like to see how many pages i read an hour EACH session, i could on ios, i dont know if it's just changed or something but i really liked that feature and would like to see it again. other than that i like the app though.

You can't download and export your notes. I read only that it's possible, but no explanation how and in the app it's only possible by marking text you wrote and then click on export. But you would need to do this for every single text individually, because it's not possible to mark multiple texts...

It's ok, but has some bugs. I have added my own categories, including "Own but have not read," "Own and have read," "Finished," "Want to read," "Currently reading," and "Finish later." The problem I have is that these are not exclusive. The books should not be able to exist in multiple categories.

I used this to track a book I am reading, and it let's you time your reading sessions and how many pages you read, but after you record 3 sessions, you have to pay before you can track anymore. It's upsetting because it's easy to use and it thought it'd be okay, but I guess I understand having to pay, it's just aggravating. Just give me a free version with ads 🙄

Pretty good! Still a little buggy at times(titles will not add to my collections). But i love how you can organize them in different collections. I wish there was a way to add notes for titles that you just added and marked as finished. You can only add notes when you start a session. So i end up starting a session and just marking it as read, since I've already finished it. I enjoy how easy it is to add titles, as it lets me add books in different languages with ease.

I love the concept. I love that you can edit items in your sessions. BUT it's very buggy. I was unable to edit pages on my second sessions and app crashed every time while trying to edit the page number. This has happened during the free trial, day one. I was sold on getting the membership but due these bugs, I'm not sure that I'll be paying for it after the 7 days are up. Will reconsider if these issues are fixed.

Great app for keeping track of your reading. It's not exactly perfect but it's definitely the best app out there for keeping a solid reading schedule. To Basmo: There are a few things that I think would improve the app. -When you add a new book, you should be able to put the page number/chapter you're currently on. Not everybody is going to be starting every book from page 1. -Tracking by page number doesn't work well for audiobooks. Should be able to track by chapter as well.

Doesn't scan. The whole reason I downloaded this app was the capability the app description listed about scanning in order to read later. I follow the directions I found online but the screen to scan/snap a picture of a book page doesn't work. I've tried multiple times over the last couple of months and it continues to freeze upon clicking "scan page" and it never scans. I then exit the app and re-open to try again and still freezes/fails.

I should have read further into the reviews. I'm experiencing issues that folks brought up 2 years ago that still haven't been fixed, particularly the issue with editing sessions. I want this to work because it's a great concept, but it's buggy and disorganized. Particularly strange that there is no quality control around adding new titles, which turns it into the wild west of a database. I'm going to give it a day to see if I can deal with the issues but likely uninstalling.

The app says it catelogues your books. It even asks if that is your main goal for the app on start up. I had hopes of entering my entire Library within the app, so I could scroll through and choose a genre that interested me. However, it seems to only catalogue books READ, not by books intended to read later. I am unsure why a person would need this feature or why it bothered to ask at start up. The selection changed nothing. I enjoy the rest of the features though.

The app has been working well for the past month or so BUT it is starting to act up. I keep trying to enter books in the search bar of Basmo to add them to my 'Want to Read' Collection but they are not showing up. Any title or Author I put, nothing shows up. I even tried to type a book that was already in my 'Want to Read' Collection and it said it couldn't find it so i had to put it in manually. I have restarted my phone, wifi and everything else. Can some help or please fix this? Thank you.
