The game has great gameplay and graphics, as expected of the series, but is missing a big part of it's charm, that charm being career mode. Career mode had a unique experience and quirkiness to it that My Player mode fails to capture. My Player is just a heavily watered down version of Career mode, and could have honestly been handled better. As the game currently is now, I think that the 2013 and 2012 iterations of the series are much better than this game.

I played the 2013 in high-school and I got to tell you this game is fun and more challenging. The need for trainers is a good concept but at the same time, it makes it too necessary because without them you can't go to a high rank and beat other player's. Other than that 9/10 One more thing I forgot to mention, the prices on the shop. They need to go down. The products are too OVERPRICED.

I VERY much prefer the 2013 version. It's more explained, and not as confusing. There was some personability lost with this one, but I can't explain specifically. It just doesn't feel enough like the previous installment, which is a top 3 All-time mobile game imo. There's an overload of things to learn early on, even for returning players.

Fun to play, like that you can make an entire team of customized players that you train. Would like an easier way to check stats for season and career. Lots of fun and can play without paying. I dont spend any cash and still enjoy the game immensely. Would like an option to do a rundown, once you commit to advancing bases can only return once. Usually resulting in an out

Good solid game. Little blast from the past in my player, only don't like having to upgrade my whole team to continue on, but my team is pretty solid also. They could have maybe made it a little less confusing. Only real complaints, that negatively effect gameplay that need addressed, game winning walk off hits are not being counted towards stats, which has cost me points, and lag spikes often in the middle of pitches. I have 12gb of ram, not set to peak graphics, so not a performance issue

I enjoyed the last few BB superstars, for the 8bit fashioned graghics, the much simpler gameplay and the controls...Now this one, I feel personally, has way to much going on, but if you like the big multi-mission, mega memory using, never-ending simulation games, then you should definitely try it!! Gameplay is cool, graphics are definitely upgraded, but it is way over my head....

Its not bad but it's quite different from the older games. It definitely has a very heavy freemium presence. Loot boxes, cosmetics, and energy based lockouts are rampant. If you're only going to play for an hour or two a day you'll never really experience it but it's clear that they plan to add more microtransactions and other features to get you to pay up. It's also lost a lot of the RPG aspects of the old games in favor of a team management style. No more long careers with one character.

Superstars 2011 is still in my opinion the best mobile sports game ever. Not needing Wifi connection made it a no brainer to keep on my phone. This game while still having fun gameplay is just way too busy. Y'all put too much time into making it look nice when no one really would've cared if it was still 2D. Like many others have said Career Mode is the calling card and with out it there really isn't a point. Also please update 2011 so it can be played on current devices.

The game is great. Nice effects, options, visuals and graphics. However the gameplay itself is not 20/20. The fact that :if you use advanced batting the game becomes super hard and if you switch to simple it becomes too easy. Is really an annoying aspect. Pitching becomes super boring after a while because its repetitive. Myplayer is the only fun mode due to the quests and grinding you have to do. Recruiting "Trainers" is given more attention than using them. It has potential though.

Game is still very buggy and crashes at certain parts of the game. It could be a decent game. Graphics are good. Please do jot make it a pay to win game. Prices are too high for items in the shop. After a few updates it us now less buggy. I am upgrading my review to 4 stars. It is a really good game with very nice graphics and gameplay mechanics. The only downside is it gets too repetitive. But, overall, it is a very good game.

A lot of people are disappointed about no career mode, and yeah that's valid. This game has really nice graphics etc, but I feel like it's more formatted for tablets? I'm on my phone and the gameplay lags, certain menu buttons are extremely tiny, training just kills my phone. And my phone isnt even that old.. it's a good game, the character designs are solid but it's also a little confusing tbh even with doing the whole tutorial. Not sure what I'm doing I just wanna play baseball

Overall, the game is well made and the controls feel great. However it packs too much content and can feel intimidating. Of course players can pick and choose a few while ignoring other parts but then FOMO sets in and I've decided to give up altogether on it. Voice commentary needs improvement as it has a few errors in calling the correct plays. English commentary is also riddled with awkward expressions perhaps suffering from direct translation and needs quality control in localization.

I love the graphics and the advanced batting controls. But I'm winning by like 30 every game on planet league, it needs to be alot more challenging, maybe have settings easy, medium, hard so all ages can be happy. Also I really miss career mode. If it gets more challenging and career mode added I think it would be a 5 star to me. Till then I'll probably have to delete it:(

Great baseball game, but the huge amount of content is absolutely overwhelming. There also doesn't seem to be a way to change your players skills or play mechanics. Once they're set your stuck with what you've got. Also takes FOREVER to upgrade trainers, get thru training camp and contests, unlock special uniforms, etc (months, with no end in sight!). Whatever man. I'll play on, but I wish easier options to level up and get the extra content was available instead of this long work-around method.

Such a fun game in the series and I've played a few through the years. My biggest issues are the frame drops during loading screens and mostly during games. It has an effect on batting when the game freezes up mid-pitch and then when it resumes, the pitch is either in my face or past me, resulting in an inability to swing in time or even know if the pitch is going to be a strike before it's past me. Edit: This is the device I mostly play on and the issues are there. Hopefully this helps.

The overall feel of this game is phenomenal. The graphics, the controls, the atmosphere are all top notch. My biggest problem with the game is the overwhelmingly subpar career mode and the focus on a myTeam-esque main game. I'm all for trying something new, but the overall charm and appeal that the previous games had with the rich storyline and character progression, is lost with this new installment.

The thing that made me love these games was the career mode and being able to play through with one guy and do all the different routes of superstars. This game got rid of that and honestly it takes away so much from why people loved this series. If y'all add a full career mode this game would be top tier the graphics and everything else are amazing. But man it's missing something by not having it.

This is my post tutorial review: What a lovely game, the level of customization for your team is nice, controls are smooth, and it seems skill based. There are tiny lag spikes when on the home screen, but also my phone is older than most mobile apps. I switched to 5 stars because when I returned to play, the game was in an automatic power saving mode, these people are great!

The crossover is cool, and im enjoying the rp element. Now that ive created a few players i can see exactly what needs to be done and how i need to go about doing it. Now its just a dive roll on getting good partners and gear. Update: haven't played for a while but would still recommend this, very good artwork, smooth controls, and a decent "campaign story" with multiple different stories.

This game is phenomenal. Loved all the old ones. Even if it is a gatcha game, there's so much free content it doesn't feel like a cash grab. Can't wait to keep playing. The only annoying thing is that whenever you switch apps and go to back to the app, you get a "violation callback 18" then it crashes. Every single time without fail. Please fix asap
