Horrible app, very difficult to log in each and every time. It is the most difficult of any credit card finance related app I have ever seen. I have no problem with any sort of two-step verification- and this day and age that is totally reasonable. The app is so buggy and gives you so much grief often telling you that you are entering the wrong password even if you aren't, that I have ended up changing my password many times. So bad, wish I could just cancel the cards without any penalty

Originally the app worked well; was quick on login, easy to use, and accurately/ promptly updated my transactions and payments. Now, the app takes an extended time to open, an extended time during login, stalls, crashes, and doesnt promptly update transactions or payments, causing the balance to reflect a number that doesn't accurately show all charges vs payments. Hopefully these bugs will be corrected soon.

Update: added biometric login and some other nice features. I gave my son a card and put a transaction limit on it but I would like to be able to filter transactions by card #. It's definitely in the top tier of credit card apps. Some pages are definitely designed from the credit card company perspective but once you get used to that it makes sense. One thing I would like added is a login by biometrics, e.g. fingerprint. If that isn't secure enough include a PIN with the fingerprint.

I like the app just fine. Easy to pay your bill. It's been flipping out lately though. I have the fingerprint login activated and it still wants my password. I've updated and updated. Hasn't been fixed. 6/13/2018 fingerprint login still has not been fixed for the app. Still asks for password. 5/10/19fingerprint issue was fixed for a while now.

I live overseas and travel frequently. This app is so concerned about my 'security' it's become completely unusable. At first it was extra steps to login, now, I get a 'locked account' notification whenever I try, and if I take the time to call to unlock, I'm told it's not locked and the customer service has no clue what the issue is. Thanks for protecting me out of being able to easily access, Barclays. When I could access the app, it was fine.

Fingerprint login stops working every other day "due to a recent update", and when making a payment, you don't have a pre-filled option to pay off the *current* balance. Only options are statement balance, minimum payment, or a custom amount. If you want to pay all of the current balance, you have to memorize or write it down, then enter it as a custom amount. Mild inconvenience I know, but every other banking app gives you a quick option to pay your balance in full at any time of the month.

Fingerprint access does not work..... It will let you turn it on, but the minute you exit. It says it can not confirm fingerprint and turns the option off. Update: everything is working after I reinstalled the app. It is still clunky in its operational flow. I have to tell it every time I want to use biometric access. There appears to be no way to make it the default.

First the bad: if I have repeat payments on but want to pay off the full amount, I shouldn't have to cancel the automatic payment scheduled for 3 weeks from now to pay in full. That should happen automatically. But instead, with only this app for some reason, you need to go see what your automatic payment is and then subtract that from the amount you want to pay or cancel your automatic payment. This needs to be more user friendly For the good, the app runs smooth...

App is total garbage. Often down for maintenance or unavailable. Biometrocs are awful. When you can actually log-on the features are clunky at best...app needs a complete UI/UX overhaul. As far as the card I agree with a few other of the reviews. It's a total hassle if you need to contest any charges. There's no modern resolution center that you can flag transactions with. If you get into a fraudulent situation - you're on your own. I'd recommend a dozen other cards before this one.

There is no mobile phone setting in the profile. There is a primary number, and an alternate number, but no indication about which is my mobile number. And the text options in the alert settings are all disabled. Some screens have a back button, but others don't. The search function for transaction history is useless: search by name doesn't work, there's no filter for $ amount or transaction type, and no sort option. It's a decent app, but still needs work.

In the 2 ½ years I've had my card and account, I've not been able to get past the login page once. Sometimes I get an error saying the service is unavailable, sometimes it just crashes. Either way, would give no stars if possible. Update: I've reached out to their support team about the error twice since they replied to this review; no response both times. If someone from their Android support actually sees this, please reach out. I'd be more than happy to get this issue resolved 🙃

Overall really good app, but it would be nice if they had a feedback link for bug reporting. The most annoying one at the moment is that I can't actually see my card balance because a big image of the card overlaps the number. I have to add it up from the other numbers. I appreciate that, unlike many other businesses, their "contact us" page is a phone number for reaching real people, but it would would be nice to also offer a quicker feedback option.

Not as good as capital one or chase. The app doesn't show your balance on the screen where you make payments, nor does it automatically give you the option to pay the current balance. Also, other apps show you how many points each transaction earns right in the app. This one makes you download a pdf statement to figure it out. Such small things that other apps do that this one doesn't.

Horrendous -- for the last three versions this app simply crashes while trying to open it on my Note 20 Ultra (Snapdragon version). I've tried to clear cache and memory, etc. and it still doesn't work. I'd rate it a -10 if I could. Update: the developers are working on a fix, but I'll believe it when I see it. It's been months and Samsung Note and S series are very popular phones. There's really no excuse for the app to crash upon startup.

Can check basic stuff. I only have credit card with them, so can only review that part. My main issues with the app are 2 things. One is they don't show the points accrued from each transaction in the list. You have to open the transaction one by one to see the points that you get. Annoying. Two is they don't have push notification for when a credit card is being used / charged. They can only send notifications when payment is posted, and they even group it, rendering it very useless. I don't know which charges belong to which, which ones are fraudulent, etc. The notifications system is so bad.

Barclays has always been my favorite of all the banking apps. Before, I would have given it 5 stars. However after the last update it consistently fails to let me login. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice and nothing changes. It's very frustrating, please put in a new update to update whatever you were supposed to fix the last time that messed everything up.

I like to use my biometrics to login quickly and for the convenience of not having to remember my password. However inspite of enabling it each time I go to the app, it gets turned off after I log off with an error message that they're not able to save my biometrics. It's inconvenient for me and I find it not user-friendly. Update: I received a response from the development team. By reinstalling the latest version, my biometrics login works. Thanks!

App has become hot garbage in the past 3 or so weeks. App keeps having issues maintaining my login and peek, multiple times needing to use a text code or security questions, and most of the time if it gets through the login process...the app or system is unavailable and I'm asked to try again later. If I didn't have some decent credit history in the issuer, I would have left long ago simply because of the lack of Perks and benefits associated.

Doesn't work! I updated TODAY, so this isn't me trying to use an outdated version. It let me log in, sent the text with the code, I typed it in, went to the next screen. Lots of changing shades, nothing of any value displayed, after several minutes "Something went wrong" appeared and the session was over. This was NOT one time. I am stubborn, so I tried a few times. All had the same result. Great update guys, it used to work fine.

This app has worked well for me for years. Bit now trying to open the app takes four or five attempts with the app timing out and sending up errors. Yesterday it took a half an hour for me to finally access the transactions list. The lag time between screens is tremendous right now. Today I was unable to access my account at all. Something has clearly occurred to cause this to malfunction. I have never had this problem before. Please fix it as soon as possible!
