It's ok. Being in several different bands, we use this app for marking ourselves not available for bookings. Unfortunately, maybe it's me, but I cannot find a way to sync the different Band calendars. I have it export to my Google calendar, but having to mark myself out on numerous Band calendars is inconvenient and time consuming. I wish i could just enter it once, and it syncs amongst the different Band calendars. App is not very user friendly.

Really like the app. It is somewhat hard to navigate but that comes with practice. The plethora of features make up for the time taken navigating. But I wish the notifications would show their content on a smart watch. So far, on all of my various smart watches, when I receive a Band notification it only shows "BAND: Go to Band" on any of the watches.

Really liked this app and used it to keep me and my team organized in our event planning. We relied on the TO DO list feature very heavily. However, for some unknown reason, now you cannot see the names of your to do lists in the band. So when you look at your feed, it is just a bunch of lists all called to do, which is extremely stupid and unhelpful. Change it back. Upadate: I got a response to contact the developers for help - that is exactly what I already did here. Just fix it.

5/2/22 Update; Having trouble with Band not alerting audibly on some chat messages. Sent in a message to the help line and was told to send screenshots..... of a noise that isn't happening. Not sure what to do. Still frustrated with tripping on the functions are only on the phone app vs the website. Also I REALLY wish that the names in the sign-ups didn't grey out when the slots are full. The text is so TINY that it almost disappears when it goes grey. One other question. Is there any chance that Band will start tracking cumulative hours for community service groups. I really need that function! Starting to look around for something that can do both, even a paid app. Sign-Up Genius can do some of this, but it is pricy at that level. I wouldn't mind paying something, but they are a bit high. Great app, especially for free! The ability to do signups and polls is really helpful. Definitely helps with communications, especially with chronically non-communicative teens! Couple suggestions; 1. It would help if I could see who has read group chats, not just how many people. 2. It REALLY needs a "users manual", as opposed to a bunch of clips. Biggest complaint I get, and has kept my older leaders from using it well. 3. Having all of the functions work on the app AND the website. Thanks!

It's great and really helpfull! It is free, and you don't need to buy anything for this to work! It is really easy to use, helps me to commuticate with my friends, has a calendar to show upcoming events you can make, gives you notices if theirs anything new, and lots of other cool things, too! I recommend that if you need to talk to a group in any sort, get this app!!!

Awesome and Powerful Tool We've been using this for our church youth group and it's been incredibly useful! Convenient for us youth leaders in order to organize events, announcements, etc, and the youth loves it too because it gives them a dedicated place for them to socialize and see what people are up to. I wish the aesthetics of the calendar was a little better (it ends up looking rather small and cluttered), but everything else is just super!

Far too many irrelevant notifications. Constant notifications from the app itself about features they have, and no way to turn them off without disabling all notifications. We use this app for coordinating our marching band, and these junk notifications are useful to no one. The app is generally very slow to load, which is a big issue over a variable mobile phone connection.

I use this with my staff at my restaurant for communication, events, messaging, etc.... and it's awesome! I also teach a college course part time and I realized it's a great way to communicate with all my students as well. Practical and fun... update: there is no actual support!. if you email them with a problem, you will get no help. I still use this app, but with clear knowledge that there is no support.

I use this to run my girl scout troop & love it. It's very user friendly for the non- techie. The only thing I would change would be is for it BAND to automatically save a draft of a post. Sometimes I get interrupted & then close out all windows, forgetting that I was composing a post. Edited 11/2021 from 4 to 5 stars because the app was improved to include the post draft save feature (several months ago), and I can't wait to use a new feature to track the frequency of member check-in.

It's an alright app, it worked with my track and field group amazing. I wouldn't recommend it over Discord due to the limits. But as a silly little app the school uses, it does everything you'd need it to do. Although, when making the a band, it should be required that you add a list of rules or something. My coach didn't add any rules and now I got banned with no way of finding out why. Just make it so rules are required. Other than that, great app.

I have found this app to be very, very useful in getting my band and parents organized, but I've also run into a problem with notifications not getting pushed through, even while turned on - and it's hampering our communication. I've just switched phones and now my own notifications won't arrive until I open the app in the foreground - even in the background, it won't update. If we could have a fix for that, a lot more of our students and parents would probably be better about using the app.

It's not bad, would have liked to see more calendar views such as daily, weekly, monthly, yearly as a full spread of events is often helpful to view. Other critique I have is making the events that last a few days run as a bar across those days rather than just a dot for each day. Would be additionally helpful in visualization of events spanning longer than a single day. Looking forward to an update that may include the above listed!

More and more great features keep being added! This app is fantastic for our party band! So fantastic, we're now using it with both of our families! Edit: I understand if photo storage is limited, but the app at least needs to give us a warning before making all pics/vids invisible, because when we have to clear space, we don't know what we're deleting.

I love this app! I use it for home schooling! We have a Band for each subject. Everything is color coded, neat, and organized! I love that we can share Band posts with other Bands, which makes creating the syllabus so easy! If I could change one feature, it would be the polls (We use these for quizzes and some tests!). It would be nice if we could reopen a poll once it's been closed. Maybe add a feature for tabs in the bands. Other than that, definitely one of my favorite apps! Thank you!

You didn't read my last review carefully. The band app "STARTS" in portrait mode, then it switches to the orientation of my tablet AFTER displaying the band app splash screen. Program your app to recognize the orientation of the device FIRST, before it puts anything on screen. Once it does that, EVERYONE will see the first screen displayed however their screen is orientated!!! Until that day... this app screams of being programmed and maintained by teenagers!

I really do like this app :D! It's been such a blessing during covid and has helped me and my peers stay connected. My one complaint is that I can send voice memos that are up to 5 minutes only. In addition to that, I can't skip around in the voice message so if I miss something, I have to relisten to the entire thing. Also, when I leave the app with a voice memo playing, it cuts off and I have to go back to play it from the start again :( Other than that, this app is great!

Great concept, but significant lagging with posts. I love the idea behind this app and it does so many great things. However, when I post or comment there is a noticeable lag. Also, when videos are posted, there is a lot of stuttering and pausing on replay. I've done a lot of troubleshooting on my end, and I don't think it's my phone/ WiFi. It must be the app. Unfortunately, it makes the enjoyment level significantly deceased. Feel free to respond with technical suggestions.

I use Band for my dancing. We upload videos of dances to practice them. Oftentimes, when watching, the video is always pausing and freezing. I know it's not my WIFI because other people have the same problem. Anything upload, like pictures, also have trouble loading. I think this is a good concept, but there's just a lot of problems and bugs that should be fixed.

Awful experience. NOT mobile friendly, not designed with a phone screen in mind. Text on the app is tiny, makes this app very difficult to use. All of the accompanying text (like time stamps and other words) way smaller than the chat message text (but only that can be enlarged). Please fix! And chat messages seem to disappear, so our group is confused.

Worst user experience ever! The navigation of this app is so unnecessarily convoluted that it makes me want to gauge my eyes out. You get a notification for a message, you tap and you go see it. If you decide to try to find it later, good luck! There are a bazillion places where it could've been. Navigation is at the top. Unless it's at the bottom. But wait, it's actually in the middle, too. Chats can be all over the place. Was it posted on a home page of a band? A signup? Gaaaaah!!!!!!!!
