Having a blast with it, and even though my cell phone screen is kind of small, I can't stop playing bg2 on it. There are a couple of bugs which people have been able to troubleshoot on PC, but I don't know how to fix them on android- for Amomen's quest, his dumb drunk dad keeps telling me to get out of his house without any dialogue options. Would love it if devs helped with this! Otherwise enjoying my playthrough.

Originally gave it a 4 but have since bumped it to a 5 star because even though Google had it removed because of some bs policy change, Beamdog did whatever it took to bring it back. I never gave up on them and knew they would have it back eventually. Plus it's a great port of a classic game. It's better on tablets though because of the bigger screen but it's completely playable on mobile.

Used to love this game many years ago on PC so I decided to get the phone version. But, it's a poor imitation of the real Baldur's gate. All controls and graphics look just shrunk from what they used to be on pc. No adaptation to mobile at all. It's awkward, it's hard to see *anything*, stuff looks tiny and gameplay is fiddly and cumbersome. And that's on a Pixel 6 Pro, a premium phone with a large screen! Also, the app developers provide zero support so don't spend your money on this.

It's obvious it was a PC game - a great one at that. It just isn't good on mobile. Things like picking up gold and items off the dead bodies you kill is incredibly difficult. Especially if you want a specific party member to do it. It's too cumbersome. Battle controls are equally difficult as it just doesn't control easily on the phone.

Great game, as any fan would know!!! Easy to use UI smooth game play fast loading really nice when you will find yourself having to reload quick saves. (for noobs YOU WILL) don't be discouraged; it's normal 😉. There are a few bugs I noticed, but nothing that has stopped me from enjoying. Thanks for the work you guys did so I can enjoy one of my favorite childhood games on the go!

Played this game back in the day on a 800mhz P3, and my Samsung Galaxy 8 puts it to shame. Really playable on the smaller screen, and hardly any issues in the grand scheme of things. Bought it for $11 and worth 5 times that easily. Great game, amazing replayability, and endless paths through the game to suit your style.

I recommend playing this game on a tablet, but phone is fine for on-the-go game play. BG2 was my favorite childhood game and I'm excited to see it ported to mobile. Using external apps to put it on Android in the past was horrible, so I'm very happy for this. The game runs smoothly and doesn't hiccup with touchscreen. Even better, the expansions are included. So worth the money, and not just for the nostalgia.

It is a great game i have always like all the baldurs gate games on pc but the only problem i have is on the samsung galaxy nexus. The navigation bar covers the character selection side of the screen and it cannot be removed in any way . if this can be fixed that would be great. If not i wasted money on it just to not be able to play it would be depressing

The best way to play this game is on a Samsung flagship phone, connected to a TV, with a mouse and keyboard in "Dex Mode". It is really a good port, and playing it on a large screen (im using a 40-inch TV paired with a 2.1 soundbar) is undoubtedly an immersive experience. I have no issues playing this game in Dex Mode via Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S10e.

What the heck happened to this game? It played beautifully before now I can't even get it to download. I download it and it gets stuck installing. I played it for months on the same phone a few months ago. I uninstalled it to make room for KOTOR. I wanted to replay, guess not. Edit: it's working again. I don't like some of the changes. why change it at all, it played beautifully before? still a masterpiece.

Amazing game obviously 5/5 in pretty much all aspects. That being said. When you first start the game, it can be very, VERY daunting.... there are just so many options when it come to creating your character, selecting your team, or creating one, for that matter. But it's incredible. The world is lovingly and meticulously put together, the lore is deep and expansive, the enemies are varied and challenging. This game is just a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to any DnD fan new or old

Why can't I reapply ability skills on the roll? I can take away, but not put back in? This is going to make rerolling take FOREVER! edited to add: After days of research, I finally discovered that the error was due to the known screen issues of this game, and that I was simply unable to click on the correct button until I downloaded a program that allowed me to play the game by manipulating the screen.

Great game, however there are a few points ingame where the player can get stuck, unable to move forward with the story. For an "enhanced"edition it would seem the devs would have corrected these issues. Aside from that, love it. Just be sure to save frequently and have several backup saves available spread out along the game.

What's with the app's image just having a white background around it? Looks strange. Otherwise, this port of the gsme is meant to be played on tablet as most phones won't be large enough to let you click on certain hidden items. Otherwise it plays fine just like the game should. If you are hesitant to get it on your phone because of compatibility or screen issues, then definitely check it out on steam for the pc release.

When this was first released, there wasn't an option to resize text. Now there is, so it's actually readable. You have to play this game a little differently on mobile than on PC (like more auto pausing), but it's just as fun! It saves extremely fast, so I can whip it out when I have 3 minutes and hurry and finish a fight then save. I'd definitely suggest buying it on the PC if you haven't played through it before. It's a better experience on PC, but definitely playable on mobile!

Best game I've ever played on mobile. Unfortunately, I encountered a bug late in the game where I died while a dialogue was triggered. This rendered the game entirely unplayable even starting new save files. A permanent dialogue box was open, preventing me from doing anything other than moving. The box was even open on the main menu. I had to delete the app and reinstall it, losing all of my saves. It's a bit frustrating but the game is worth it.

Very impressed with the game. This was my favorite game in the old days and now on mobile it's amazing. I was skeptical at first after seing many complaints about having the game on phone was too small visually. The font has the option to increase size so that is no problem. The game has zoom so you can use 2 fingers to zoom in and out on the fly specially during combat. There is no lag or load times which is awesome. I play on a galaxy s8 and the game plays and feels amazing. Must try for sure

Incredible. An absolute masterpiece. I play this on my tablet and there are endless hours of gameplay. Its a great port, runs flawlessly. The only problem is I cant play this game effectively with my Galaxy S8s small screen. The print is small, the buttons are cramped, the characters & enemies are difficult to target. Its nearly unplayable. Well, for me with my bad vision & stubby fingers anyway (great genes! The best! :) Its outstanding on a tablet though. I love it too much to dock any stars.

Great port of a classic game, but it sucks that I don't have the option to move this nearly 4GB game to external storage. My device only has 32GB internal, but I have 512GB external, so it would be really helpful if I could move it out of internal storage. The Beamdog games are consistently the biggest games I have on my phone, and I can only keep one installed at a time because of this limitation. Otherwise, thanks very much for a solid port.

Played this as a kid, but wasn't mature enough to appreciate it. This game is great, and SO big. Playing on a hard difficulty for my skill makes progress slow which I like. The ability to customize the character was low, but the ability to customize the overall game experience is high, more than maybe any game I've ever played. Pathfinding is the only gripe I have, but that's a small problem I got used to. Idk why people complain about the size of text ..I love the port!
