great game, ok app love the game. Have it on steam but it is almost impossible to play this game on the go as it is horribly optimized and drains battery insanely fast to the point where even if you have a new phone it's recommended you just plug it in while you play or you'll run out of battery and the audio still glitches and makes it nearly impossible to jam out while playing

I've been having a lot of fun with this game over the last few weeks. As others have mentioned, portrait mode would be an absolute god send, as I normally play this on the train ride to and from work (easy +1 star). Also, the game does seem to drain the battery rather fast (I'm using an S22+) for a game that's not very graphically intensive. I do realize that a lot of math is happening in the background, but it just seems to chew through more battery than it should. Another easy +1 star!

Great game, my only complaint is the stupid UI bug that leaves a "sell tag" on a card if you accidentally click it too fast or double tap it or something. No option to turn it off, and the amount of jokers ive accidentally sold because of this stupid bug is infuriating. The only way to get rid of it is to completely restart the app. Please fix this, other that that its perfectly functional and insanely fun.

been a big fan of ablation on steam as well, was excited for the mobile port. Almost perfect outside of a few random touch screen errors. But even though I've beaten multiple decks at a few different stakes, it randomly decided to remove everything. I have the deck progress of any deck at a green stake, but I can't update it anymore. all decks reset to no wins and no stakes unlocked at all.

Addictive, and fun but also very frustrating. As a dad with little time to game this game is hard to put down. it's also infuriating when you lose to RNG. The one feature I REALLY wish existing was a replay last round option for when I am really enjoying a build but make a mistake. I don't have time to start over and just want to end on a good feeling. It can disable achievements or w/e just let me redo an round where I mess up. signed casual gamers

great game, frustrating as it sometimes feels like the game will do everything it can to destroy your hand. i know... that is kinda the point, I don't win a lot and don't understand how people do. there are bugs in the Android version compared to iOS. Sound sometimes mutes, I think because of how Bluetooth is handled by Android, perhaps. Also, today I suddenly had a screen on zoom and it wouldn't show entire screen. I didn't change anything, it just happened and it wouldn't change back.

Phenomenal game! This is by FAR the most polished game I've ever played. The graphics, gameplay, balancing, and variety are amazing, and there are literally no bugs. Not a single one! The game even controls better than on PC, which is frankly ridiculous. The only improvement I could think of would be making undiscovered tags look different, because you can't actually tell. An absolute must-play!

It is a simple single-player game that doesn't require internet. Balatro simulates all the fun of gambling without any of the losses. If you like quick and fun mobile games, Balatro excels in both complexity and simplicity, bringing the full force of a roguelite to mobile. This game works well as a port. There are some vestigial sell buttons and access buttons that somewhat hamper the flow of the game whenever they randomly show up, but Balatro Mobile still works perfectly despite this.

Add an option to use pc or mobile controls on both the pc and mobile ports and this game would be perfect. I play this game on the Steam Deck and use touch to play so having an option to play like mobile would be great. A bug I have is that sometimes the cards will get stuck as if I had them selected on pc controls. They will be perma selected with the "buy" button showing on the card like pc. I've accidentally sold jokers once they get stuck like that. Otherwise 11/10

I'll start with my one issue with this game, which is that sometimes the effects are poorly communicated. I've lost multiple runs due to a card's description being unclear. That said, this is an amazing and addictive game especially for one that was made by one person. I've had more fun with this $10 game than I've ever had with most games I've spent $60. If this doesn't win GOTY it's rigged. Kidding, but I really do think this deserves GOTY.

Love this game. bought it on multiple devices, snagged it as soon as it came out on Android, ran perfectly fine, but now they've done something and my Pixel 3XL device is "no longer supported", which is beyond ridiculous. Hopefully the issue gets resolve. Until then I discourage people from purchasing something that will possibly drop support for them a couple months down the road.

The game is amazing, period. As is its creator. Five stars for the game itself and also for LocalThunk. Literally the only problem I'm encountering is that it's a pretty big battery drain (I'm on a Pixel 6 and I otherwise keep background processes and brightness to a bare minimum) and doesn't have any means of lowering animations or quality to increase performance, but hopefully those will come down the road. Maybe a blessing that it gives me some limiting factor and I can't play forever lol

This is a very good port of Balatro. I've spent hundreds of hours with this game on Switch and had to have it on my phone too. So I don't need to explain why this game is so fun. This version runs super well and has made some slight UI adjustments to work better for using your fingers on a screen. It's difficult and basically impossible to get it to slow down so long as you're using a phone made in the past 5 years. Overall, great port and amazing game. Buy it

Love the game but the port has two issues I'm dealing with: dragging cards to be used can break the boundaries of the buttons and it can be hard to complete the action, and when the game is active, it distorts other audio playing on my phone, even if I turn down master volume for the game, making it not possible to listen to music or other audio while playing the game.

Exactly the amazing addictive rougelike everyone says. I've loved my time, and think I'll eventually buy it on PC too for the mods. I've just got 2 little issues. 1. Sometimes the sell or use button pops up on a card like if you hold it, but doesn't go away. 2. I'm not sure if it's intentional, buy unlike the PC version no matter the game speed moving the jokers while the hand is active does not seem to be working for me.

Awesome game, but not optimized very well for a cell phone. I'm running a galaxy s23 ultra and it gets really hot and eats the battery like crazy. Would give this a 5 if it didn't feel like it was going to kill my phone. I tried turning off everything graphical in the settings and it didn't make a dif. Searching online, this seems to be a fairly common problem. In comparison, i can play civ 6 on my phone for much longer and don't see any issues with that, which should be much more demanding.

This game is fantastic, however the mobile app seems to have some issues with slowing down and then immediately crashing. They happen the most if you leave the app for any reason and then come back. But they can also happen randomly as well. It saves after just about every action, so it doesn't delete save data. However it is annoying and prevents a 5 star in my book.

Way too addictive! I was skeptical when my friend recommended it, but it deserves all the awards that it has won. Don't be fooled by the ESRB rating suggesting it's gambling because it isn't. Money resets every game and is not the goal to win. It merely borrows a lot of poker terminology and redefines it all. There are no in-app purchases. This is a classic buy-to-own solo game. Score big to defeat the minimum points limit before you run out turns. It's as simple as that, while very complex too.

I played this game on Xbox Game Pass, really enjoyed it, and decided to get it on mobile to have a fun downtime game. Its very much a game of strategy, and some (a lot) of luck. I haven't even unlocked challenges yet, but it's so fun to build a strategy out of early cards, or try to focus on a strategy you want to try out. It really helps to verbally process out loud what you are going to do, it's very easy to misplay in this game, lol.

Absolutely incredible game. This is so much better than any unmodded mobile game I've ever played and it's not even close. No microtransactions or ads or daily challenge nonsense. It doesn't demand your attention with notifications or battle passes. It earns your attention with its great designs, high variation in gameplay, and just by being so addictively good.
