Buggy as all hell. Crashes mid game. Quite obviously not random dice. When you're trapped and throw the same dice 6 times in a row to remain trapped on a very regular basis it's a bit obvious. Now full of stupid football references as well. Uninstalling in favour of alternative backgammon game.

The rolls are just unreal. Impossible rolls are happening in every game , and it feels like the game picks one player to be lucky and goes with it . I guess they do that to drain you of coins so you could buy. If the rolls were actually random then it would be a decent game .

2 stars for graphics but the overall experience is appalling. The dice throw is definitely rigged sometimes is clear from the plane. Always at the roulette you win the least amount of money. You manage to get to a decent amount of money, then all of the sudden the dices give what the opponent needs for 10 games in a row it's maddening. I reached 2 millions and after a day or two I was watching commercials for 200. It's rigged so that you can buy Zynga money or watch commercials. Cr*p

I've played all of the top backgammon games and the dice are realistic, but not this one. It's crazy how many times the most improbable rolls happen. It's fair since I have benefited form favorable rolls but it's crazy how many times it happens. Also, if you have a piece in prison you will roll double 5s and 6s all day long.

This game is a cheating machine. The combination of dice is unreal. There are certain scenarios where one player gets unbelievably lucky while the other player gets unbelievably unlucky. This does not happen in the real world. The more bold and outrageous one player is the more "lucky" they get. Uninstalling...

Designed to make you spend Money. Every time I get knocked out, 65% of the time I will roll double 6's( which are unusable). If my opponent leaves open pieces very rarely will I get a roll to hit them. On the other hand, if I leave one, they seem to almost always get the correct roll to knock me out. The rolls do not seem to be random as they should. Could be a great app as long as it doesn't cater to those who spend money to play. Maybe I'm wrong..... But don't think so

I don't like how the person you are playing against level is not more the same as yours . Don't like how they make you bet more money claiming "you're too good to play this bet amount" but I am a level 15 playing a lot higher level players. I like to be able to play and have enough coins to do so. Why make me bid at least $2500 +?! I like the way the board looks and ease of play! Over all it's a pretty good game!

Terrible app and dice algorithm. No way it is a fair game. Do the designers of this game even play backgammon or know all the rules? When an opponent doubles you and you redouble during same turn the doubling cube is supposed to stay with you. Also. If an opponent doubles you using all their point you should only lose that amount if they gammon you. If you still have points and opponent has zero, the app will still apply a gammon against your point total.

Horrible game! It's designed to make you lose no matter what you do! You can be a head and the other person will get double 6s two or three times in a row so they can win. Or you'll have a couple sitting ducks (usually due to lack of any other options) and they will get exactly the numbers they need to take both of your pawns out! If you like playing a game that likes to screw you over everytime download this one!

The upgrade is devastatingly awful. FULL of gimmicks/fluff that no serious player wants and play simply isnt as smooth. Most important, when the forced upgrade installed it wiped out friends, record stats, level, and account balance. I would consider this criminal if I had invested significant money in the game. Invested some $ and time though - 10K + games played. Not uninstalling in hopes they correct this travesty. Meanwhile, in search of a game more like what backgammon plus WAS.

It says its partners but I think it's A.I. I'll be winning, putting pips away .Then suddenly it'll give the other player a bunch of rolls with doubles. It does this way too often. It's a way for them to get you to buy coins to keep your winnings down. I'm uninstalling this app. It's unfair. I don't care if they say the rolls are random. It seems very fixed

The graphics and play are good, so I wanted to give this game more stars. Then it froze. A small screen (X2 offer) stayed over the game autoplaying in the background. It happened twice. The first time, I wrote & they told me a list of the normal fixes I was already doing most of. I tried the others. They referred to it as a lag. This wasn't a lag. When I wrote back, the referred to the 1st email. Even if this is my phone's fault, it's no fun to lose because the game can't keep up with my phone.

Horrific. Don't even bother. Its clearly rigged. I played for 2 hours. I'm level 6, roughly 20 games, and not even close to winning. The "real opponent" gets doubles constantly and can move checkers into the zone, even without exact numbers. But I have to wait to get the exact number. Its free and I still feel ripped off. Dont waste your time or money. (This is the first review I've ever written. The game was so bad, I couldn't just uninstall. I had to complain.

I love backgammon but this game is as bad as the other ones as the opponents always get higher doubles and roll EXACTLY the number to knock you off while you never get the ones to knock your opponent off. It's very frustrating!! I had only installed this a couple weeks ago and had about 17,000 coins or so. Tonight there was a glitch, it kicked me out of the game and when I went back in all my coins were gone!! I uninstalled and reinstalled, didn't help! I'm pretty angry about it! I'm done!!

Used to be my best app/game. It's obviously rigged. Opponent rolls a higher start 9/10 times. Always lose, regardless, when eager is more than 5,000 coins. Quite literally impossible but I've counted the last 36 games where the probability of losing was doubtfully. Quads, quads, quads. What a joke!!!

This game is set up to be quick use for the user however it's bs. I can predict WITHOUT FAIL what I'm gonna roll based on how well I'm doing n the game! if ur not buying $ I believe they have the game setup to work against u because if I have lots of $ I roll doubles all the time but if I get low & I'm winning & about to earn $ w/o buying it, I'll roll nothing but 2s 3s and 1s while the opponent rolls doubles after doubles consecutively until they come back & win. I uninstalled

I've played many backgammon games, and this is the worst. There is nothing random about the dice rolls. Expect every game to have ridiculous results. You may win or lose but the game is always rigged to give dramatic results. 1 star is too many. The random spin for coins is laughable. 100 spins and I've never topped 300. The odds on that are near the same as hitting the lottery.

This could have been the best of the backgammon apps if it weren't for a couple of abusive features. Once you've accumulated coins, it forces you to play higher stakes, presumably because it wants you to lose and buy more coins. Also, because of button placement, it is very easy to miss a tab by a tiny fraction thereby forcing you into a super high stakes game, possibly risking all the coins it has taken you months to accumulate. The board action is quite good, but the app's not user friendly.

Things have changed lately. I usually keep high score. Lately, I went from close to 2 millions to near zero in a few days. Points disappeared for no reason and my opponents who some are obviously lousy players got multiple double roles at the end of the game. I believe the app is forcing people to buy points by cheating them.Shame. I am walking away .

The other one star reviews are correct. The "randomness" isn't random at all. The responses from Zynga are that the program is made with a computer but so is every other game. Computers can only perform what is input. If multiple people have the same complaint, it goes to show that the algorithm isn't so "random". It's horrible algorithm for such an otherwise great game. The reviews show there's no willingness from the developers to change but only to blame the "computer" that runs the program.
