Disappointed with my Back Market experience. Ordered 2 phones from them in the last month, but had to return them both. Phones were advertised as "unlocked" when in reality they were locked to a carrier, rendering them unusable for me. That said, the customer service is friendly and helpful. Just a shame about the false advertising I experienced.

The app is good but the market itself is just alright. I've purchased two items from here: a laptop and a smartphone. The laptop came quickly and smoothly, but the phone that came was just the wrong phone. It was not unlocked, it was not the same model I requested, and this return process means I'll be without a phone (which I need for work) another week all while uncompensated for the mess up. Think carefully if you trust a seller before purchasing. backMarket isn't any more reliable than eBay.

I took a shot and bought a phone at a reduced price. The phone looks great and for the most part works great except for 1 little detail... it reboots on its own for no particular reason. I mean I could be in the middle of sending out a text message or filing out a form then all of a sudden BLACK no functionality! Then it turns back on as if it was me who did a reset. I'm not sure if I should take advantage of the 30-day return option or if I should just monitor the situation & pray it goes away.

I ordered a Samsung s21 Ultra to replace my phone as I needed it immediately for work purposes. I found one in excellent condition(basically perfect by their description) and paid extra. I also spent an extra $20 to have the phone shipped overnight. It's going on two days now and the tracking says it isn't scheduled to arrive for another 3 days on Monday. Also, after inspecting my invoice, they decided to send a phone in "very good" condition, despite the fact that i paid for "excellent".

great app for refurbished phones. totally str8 forward, no nonsense, has ratings for each phone, so you know the condition, the app is very easy to use/navigate, and I really give props to the designers. Besides it being an awesome and LEGIT source of less expensive smartphones, the app is literally FLAWLESS. Wish all apps i use to purchase were this comprehensive.Allows you to easily track your order, and see order history, and gives you all the info you need to know to feel confident in buying

I had an awesome experience with them. Everyone was very attentive, patient & eager to answer any questions and solve any problems. .(There was a tiny one and it ended up being on end of my service provider.) Even with that, Back Market along with Simplified Deals were the ones to stay on top of it and be sure that it was resolved. This is my new exclusive phone provider. I'm definitely a fan and a cheerleader for them when given the opportunity!!

Pretty good, just bear in mind...even with clear definitions for condition, the seller may use slightly different interpretations of terms like "fair" "excellent" or "good". I've purchased three items. The watch was in slightly worse condition than it was advertised. The earbuds were like new. The phone was exactly as advertised.

I recommend this app to every one. 1)The warranties are cheaper and last longer the manufacturer. 2) The description is ABSOLUTELY what you get. 3) Returns are super easy, fast and efficient. I have been using Back Market for about 3 -4 years now and have no issues with the products or the quality. I tell everyone about back market, and love to hear when my friends and family have the same experience using back market. Try it, you won't regret it.

Honestly I took a shot in the dark and a good look. They are over charging for used products, that's the baseline. The "deals" I found were pretty expensive not even close to saving on stock or making little resale. A person is honestly better off on a Facebook swap or Craigslist. Even amazon had better pricing for new products compared to some of the used products listed. The platform is easy to use but so is any other major sale application. Very dissapointed.

I have used backmarket quite a few times and I have never had any issues. I always get the products on time in a place where a lot of my packages arrive late. They offer very affordable electronics. You can cut off hundreds of dollars just by buying refurbished. The electronics come in great condition (even the "fair quality" items) and they offer great protection plans. I highly recommend this company.

Honestly, the star system is too vague but, you have to leave one so I did, take it however. I am very pleased with the service however the headphones I ordered (Powerbeats3) didn't meet the mark, which arrived without a power button and won't hold a charge. Shut happens, it's a really old model and I most likely over charged them. I Ordered a different item to replace these and I doubt there will be any issue. If the next ones suck I'll just have to shop elsewhere. Lesson learned.

I have in the past purchased over 3 phones from Back market, however my last experience with my phone is horrible. So I bought a Galaxy Z flip 3 in October, well I had to send that back because it had problems. So I upgraded to a Galaxy Z flip 4 and it was working fine until March (literally 6 mon. later). Because there was yr. warranty for technical issues I sent it bk. Well they didn't honor the warranty. The phone started to turn black where the crease is, as the reviews stated. Don't buy!

The phones have worked great for the most part. When I had an issue one time utilizing the warranty was so complicated I didn't get the benefit. They wanted proof of purchase, pictures of the phone, and something that required it to function, but it wouldn't turn on. I have bought 4 phones altogether. The third one was trouble right away so I got another one. Basically flushed $168 down the toilet due to their return (lack of return) process. The warranty is a pain.

I've only had issues with 1 monitor that I purchased refurbished. It works well for the most part, but after a couple of hour's it will power reset. It comes back on immediately, though, and I've had no issues with the two other monitors I purchased at the same time and condition. I've made multiple purchases at this point and will continue to be a customer. Next purchase will be an even bigger and better multi screen array!

The developers of the app need to improve on the front end of the app. For instance I have been struggling to locate the "other" icon on the app so that I can successfully move some money from the wallet into my personal account but believe you me I can't even locate the "other" icon on the app. I had to go through the website and after locating and clicking on the "other" icon, I seem not to know where the wallet icon is on the website. It shouldn't be hard to read English language

Love this platform, my only recommendation is, I think you should add phone specifications into the description of the phones you are selling, I would like to be able to see what the latest update it's compatible with, and comparison to it's closest competition. I also feel that you should add a "other" option into the answers of your questions on trade in, with the option to explain. Especially for your screen condition questions.

The app functions great and easily navigate but I've bought like 5-6 different phones at different times and had to return them because it's either wrong model, incorrect address input, or something doesn't work with the phone. Shipping is fast if you input the correct address. Only one iPhone was successful and she's in love with it.
