I played this a couple years back and had fun with it, just came back to it just to find I lost my account, no big deal, what's frustrating is not being able to skip the tutorial so I can get right back into building up my fleets again. Yes, I understand that the newbies need to learn, but at least add a "Have you played before?" option for those coming back that have lost accounts.

Rare for me to give five stars, but I really enjoy this one. The artwork is, overall, quite enjoyable, the gameplay is good, the grind when it happens is manageable, you're not overwhelmed by ads, I haven't yet hit a point where I needed to buy the "gem" currency, since the drop rates are reasonable. Only down sides are network stability, which can be -very- finicky if your network is at all laggy or subject to even brief drops, and a few issues with localization. For example, some of the achievements require getting a ship to level 120 - but the EN servers are level capped at 110. So some achievements are blocked for English players. Also, some of the art that cycles through can be . . . a little questionable. (U556 load screen, anyone?) . But overall, this game has been great. Even if the grind for Kaga is wearing me down. :)

Only gatcha game I can recommend. Very generous, you can complete the entire game without paying any money. Save up your draws, which they give you lots of for free, and you can get any ship you want. You can unlock every functional gameplay effecting thing with just the special tokens you can earn in game. There is nothing you need which costs money at any point, and very little pressure to spend. But you'll spend money for the skins anyway because they're cute. But you won't ever be forced!

Good game with much better chance rolling for S ranked characters. Some character skins are great. Gameplay is fun if you play it manually, but it does get kinda grindy when doing event runs and a lot of them waste a lot of time. UI is pretty, but I do wish the character faction is at the 1st character stat screen m so its easier to build team comps. Strangely often times you'll have to click 2-3 times to select an option.

Having played since launch, I'll just say that yes, the maintenances are long, but that's because the staff running the game are on point in clearing bugs when bugs pop up. Unlike other games... *cofGFLCof* What you get: A game with a story loosely based on World War II era naval combat supported by good artwork and music. A fair rate on the gacha components (build pool and crates). Well worth a shot if you're just curious or looking for something good.

The game has cute girls and overall it is fun to play. This is probably the only gacha where you are basically guaranteed to get every single girl in the game even as F2P. Sadly, quality has dropped over time. Gameplay has stagnated for years. The main story/writing is terrible. Shipgirls show up in skins looking like their face and body type changed. Characters/appearances designed for one ship are randomly reused as other ships even with design components pointing at the old ship.

Edit: Vast improvement from 2 years ago!! The screen is not as cluttered. I like the toggle of being able to control the action or have it on auto play. I see that the oil is used a lot more at higher levels as well as the gold. I wish we can farm gold in greater quantities instead of 50 here or 30 there. Lots AND lots of grinding for higher tiered ships, I guess that is expected.

A fun and addictive game that really doesn't break the bank like other gacha games. It has a simple combat system with the ability to really go in-depth if you'd like. The art is amazing and it's always fun to get new ships even if you aren't gonna use them. Only issue I feel is the game tends to get a little tedious for padding sake. Some resources are just a little too rare and you have to go into battles a little too many times to get event rewards. Still very much worth your time.

Honestly my favorite game for my cell. I played the computer version, stay far far away from it. This app has content, story, boatgirls, and cannons for everyone. You'll never run out of something to do, whether it's a skill to lvl up, retrofitting a ship, or another story to go through. the events are also fantastic with plenty of time to complete. EDIT: STILL LOVE THIS!!

I enjoy this game... but there are just a few things keeping me from giving a 5. First, it has weird slowdown on my new phone (didn't on the old one). Second, the grind is real. Then the big one, so many characters are locked behind events. I love the team building... and the grey "can't use" is discouraging. Avrora does terrible things to my OCD. Still, worth checking out if it looks interesting.

I have been playing it for over two years, and it is my personal main game. Cute girls is the selling point obviously but it has decent game play, and with a never ending cycle of events and updates, content is always coming. Only problem I have with it is performance is to be desired. Plenty of frame drops when the planes launch, and general moving around the map. Makes it hard to manual, but auto mode is how I play. Also runs particularly hot on my phone for a 2D game.

Unbelievably generous game with plenty of updates. The art is amazing and the gameplay caters to those who want to mindlessly auto farm, while also providing difficult maps where it can only be done manually initially. I have literally played this game every day for almost two years. It is has become the only thing that has kept me going during these trying times.

Great gotcha game. If not the best due to the vast amount of shipgirls to aquire. It a fun and easy game. Issues: One is the story is disastrously fragmented. I missed the 1st 3.5 years of the game, so it's taken playing some events and watching the anime to grasp what's happening...somewhat. the other is when there is an update through the play store I always end up with a Black screen after updating. I'm forced to Uninstal and reinstall the entire game. Other than that it's a great game.

Fun! I really enjoy playing, and the RNG is not bad at ALL! within 2 weeks of playing, I already had a full fleet of super rare ships! Almost about to wife my first one :P There is just ONE problem with the game that is ticking me off real bad. The game does not keep the screen active, which sucks. Screen can time out if not touched and phone locks itself. This has happened to me twice now by mistake, and it freezes my phone in a dark screen state, forcing me to force restart it. Please fix...

I've been playing this game for a couple years and honestly everything is amazing. The UI is smooth and clean. The characters are amazingly designed. The graphics are great. The skins are crazy good and still boggle my mind how they get away with it. Extremely friendly with free to play players (I know because I am one of them). The amount of data consumption isn't that much suprisingly. The only problem is the amount of beefiness the app uses for storage, but my opinion it is 1000% worth it.

When I signed on, I did not know what to fully expect. Here it is a few months later.. I find my self enjoying it greatly. Compared to what I have seen from the Japanese and Chinese versions, it still has a ways to go. Lots of ships missing..but being added during updates, and that happens regularly. The main events are lots of fun and challenging. Then there are small events and a few hidden ones that are enjoyable and the cut scenes for these have good stories with them. One of the best things about it, it is easy on your wallet ( unless you really want those wonderful skins for your ship girls ) it is not a pay to win game. Considering that I thought I would tire with it quick, I find I am rather fond of it. Fantastic art work, the voice acting, the game play itself.... Its a win in my book! One more thing.. Don't complain about having to much oil (the ship girls use this) later on you will be wishing you had it! AWESOME!

I think anyone who wants a game where the only thing that you're legitimately rushed about is Events, should install this, not to mention it has plenty of things to do, Commissions, Daily Raids, main battle missions and more. Plus the cute ships are another thing. The biggest downside possibly is, that it can be a little bit of a grind, but it doesn't take long for each grind plus, you can come back any time. So I highly recommend it. Sometimes connection is funny though.

I swear I rated this some years ago. But I came back and to my surprise could barely even download it. The space required got a lot bigger. So I came to finally rate I guess (or complain) about that. Game itself tho I mean you collect so many ships girls and guns it is super engaging and I enjoyed it. If like strategy and it was fun to log in late to the game but maximize new and OP ships. Felt like I could jump right in and spent minimal money. Would like to again but ooh well.

I really love the game, really I do. I have another phone just to keep playing it, sadly even with the update to try to make the app not consume much space its still very big. In fact it has gone too big for both of my phones to support anymore meaning I can't play it. If I could suggest it, maybe try to throw it on consoles like Xbox for example. I know and have crosswaves but it doesn't feel the same or bring much on the table like the actual moble games does.

For a gacha game, this is the gold standard of how to do it. It doesn't overly limit you, there's only one premium currency, and it's fairly easy to play without spending a cent. A few issues do come to mind: 1) a little too sexualized for me. It's easy to see it as romantic, but some loading screens still like to be tantalizing, and the skins are clearly made to "impress". 2) every Thursday morning, SOMETHING goes wrong. Either there's an update or maintenance and it's annoying to get back.
