For a fast paced and sometimes very challenging game, I find this very relaxing. Well done. Superb graphics, audio, and gameplay. Game is near perfect. Lost one star because this interface is a step down from the original auralux interface. I can't even pinpoint why. But I have lost more than one game when things were going very well and I accidentally do things I don't mean to do just because I accidentally made a similar gesture for something else entirely. Didn't happen to me in auralux 1.

This game used to be awesome. I made purchases and played other another version. In the meantime, they've changed the controls in some way that makes it unplayable. For some reason it wants to scroll instead of selecting an area. By the time you get it to do what you want, your planet is dead. This game would otherwise be 5 star. Cool graphics, good gameplay, good sound, and good ai. Fix the controls!

I have paid for content on the original Auralux, so I love the game. When I saw there was a follow-up game with more maps, new concepts, and improved graphics, I immediately downloaded it. That being said, the only improvement to the original is the overall look of the game. The touch interface is, however, ABYSMAL. The game registers that you're trying to move the whole screen when all you do is tap the screen, making it almost unplayable.

One free constellation and free trials of all the others. The whole game is $10 and I'd guess could last 10-20 hours of fun. I was struck by how well thought out a lot of the modifiers seemed, and how they changed the game but never broke it. Favorite would be the shockwaves, which add a rhythm to the game, at first you're pressed for defense and then can go on the offense again. Controls were rough to get used to but work really well for mobile. I would like a way to cancel an order.

First game was phenomenal. And I absolutely love this one as well, but the touch controls are much much worse; it's near to ruining the entire experience. I truly doubt I'll put much time into this one. First game's controls were flawless and really led to the fun and mechanics of playing. To those complaining about microtransactions. Who cares, its 2019 and a solid effing game. Just, I implore you to fix the controls

I really love the first one and was excited to see there was a second one. I'm still in the middle of playing it. Everything "just about" is highly improved. Graphics to units, map design, and ui improvements. The only big huge issue I'm having with this game is its controls. Granted the controls are the same for the last one with a new move you can do. But in this one the controls are tricky and unresponsive at times. Sending all units when it wants and having to rapidly repeat the same command

I liked the 2D style much better than this one. I can barely control it as much as I could in the original. I try to select half my troops to set up an ambush, WHOOPSIE! All my units are leaving the defense of the planets and..... there goes my position. I like the prospects of this game, but make it 2d, or make an option to make it so. EDIT: After playing the game a little more, I realized its not as big of a problem as I thought. Still tho, please fix!

Shallower than the first installment. Aura 2 takes away as much as it gives, for the worst I'd say. It takes what it does not need to, and gives what cannot be replaced. The first game has deeper strategy because of how PRECISE your controls are. Certain techniques aren't possible because of the loss of precision. Fewer strategies and techniques result in a shallower experience that is sadly boring and short-lived. Auralux 1 is better.

This a a great game. But something is wrong with the controls. When I select a target, at least half the time it either does nothing or becomes a scroll controller. And sometimes, a tap will somehow select your entire force and send it to the middle of nowhere. I love playing the game, but I've had to abandon the level 3 times now because the faulty controls destroyed my position and I couldn't salvage the damage... Please work on it!

Such a complete disappointment. I loved the first game, and was excited that the graphics are greatly improved. But the controls are horrible. They are overly sensitive, it is difficult to select the star locations, and now if you double tap (which is easy to do) it deselects your units moves the whole screen. It either doesnt send units, or sends them to the wrong location. Didn't even enjoy the tutorial. Fix the controls

Too much is locked behind a paywall. You get 37 levels free, with 13 of those being the basic game. The other 26 levels you can play are split into 13 game variations, with 2 per type. Each variant has 10 levels. There are 104 levels you cannot play without paying. $1 each for two packs, and $2 for the rest. Totals about $24. No thanks. I can buy a better game for that. If it was only $5 for everything, I would have gotten it.

Changed from 5star... Touch sensitivity/controls are very finicky on OnePlus 6T. Selecting units works fine, but the problem is tapping to a new position to move the units. It doesn't register more than 80% of the time...it ends up making a new round selection circle (and selects a new set of units in the process). I have to select then tap several times for it to actually register what I want. I've had to go into slow mode to make sure I can move my units in time. Can't get Nova times. Pls fix.

So this game is basically the flash game "phage wars" which I played extensively in jr high. i love the gameplay and it brought back a lot of memories. i wish there were more customization options and colors to choose. And the tutorial held my hand a bit too much, but I understand why. I don't like that the controls respond to the lightest touches. I find my troops randomly selecting all because one finger hovered too close, causing all my things to fly somewhere unneeded. Leaving me defenseless

I played the first one and the controls actually work as described. opposed to how this one works. It's supposed to be that, if you tap and don't drag it, it does nothing, if you tap and you drag, it draws a circle. if you press and hold your supposed to be able to move. It randomly decides which is going to do you have virtually no control over whether you're going to move your units or your whole screen is going to randomly shoot to the opposite side of the map or randomly change Circle size.

Better than the first. Awesome. 7.2.19 So two years later, I started playing again. graphics are updated [nice]. added the double-tap command [nice]. I need some new classic maps. the different game types are fun, but I want more classic. I will pay for a classic map pack. I will not pay for more stupid supernova or walls etc. help me out!!!! You made the best mobile swarm game. Don't stop.

The controls!! Veeery frustrating and buggy, you circle your units, click a planet, and 4 times out of 5 the wrong spot will be selected. You might send all your units in the wrong direction trying to fix it. Or the circle will just resize and move instead of the planet clicking, losing valuable moments. Dealing with this, I still explored it. The further I check, the less I like it - introduces all sorts of weird confusing stuff later, strays from core. The first Auralux is great, 5/5

I originally gave this game 5 stars because I loved it initially. After not playing it for maybe a year and getting a new phone, I downloaded it once more and have found it's controls to render it unplayable. Perhaps it's my new phone (android S20) but that seems pretty lame that this game won't work now. It's very frustrating to click on intended areas only to have the game do something totally different. All the difficulty is handicapping the controls...save your time and find something else!

Great game. but like the first one it's way too short because he'd have to buy all the extra levels. once again if they had purchasable power ups that could help you on the difficult levels, that would be a better use of my money. I don't like spending a ton of money on these games. but overall it's super fun I just don't like that I beat everything that I can beat so quick that I delete the game couple days after downloading it.

Edit: the controls no longer work. Don't waste your time or money on this for Android. If you have an iOS device, it works fine on there. Really good. The new graphics loo a little wonky sometimes, but they're really pretty. The new spins on gameplay are really cool. I'm glad they let you play 2 of each type. The fog one is kind of pointless, though.

I played this game ages ago and loved it. I've revisited it, and I don't know what they changed, but the controls have gotten to be pretty much unusable. When I have units selected and try to target a sun, most of the time it just changes my selection, and it takes about three tries to get what I select to move where I want them to go. In the past, I got through almost the whole game, beating most of the insane levels, but now I'm so hobbled, I often lose easy levels to stupid control problems.
