pretty fun game.. the complaints about it being too hard or easy both seem misplaced.. you have to pit the ai against each other, but that's any war strategy. each level takes 15-20 minutes to complete, and they seem for about $.50/lvl with only a dozen or so lvls free. minimal reliability, so i don't see the value. (If they added multilayer that might change)

Sequel is pretty much a perfect game. (Sequel has fast-forward mode which is a major improvement) But both are intuitively controlled with progressively challenging levels. Strategy principles are fairly simple but still allow (eventually require) some outside the box thinking. I love it.

This game is excellent, and surprisingly deep and strategic! It seems slow and simple at first, but it requires a lot of decisiveness. I would, really, really like an option to play as one of the other colors. My favorite color is orange, and I would absolutely pay the equivalent of a level pack to play as orange instead of blue.

At the end of the day, I love these rts games. Tjis one definitely is well made visually, I'd say the best I've seen. I would have given it fives stars if it weren't for two things. A. There are very few levels. There are premium levels, but I refuse to spend money on a free game. B. It can be very slow. The time it takes to move units can be very obnoxious, and I feel like it is their way of trying to make you buy a faster feature in the shop.

I don't play many games, but this one always gets me hooked. even if I've beat the level before, each time is a new challenge due to the many ways there are to win or lose. It's like being the commander of your own fleet of warriors, and living or dying by small decisions (do I send half of this planet to colonize the next planet, or is that other planet going to attack soon, needing every hand on deck?). It's a clever game that presents new challenges with each play.

the game is really fun to play, but it's super short. I'll find myself deleting the game and just a couple of days to play something else after downloading it. I wish the maps were all free perhaps maybe one of them two of them for sale but things like power ups that can help you on difficult levels would be a better thing to buy this game. overall it's fun just not enough game to play if you're not looking to pay a bunch of money.

The game itself was really cool such as the concept and even the tutorial and making it through the easy level. I managed to beat one of the medium levels but after that, I felt I was constantly overpowered by green in particular, where red would overstep and then green would attack me and then they'd both be attacking me. Kind of frustrating on that front. Also very slow paced. Not bad just not something I was expecting

EDIT 4/22: I played this game thoroughly a long time ago and loved the overall flow on production/aging of the Dots and the general pacing of the various speed difficulties and challenge levels. I remember wishing that the you could auto assign gathering locations to the Dots instead of having to constantly rehighlight the planets to reinforce key points until you are ready for a big push. Overall I really loved playing most levels repeatedly for better clears or luck in random ai decisions.

It's an alright game. Strategy is good, makes you think, but I personally find the "hard" levels more "normal" or "easy". Seems like 90% of the game cost money $$ so unless you're willing to spend money for the levels, recommend you play a different game quite similar to this. Too much greed. I understanding wanting money, but this is too much.

i have to say that i agree with the many reviews that point out how the game is balanced on the surface, but it boils down to the fact that you are one player against 2 AI opponents, so it's just about trying to get them to fight reach other while you gain strength. i found it frustrating after the second level. It really is a pleasing design though :-\

Pretty cool game, I like the sound effects and the music and it can require a little bit of strategy, too. This game deserves a five-star, only because I've never had a single AD pop up. I didn't buy anything, so there's that! However, the levels are either too hard, too easy or until there's a certain point where me and the game reach a stalemate. Also, it is easily limited by how many levels there are. 12 levels and while it at least provides hints for each level, I'm not sure if they help.

It was alright, problems are that the levels are too easy or way to hard. We breed slower than the bots and the bots get suns faster than we do which is completely unfair. The bots orbs are faster than ours too. It is a cool game with a great potential but right now it needs the help. I just keep replaying the easy ones at this point. I can't surpass the others it is too hard. Its really slow paced too, which is not preferable. 30min. I spent on a level just to lose.

The game itself is simple and enjoyable, but the difficulty scales too extremely. Easy levels are far too easy, while hard levels are almost too hard. I have yet to complete an 'insane' level, and some of the difficulty lies in the fact that your given color doesn't create modules nearly as quickly as the enemy colors. I don't recommend purchasing the add-on levels and just enjoy the simpler portion of the game.

Auralux is a wonderful, real time strategy game. Very reasonable priced levels. A very big library of levels. Different challenging ways to play, change difficulties, speed mode. Over all just a great game. With a fantastic replay value. And they also have auralux 2 as well. .. hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the years. One of the greatest game purchases I've made.

This is a simplistic RTS game that is very fun and addictive! Game comes with a decent amount of maps. And sometimes it can get very challenging which is great. I beat all the maps available within a few so hours. The map packs are only 1$ and I think each one comes with four new ones. Maybe more. One more thing that makes me give it a 5 out of 5 all the way. NO ADS! I plan on buying the map packs to support the developer.

Great game, each level takes a decent amount of time to beat. Limited number of levels for free, but there are no ads, so it's understandable. I wish they would give a better description of the paid levels or a big bundle for smaller price. This game just doesn't seem to differentiate each level enough to Warrant the purchase of a level pack. Due to no ads, I think a $2.99 price point is fair, but not for a couple levels I'll beat in 30 minutes, I would need continued new additions of levels.

While I would have to classify this as a Real-time strategy game, Auralux plays differently from any other game (out of many hundreds.) I've seen. The pace is slow and methodical, yet a moment's hesitation or a second - guess can cause a chain reaction of failures that might lose you the round. The controls, while simple, can cause a bit of frustration at first, but may be learned quickly enough.

Great game. Easy to understand but hard to master. This is the only game I've come across (in Android, so far) that allows for detailed strategic thinking to overcome your opponents. In some game patterns, the best way to advance is not always by a simple frontal assult but by sneaking your "troops" around to less-defended sun's behind the enemy. And if the other colors are paying more to each other, let them battle it out between themselves whe you grow in strength, etc...

I like this one cause it is slow paced and is more about strategy. Update : Changing my review from 5 stars to 1., not about the game, but that I purchased additional levels and I didn't get them. I purchased and was charged for several additional level packs and they were the wrong ones. Not the ones I wanted. And no way to go back and request a refund. Have fun playing the free version. But if you buy it you won't get what they advertise.

This and auralux 2 are some of the best movies games I've played. Ad-free, customizable faction, plenty of levels, and challenges to beat the developer time are really fun (though I still can't beat some even with a guide! Fun to try though!). This is one of the few games I've spent money on, so that I could get the expansion levels. (And well worth it especially since anything good that's also ad-free is a rare jewel these days!)
