I truly love the NKJV Audio Bible App. The scriptures of course are unbeatable. The ease with which i can look up scriptures by book, chapter and verse goes with out saying. Yet, as a person that has been afflicted with (MS) Multiple Sclerosis and the disease has caused problem with my memory and my thought processing; to the point that I can sometimes recall scriptures and sometimes I only can remember a few words of the passage! I plug those words in the search bar and find what I'm after!!!

Love the dramatized version! It really brings the Bible to life. Prior to the uodate this would be a 5 star rating. Don't care for the most recent update. I listen while doing TBR which sometimes skips around within a book and after the update once you click a book, ie Psalm 57 and then need 70 you can't back out to view all chapters and have to manually forward through 58 to 70. Also seems like there are more adds and some you can't skip after a few seconds.

I love this app. When i don't have time to actually read i can listen to the Bible through this app. Not only that , ive been trying to read the Bible in a year and was having a hard time. So now i listen to to it as i follow along in the Bible which works out better. Also it helps me to memorize, if i don't understand i can go back and keep listening to it....which also helps alot.

Superb Bible app. I love the dramatized and voice-only options, which do not sound robotic or read through speedily. It is well put together and the voices are clear and at the right cadence. I am especially pleased with the repeat opton that allows one to replay a chapter as long as one wants: this helps with meditation. I find no other bible apps with this option. I did not find any other apps that come close to this one. Just superb. Thank you!

This was a solid 5 Stars app but now 2 or 3 at best. The audio constantly buffers and does not continually play, regardless of what device or connection I use, when it actually works. Other times it give an error obtaining access? I would pay for this app to remove the ads and have it work. I prefer the AMP but this is equally accurate, unlike my previous beloved NIV and more recently discovered NLT, both with key verses missing.

I like the different voices as it keeps my attention from wandering as much. Main thing I didn't like was that the reading wouldn't start where I left off last time. But this could be user error or due to my phone. I didn't lower my rating because of it. Anyway, I need to reheat the Word often anyway. Thank you very much and God Bless you!!

It is not that easy to figure out. I wanted to be able to read the words as they scrawled on the screen, and hear it read finally figured out that you have to push the readable choice, then push the name of the book, which will bring up a list of chapter numbers. When you press the book, then the chapter, then it will read it aloud while it Scrolls. You need to push the up button at the top to about 2X before it will scroll fast enough to keep up with the reading. Hope this helps, then is good

This app would get a 5 from me if it kept a record of the chapter that I left off on. I have a poor memory, and it can be tough to remember where I left off the day before. I'd also like to see the app keep records of all the books that I have read so that I can personally keep track. All I can give at this moment is a two, but as soon as you implement those features that I asked for, I'd gladly up that rating to a 5. It almost sounds like Alan Rickman is one of the narrators. Nice!

It is wonderful in both the dramatized and nondramatized settings. I love that I can turn it on and my spirit gets fed, strengthened, and comforted, my faith is strengthened, my awe of our Lord increases. Even if I'm distracted for a bit it keeps reading His Word calmly. It also has beautifully artistic verse notes that can be posted elsewhere. Great for encouraging others. There are many other options available for getting to know God's Word better. Beautiful ap. Highly recommend.

I love the app but lately it keeps giving errors and cutting you off. When you're listening to it, sometimes only one chapter. Maybe 2, then an error will. Then you have to force it to stop and redo it all over again. So annoying, but I love the app when it's working properly. Been listening to it for over 2 years every day and just recently all these issues.

Love this app. I do have an issue with the fact that you can't download the audio to listen to when you have no service and it doesn't save your place, so if something happens, you have to find where you left off. Other than that, it's a great app for the audio bible. Beats some other ones that would bug out on me, but are more mainstream apps.

I really like the audible it's easier for me to read along and understand.. but there's major problems with the app freezing.. where you're unable to pause and/or some of the scripture gets completely erased.. I'm hoping this bug gets fixed and soon.. it's upsetting to have to back out of the app just to bring it back up for it to do it all over again..instead of being able to concentrate in the word. Almost a year later and the app still crashes 🥺

It's a good app, the commercials only came as a made a selection they never came while I was enjoying my selection. Went ahead and bought the removal of ads for 9.99 though I think it's a lil high as it comes with no other extra features I see. For what they are doing it's an awesome app though, it's only been buggy once out of 100s of uses.. However if I could make a request of the devs it would be an auto play feature so if I select a epistle and fall asleep it would play the next Epistles.

*Update* Most problems have been fixed now. Ads require you to close them twice to go away & are annoying, but app is well put together. 2 audio options are "Non-dramatized" audio (AI sounding computer voice) & "Dramatized" audio uses the "Word Of Promise Audio Bible" Was produced over 10 yrs ago featuring 600 Hollywood actor voices (Jim Caviezel as Jesus) and symphony score, soundtrack & sound effects. You can read the full Bible and select "audio playback" while you read with auto scroll.

I love this app. I've put myself to sleep with the audio bible for 4 years. Just this week the app shuts down and says error. I've noticed this ✝️ next to the app icon. This could be from an update on their end. I can't find any contact info 😕 for the app to try and fix the problem. I've also paid to have the ads removed and that didn't fix the error issue.

The app is good, but it doesn't keep your place where you stop. The only thing I do not like about it It needs a bookmark to mark your place of the vocal reading part. I like to listen to it while cooking or doing stuff that I can't focus on reading. Im gonna delete and find a different app, most likely. But I do enjoy listening to it, especially with the dramatization added. App would be perfect if it had the bookmark.

There are way too many ads. I use this while im driving, but I have to remember where I left off because the app doesnt retain where I left off....I think it has a feature to remember where you left off but the ads mess it up. This makes me wonder if the app was created for the love of $$=root of all evil. The dramatized version is what I use and it is pretty good once I get started. There are ads when opening the app, selecting the book, chapter and an add constantly on the bottom of screen.

I'm happy that I can hear the text of the Bible, but also enjoy the dramatic sounds it gives; it makes me feel more immersed when reading the Bible. What a great enjoyment while learning and studying! When I'm in one of the books and a selected chapter, for example in Psalms 40, it doesn't let me choose another and jumps back to 40. I don't know if it's a bug. It also for some reason, when a chapter is completed, it stops and then skips ahead to multiple chapters. Sometimes it kicks me out.

I've been using this app for years. It's super solid. It does what I need. Update 01/24 There has been update that have fixed issues like audio not playing, broken images, and I was able to restore my advertisement removal purchase. The user interface also has had small update. This is app is getting better over time. 3/24 there seems to be a bug with the verse of the day we're ita showing the year 1960.

edit... So no one ever responded to my request to fix the bugs I have been experiencing and now the bugs are worse. Now when I tap on a book to read, it just sits there and spins. If I go out and come back in , I have to watch an entire 30 second ad and then it still just spins. It's apparent that you are not going to fix this app or else no one is managing it at all. So I am uninstalling. Very sad bc this was my favorite audio Bible app!
