Record to Listen Later
Audials records entire broadcasts on demand, or saves the stream with automatic song separation. You can play the music or broadcast again later, even when you are offline.

No ads, no in-app purchases
Audials does not display any banner ads in the app, nor does it play commercials.

However, some broadcasters earn some money by playing radio advertising. Through advertising services, English advertising sometimes even runs on foreign language channels.

It's up to you as a listener:
Do you like a radio station and do you want to support its producers? If not, just search for a similar, but ad-free radio in Audials.

I don't like the new layout! I used to be able to type 50's music and a bunch would come up. But that all gone! Otherwise the one station I listen to constantly buffers. But when it works. This app is great! Stations are hit n miss. Update 1-18-22 Now it won't let me delete old programs! Have to completely uninstall the app to do so?! Wth??!! For that problem, I'm deleting one star!

Great, finds shows tune in radio doesn't, downloads their podcasts, records, scheduled recording, needs a couple jump forward/back 30 seconds buttons and/or preview when trying to slide to specific time, currently shows time you forwarded FROM until you lift your finger, meaning you have only a rough idea where you'll end up. This is hard when you're listening to a 2+ hour podcast.

The 9.3.2 update took away the one awesome feature that distinguished Audials from other radio apps - the display of audio file type (codec) and bitrate in Search and My Favorites list. It's why Audials was my favorite radio app. Now it's only visible in the Now Playing info card/banner. I'm willing to pay for this important feature. Can you please bring back codec and bitrate display to Search and My Favorites lists?

I been using this app for over an year now. Up to now I'm getting "error connecting". This is the first time I'm getting that error. I have the latest version. One of the best apps that I downloaded on my phone. Please fix. Update. It wasn't the app itself. Instead the WiFi was the issues. After getting WiFi fixed, I haven't got any errors.

although this app is generally good for just listening, there is a real big problem for recording. Many cases, recorded program disappears after you stop recording. But sometimes it is okay. When you have such problem, there is no way to save the recorded portion safely before you exit. I'd really like to know if there is a way to fix this problem.

I have tried nearly every musical app without exception and audials has turned out to be one of my favorites and maybe for sure the best I've seen, not only does the free program gives you hundreds of thousands of stations from around the world the paid gives the ability to record individual tracks and replay on its own player which also gives you many options for playback and the podcast has to be the best so I'm very happy and well pleased

Nice app when it works. Unfortunately if your phone connects to a different source (e.g. wifi), it loses its mind and plays "Geico asks..." instead of your program. Once it reconnects to the show, you've lost one or two minutes of your program. Normally ads are synced and handled well, but not when switching wifi and/or mobile data.

Nice but needs massive improvement.car mode should be simple one touch and it is not. Have to restart music anytime phone has notification. Have to wait several minutes for app to sign in. There is no need to sign in. Favorites should just come right up and it should be one button touch. I should not have to spend three to five minutes to start playing music Constantly hitting reload. And waiting for the app to get itself ready. There should also be a way to add Radio stations manually.

I love this app. Lets me record late night talk shows. I can finally get some sleep and listen the next day. Great selection of stations and podcasts. Fast switching between stations. Easy to use. Minor glitch when exploring a podcast and then backing up to the master list it starts at the begining instead of where i last was. Rough to scroll to where i was with so many. Great program overall.

Audials has been a favorite for finding all types of great radio coming from colleges all over the USA. They have made it more difficult to search for fm stations from 87.7 - 92.7 fm for instance. They expect someone to know the call letters of a station they haven't discovered yet. Good tip is to find a station you like, then search that station for a higher quality. All in all it's a better solution to music on the go than anything out there!

I've been using this daily for well over a year I guess, to listen to and record a specific radio show every weekday. It's done a great job for me, but the reason I really stopped by is that I spotted the new sleep timer enhancements and UI changes, and I LOVE them! As I listen to my show I typically have the phone in landscape mode (which looks a LOT better!) and I have the sleep timer going, but depending on whether I remember to start listening at the right time or not, the sleep timer with the hard-coded times was more useful sometimes than others. Kudos! General comments: things I like about this app - there are tons of stations on the app already, but if you have the URL of a stream that isn't there, you can add it to the app. If the broadcaster sends song titles, when you are recording the app will actually break out the songs into individual named files for you (awesome!) I also love that the app natively supports Chromecast, so I can listen to my music throughout my house via various Chromecasts and Chromecast Audios (RIP)

Works well , but please work on the player. The interface is too small. It also needs 30 second jump forward and back buttons. Most importantly it needs to remember where you stop listening in a recording. It starts over if you pause and close the app. BUT, this the only app that I've found that actually allows timed recordings of radio so give it try!

Love the ability to schedule recordings, works perfectly! I would like to be able to schedule multiple recordings, but when I tap on the button to upgrade, it sends me to a link to purchase a PC version for about $60. Not sure how that upgrades the Android app, and that seems quite a bit to spend for just one feature. I would pay $5-10 for a pro version in the Play Store with that one feature. EDIT: Thank you for your reply, I get a message that says This Item Isn't Available in Your Country

Love being able to stream radio on same app i uae for podcasts. Decent functionality but UI definitely not ready for prime time. Button locations beg to have you skip to next or prev cast in your list when you're just trying to skip back or forward a few seconds while driving. Gave it a month. Instead of getting used to it, it just pissed me off more.

Have used this app for about two years now and the bugs I complained about in my original 2018 review were never fixed. Instead, it's gotten worse: Streams cut out after a few seconds, every single time. This renders the radio function useless. Podcasts still play without having to press "play" over and over, so that's nice, but this streaming radio mobile app is mostly useless.

I am amazed! I love European radio stations, not knowing which ones, easy to find it all with this app! This gives me fresh music to hear that I don't already know, saves on my data plan too! It really should cost more ; ) Update: I still love this app, lately I am noticing it frequently will cut off the end of a song and move on to the next song in my offline recordings. I use the cut up each song feature. Is this an app bug, that can be fixed? Or maybe it's cutting off because the radio station did it to the song?

I'm used to Spotify so this is really horrible but there's two podcasts that I can still listen to on here they're just not updated. At least it doesn't crash like Spotify and it's not blasting with ads but it's really hard to find any programming. Not a lot of features. It will not continually play songs or a podcast go to the next one you have to open the app and select the next chapter to get it to play. The radio stations are every single one is nothing but ads.But it's better than nothing.

If you want internet radio and podcasts, this app is an excellent choice. It has lots of features, works reliably, and is free. The interface is somewhat busy and requires a little learning time, but the that's true of many other ambitious apps. Overall, it's a winner for sure.

On home page in simple mode, you have to click on the number next to Favorites to show your stations. They should show by default so you don't have to stumble to push that tiny link. Please fix. On song playing, artist name is microscopic compared to song name. Either make it the same size so it's readable or make font size adjustable by user.
