Compared to the iPhone version this app is useless. If I wanted to look up pt info, that's about all I can do. No copy a pt's phone number to dial in doximity. No prescribing, ordering or even adding info to an open pt case. Many areas say use AthenaDesktop ...why even use the app? I opened a support case w/ Athena, they advised me to update the app and make sure I'm using Android 9 or higher. Yes I am. I'm just so surprised this app is so low functioning. I might keep my iphone

It only seems to work in VA. I work in Florida and it won't let me change the practice to anything else. My colleagues use this app on iPhone without issue, very frustrating

Please God, can we have the ability to take screenshots of the app. I can log on a computer and I can take a picture of the screen. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to screenshot a finding or a lab result or something else so that I can send it to a patient or another colleague. It is immensely frustrating that this is forcibly disabled and there's no way to fix it.

Would be nice if it automatically switched practices entering the chart of a patient who is in a different practice/department than the one you are currently in. current behavior is if you're in the wrong practice it shows the patient in search but then says the specified patient does not exist in that department. Not sure what purpose this behavior serves.

I'm sitting in my doctor's office right now neither she nor I can find the information that should be on the portal. It seems to be a waste of time and effort to go to a site like this portal to get information that you should be able to get directly by email. I can't see the advantage of it I'm not able to share this information with other doctors so what's the purpose

What an absolute piece of work. I use it mainly to check out my schedule but it logs you out in 2 seconds if the app is not being used. The login process it's not much easier than using the website and requires no less than three or four taps, not supporting biometrics.

Absolutely horrible and nonfunctional on Android. I have been with Athena for 10yrs, moved to another EMR for 3yrs, and returned to Athena. Athena has made no sincere effort to integrate on Android. My other EMR is flawless on Android. I agree with other reviews. My group pays Athena around $13,000/month. We are small but not voiceless. We use multiple operating systems: Mac OS, iOS, Android, and PC. Time for Athena to listen to its customers or become obsolete and be replaced by progress

I'm confused. Does this app do anything besides let you view information? That seems to be all the app does. My understanding is that the IOS app has significantly more functionality. In my opinion this app was released before it was ready as it adds very little in terms of utility.

First, they take multiple years to create the Android version and then when they finally do produce the Android version, it is severely limited and has none of the functionality of the iOS version. What good is seeing my patient cases if I can't respond to them?
