Waaaaaaaay too many ads! I literally can't spend 10 seconds on this app without ads popping up. Why not just make this a purchase-only app of you're so desperate for ad revenue or so determined to make someone so frustrated to the point where they HAVE to purchase the app to remove the ads. It's sad, really! Also, the athan never plays despite trying every setting the app allows, making sure the sound is on athan and not beep, making sure the default athan was on (from Makkah), etc.

Not what it used to be Used this for a while. I could bear with the bombardment of ads they began to do but now they just slowly stripping away features that were free and all of a sudden its a "premium feature". Switched to iPray app. No ads, clean interface, and more customizability. Hate to leave this up but just couldn't deal with the new approach.

Used to be a great app, but now seems like the developers are desperate for funding and because of it are digging the app's grave by flooding it with ads everywhere. No widgets in the ad-filled version. I understand ads are needed for generating income but having this many ads is counter-productive. You cannot open the app without hating it for so many ads, at the bottom of the screen where you would select options and within a few seconds a full screen ad with volume on. Uninstalling it now.

Best religious and Islam app by far! Nothing compares to the functionality and usability! The UI is fantastic and the adds are only mildly annoying. Near flawless, couldn't ask for more! UPDATE: Years later, the ads have become more and more intrusive to the point of them making the app a challenge to use. Worst of all, they now constantly are of disgusting Facebook ads of women dancing to pop music ☹️ Astaghfirullah, I'm done with this app, currently looking for a halal alternative.

Very good app. Would appreciate if you could develop it for the Amazon Fire tablet, since tablets have a bigger screen so it's easier to read the Quran and if we are able to sync across devices then it would be easier to always use the app, which I want to be able to do. Having to rely on the small screen of a phone isn't always comfortable. Thanks for the effort though.

Never have I seen an app displaying ads twice every minute. Yes you read it right. 1 full screen ad with music every 30 seconds. I would've gladly purchased the app as it is very helpful and beautifully made, but I decided not to. This is because advertisement bombardment are of an epic nuisance level. I've also seen scantily clothed women popup in ads. This review stays till the devs fix the issue. Request for donation instead of unfiltered ads every 30 seconds and ad strip in the bottom.

Overall I like this app. I agree with others about the ads, if you are in the app at all for too long an ad will start playing, which is unfortunate when you are trying to read duas or other info inside the app. I also wish it had a feature for sisters to consciously pause/disregard prayers during the times we are unable to pray, versus the reminders and pausing indefinitely that you get with the app. ETA: frequently I do not get a notification for prayer times until 20 minutes later

Great app, beneficial and very educating. I'm only giving 4 stars because there is an ad before I open each and every dua translation. Also, there are too many random ads in the middle of reading quran. It is very frustrating. There were never this many interruptions with ads in the past. I hope you take it into consideration because it loses one's focus while reading quran/duas. Thanks

Started out great, but now just good or okay. I've had this app for a few years and it was great initially. Sadly there are too many ads to be able to use the app. I've tried to buy the premium version twice. Purchase confirmed, bit it reverts back to the free version. Hopefully the developer (s) can improve on the product and fix the few issues with ads and payment for premium version.

Provides everything you mashallah plus alot of reminders and dua's . Although I've been using this app for years, it's got an increasingly frustrating. It is unable to get my location if I go to a new city, even if I try to refresh it, it doesn't work. Reinstalling it did not work, that compounded with the ads, it's time to move on.

I have used this app for years and loved it. The latest update turned the widget option into a premium feature, so I can no longer see the prayer times on home screen. This is extremely inconvenient. If this doesn't get fixed, I'll have to look for a new app to use. There are also way too many ads on this app. Most of my other apps don't have this volume of ads to even open the app up.

It's amazing and they keep adding more features. I like their Qur'an reader interface, it's pretty nice. I would advice to spend like $2 so you can get it without ads. The ads can be super annoying. I have enjoyed it much better without ads. One critique I have is with their categorization of duas, I feel like it's a bit disjointed. All in all though, wonderful app. May Allah grant the developers Janatul Firdous.

If anyone remembers, it was one of the original apps that was developed even before the smartphones were invented.(In around 2003 for ur PCs). And it has evolved for the better and it is still the best app out there. It has everything in one place for all the muslims. From Azans, to reminders, to notification, to setting goals and help keeping up with ur daily prayers and much more. I have paid for the premium version because the ads on this were too many and too distracting.

It is better and cheaper premium than other Muslim apps. Reasonable price for premium because I fed up other Muslim applications full of annoying ads and high price premium. at least Athan free version has less annoying ads. But I prefer without ads and support them. Also I reach out the support for some issue they reach me out and fix the problem. Thank you

Loved this app. Have been using it for years. What I don't like is the adds. We are Muslims and we don't deserve an app with adds that have music. That's being shoved down my throat. I'm in the masjid and when the add starts it's like a disco. Not cool. Islamic finder I've been using your app since the beginning. When you used to get on the computer to see prayer times. I know you need support to keep the app going. Adds are not the way.

Update: will not let me restore purchase..they need to fix this. It is a very good app, simple to use and understand. It also has Quran on it and a lot of duas to memorize or recite. I use it all the time and I am pleased with it. There are picture ads and video ads, just press back to skip it. May Allah guide us all.

Very useful app. You can listen to and read quran. You can log and track your fard prayers for a week at a time. Lots of translations and fonts. Sheikh Mishary on the recitations. A variety of athan choices. Its good for a free app, and they have more options with the upgrade purchase. (Edited to a better review and added the 2 missing stars, because the support team solved most of my problems and listened to my feedback)

The Athan app is a blessing in the digital age. Its simple design is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to use without any defects. It helps me stay accountable and ensures I pray on time, which is invaluable. I'm grateful to live in an era where apps like Athan exist to support my religion Islam. One suggestion would be to include a feature that allows users to magnify pages and zoom in and out for enhanced readability.

When it works it is great! However it is a bit glitchy. The menstruation mode rarely works properly. I alway have to put the start date of my period multiple times, and even then it decides that my period is over for me. The alarm for prayer only goes off if my media and ringtone volume is turned up, so if I've turned my ringtone down for an event or meeting and forget to turn it up, I will not hear prayer alarm. Would be nice if it would override the phone volume and have it's own volume.

The application is impressive, but the excessive advertisements and the interruption of the azan when touching the screen or adjusting the volume are problematic. This issue seems unique to this app, as other similar apps do not exhibit this behavior. We kindly request your assistance in finding a solution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this concern.
