It used update the prayers each day but now it's stopped working. For example, if the number of prayers was 720 and you log in the 5 prayers for the day, it should go to 725 and it used to do that. Now after you update it, it goes back to 720 and even 715 instead of moving up. The following day, it does the same thing so its stuck and no longer updating. It's been like this for 2 weeks. I checked the settings and FAQs to see if there was something there to help but nothing so HELP.

Not a bad app. Has lots of features, but I have 2 problems. The full screen ads are super intrusive and force the user to constantly close them. I bought the no ads package purely out of frustration and not from any inclination to help a Muslim company. The second problem is why is the seconds timer on prayers not synced to the minute? I saw that I had 34 seconds left then BAM fajr. C'mon how hard is it to sync that? There is literally code built into the platform for this kind of use. Use it.

Very disappointed that the widget which has been a staple of my use of the app has become a "premium" feature available through paid subscription only. I would have been willing to pay a one-time fee to purchase the app's premium features and to support the app's developer(s), but a paid subscription for something that has always been free is not something I am willing to bear. Time to look for a different athan app that doesn't charge for essential features like widgets.

If anyone remembers, it was one of the original apps that was developed even before the smartphones were invented.(In around 2003 for ur PCs). And it has evolved for the better and it is still the best app out there. It has everything in one place for all the muslims. From Azans, to reminders, to notification, to setting goals and help keeping up with ur daily prayers and much more. I have paid for the premium version because the ads on this were too many and too distracting.

Assalamualaikum. My family & I have had this app for quite some time and it's the best by far. Simple to navigate and use the settings. Several different features and options to choose from. The layout is nice and easy on the eyes, with really good graphics. It's great to get little positive messages and reminders that pop on your screen at just the right time. This app was truly put together thoughtfully and with much love and care. You are appreciated. Thank You ☪️ Alhamdulillah ♥️

It is an amazing app except for the fact that there are WAY too many ads, they keep interrupting when I am trying to read duas. Every time I click on something an ad plays and it's extremely irritating. I like that the ads are about starving children because it helps spread awareness. Other than that problem the app really helps with improving my life! Thank You

The widget is getting weirder. It doesn't resize at all and the different sizes don't actually do anything meaningful. Also it still doesn't update to emphasize when the next prayer time is. Plus there isn't any feedback when clicking the reload button so I'm not sure if my gestures were registered. Also, tapping on the widget used to open the app but it hasn't done that in a while. It would be nice if that feature returned. Feature Request: early prayer time notification

Very good app. Would appreciate if you could develop it for the Amazon Fire tablet, since tablets have a bigger screen so it's easier to read the Quran and if we are able to sync across devices then it would be easier to always use the app, which I want to be able to do. Having to rely on the small screen of a phone isn't always comfortable. Thanks for the effort though.

Overall I like this app. I agree with others about the ads, if you are in the app at all for too long an ad will start playing, which is unfortunate when you are trying to read duas or other info inside the app. I also wish it had a feature for sisters to consciously pause/disregard prayers during the times we are unable to pray, versus the reminders and pausing indefinitely that you get with the app. ETA: frequently I do not get a notification for prayer times until 20 minutes later

Used to be a great app, but now seems like the developers are desperate for funding and because of it are digging the app's grave by flooding it with ads everywhere. No widgets in the ad-filled version. I understand ads are needed for generating income but having this many ads is counter-productive. You cannot open the app without hating it for so many ads, at the bottom of the screen where you would select options and within a few seconds a full screen ad with volume on. Uninstalling it now.

It's amazing and they keep adding more features. I like their Qur'an reader interface, it's pretty nice. I would advice to spend like $2 so you can get it without ads. The ads can be super annoying. I have enjoyed it much better without ads. One critique I have is with their categorization of duas, I feel like it's a bit disjointed. All in all though, wonderful app. May Allah grant the developers Janatul Firdous.

Great app, beneficial and very educating. I'm only giving 4 stars because there is an ad before I open each and every dua translation. Also, there are too many random ads in the middle of reading quran. It is very frustrating. There were never this many interruptions with ads in the past. I hope you take it into consideration because it loses one's focus while reading quran/duas. Thanks

Provides everything you mashallah plus alot of reminders and dua's . Although I've been using this app for years, it's got an increasingly frustrating. It is unable to get my location if I go to a new city, even if I try to refresh it, it doesn't work. Reinstalling it did not work, that compounded with the ads, it's time to move on.

I have used this app for years and loved it. The latest update turned the widget option into a premium feature, so I can no longer see the prayer times on home screen. This is extremely inconvenient. If this doesn't get fixed, I'll have to look for a new app to use. There are also way too many ads on this app. Most of my other apps don't have this volume of ads to even open the app up.

Never have I seen an app displaying ads twice every minute. Yes you read it right. 1 full screen ad with music every 30 seconds. I would've gladly purchased the app as it is very helpful and beautifully made, but I decided not to. This is because advertisement bombardment are of an epic nuisance level. I've also seen scantily clothed women popup in ads. This review stays till the devs fix the issue. Request for donation instead of unfiltered ads every 30 seconds and ad strip in the bottom.

Started out great, but now just good or okay. I've had this app for a few years and it was great initially. Sadly there are too many ads to be able to use the app. I've tried to buy the premium version twice. Purchase confirmed, bit it reverts back to the free version. Hopefully the developer (s) can improve on the product and fix the few issues with ads and payment for premium version.

Not what it used to be Used this for a while. I could bear with the bombardment of ads they began to do but now they just slowly stripping away features that were free and all of a sudden its a "premium feature". Switched to iPray app. No ads, clean interface, and more customizability. Hate to leave this up but just couldn't deal with the new approach.

The Athan app is a blessing in the digital age. Its simple design is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to use without any defects. It helps me stay accountable and ensures I pray on time, which is invaluable. I'm grateful to live in an era where apps like Athan exist to support my religion Islam. One suggestion would be to include a feature that allows users to magnify pages and zoom in and out for enhanced readability.

When it works it is great! However it is a bit glitchy. The menstruation mode rarely works properly. I alway have to put the start date of my period multiple times, and even then it decides that my period is over for me. The alarm for prayer only goes off if my media and ringtone volume is turned up, so if I've turned my ringtone down for an event or meeting and forget to turn it up, I will not hear prayer alarm. Would be nice if it would override the phone volume and have it's own volume.

The application is impressive, but the excessive advertisements and the interruption of the azan when touching the screen or adjusting the volume are problematic. This issue seems unique to this app, as other similar apps do not exhibit this behavior. We kindly request your assistance in finding a solution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this concern.
