AT&T is knows this app will not unlock EA1002 Maestro Max AT&T phone. This app is an AT&T SCAM. AT&T APPROVES device unlock request, with instructions to "use the unlock" app in phone to unlock phone. I believe it's been over three years, skank AT&T WILL NEVER UNLOCK THIS PHONE. Due to monopoly of big three telephone companies, LACK OF CHOICES, I am still paying for service with AT&T thugs.

Will not unlock prepaid device like attended to. Been trying for the past 3 months to get my phone unlocked even dealing with Customer service and still no luck. I pass all the qualifications and Because of this issue my family of 8 and I will be switching to another carrier that doesn't literally hold you and your device captive to their service after spending a remarkable amount for each device and finally the owner of it yet they still take advantage of you.

The app just crashes on every open. I've updated, removed and installed again, same result. Can't unlock via website, it forces you to unlock through the app, which doesn't work. Garbage app from a garbage company.

Tech support says my phone is eligible to unlock. Paid for and I have had 4 years of service. I opened a case 2 weeks later still not unlocked. Tech support told me millions of user have the same issue. Mass exodus from AT&Ts network and service. AT&T is trying to stop people from leaving. Their online site was intentionally broken to keep people paying monthly for the service.

So I switch my Sim card over to this android device and i had to unlock th device. I've pressed the restart button serveral times but it doesn't seem to work at all but when I press restart later it works. I know I'm tapping the the restart button. Ive restarted the phone by manual reset and my data still doesn't come on. So I'm rating it one star. Please fix this

I'd rate this a ZERO if I could. Pre-installed on the phone yet phone not supported. After almost TWO YEARS and multiple calls to tech support my phone STILL ISN'T UNLOCKED. After having AT&T service for almost 20 years I think I'm going to switch.

This app should be an option not a preloaded installed app an one day I hope they will design a phone where pre installed apps does not count against you I just want to be able to get a new phone turn it on set it up an before ever downloading any no contacts no pictures no nothing an go to setting click storage space an it say 0usedi nstead of half your memory storage used for pre installed app

well let me first say that I do not enjoy giving a poor rating to an app however this one surely deserves it. 1 star. that's it. why? because this app does not work. no matter how many times I open it and reopen it nothing happens. uninstalled/reinstalled and still nothing. website just tells me my info incorrect when I try to unlock that way. ridiculous. fix the app and give me my unlock code and I'll change my rating.

Doesnt work on any phone i have. AT&T advertises "bring your own phone, Any phone" but fail to twll you they have several that arent on their network list. I even looked online and found a couple on their lists, used this app only to find out i bought phones they didnt "contract" with. After 11 years with them, im switching carriers. They acted like thet didnt care at all. Loyalty is lost.

I tried many times to unlock my phone through the app. All failed. Said the info wasn't the same. I ended up going through protective and seems to have worked. Hopefully. Going to new provider after decades with AT&T. Service is bad where I live in the country. Lose signal. Drop calls. Went through 3 new sim cards just to get Service back. 0 stars worthless app. Terrible service. Hope I can unlock to go to another provider

This app just appeared on my phone for no reason. This phone was not locked when I got it, so I really have no use for this and didn't install it. The reviews saying that messaging doesn't make a sound or tell us we have notifications is true. My morning alarm no longer makes a sound and I have checked all those settings. Thought my phone was just old and cranky until I was checking on my google play apps and saw that this was "updated" 2 days ago (the same time the trouble started)

Going in circles of "you can't access this without your phone being unlocked" "you have to submit an unlock request" "request denied you have the app you need to do it from there" over and over and over again. Automated system won't connect me to a person, all AT&T does is piss me off.

Everytime I click on unlock, i get the red banner up top that says ,"oh no! Something went wrong. Please try again later." My phone is a prepaid phone that I've had for years. Everything else says it's eligible to be unlocked but I can't get past clicking the unlock button. This sucks because this app was supposed to make it easier but instead makes you wanna throw your phone.

If I could give a negative amount of stars I definitely would. I bought my phone outright with cash from Wal-Mart and can't do a device unlock. When I try contacting AT&T I'm met by people who can't even speak English and are also very condescending...when they can't even understand the questions that I am asking. Why am I being spoken to in such a condescending manner because they can't understand English?! Awful company. Quit outsourcing, there's plenty of qualified Americans. 😡

I have always had att service,love they service, never had customer service issues. However I strongly feel that att manufacturally installs stupid,pointless apps,doesn't work, already has the same exact settings in the manufacturing settings like the smart AT&t Wi-Fi what's the point when I have a Wi-Fi button manufacturing on my phone?? don't need. AT&t STOP with the apps already in manufactured settings. It's using my storage space

The app works perfectly on my phone...however please be aware that you will need to know everything about APN settings, mms settings, and everything else due to the fact that the customer services representatives for this company know absolutely nothing about a hole in their shoe. For anyone who has issues with switching carriers: turn WiFi and Mobile Data OFF, do a simple network settings reset (not a factory reset), turn phone off, insert new SIM card from new carrier and fire it up. Adjust APN settings to your new provider/carrier, save, and restart phone once again. Turn on Mobile Data after restarting phone and you will then see the carrier has been switched without having to "unlock" using an app.

Why would you AT&T prepaid put this unlock app on a phone that it will not work with. When I tap on the App it immediately crashes instantly. This description says it works with my phone but No it doesn't work at all. My phone isn't even listed on the phone list of phones therefore it shouldn't say this works with your device when in fact it most definitely does not. I don't think this app should be on my device it's taking up my space. You can't remove it even. SHAME on You AT&T!!
