The WebStorage service is great and the price of plans is great, however this app has serious issues, most importantly it doesn't automatically backup my photos like it says it does, and yes I have the option enabled in the settings and checking every hour, it created the folder but never uploads anything. Secondly it doesn't allow automatic backup of chosen folders, that's very unfortunate, you must manually upload the files you want to backup. Overall this has its uses for some but not for me.

Just paid to get access to a decent amount of storage. Uploaded a whole lecture series to save space on my phone, but now, I can't play them from cloud. Please fix ASAP, as this is an extremely basic issue that should never happen in the first place, with a reputed company, and also defeats the whole purpose of having a 'PAID' cloud account. ‐--------------------------------------------- Just got verification from ASUS that .avi video extension is not supported by them. This is really bad.

User interface/experience, when managing with voluminous files is not good. Quite buggy and annoying as well. Please fix it. Areas: i store my photos in the cloud. Whenever i open an image and press the back arrow key, it always goes back to the start of the page. I have a couple of thousands of photos. Everytime, I have to scroll down to reach to the previous file location, which is quite annoying and frustrating... the same issue, when i download the images/files from the cloud to phone...

This is probably one of the single worst apps I have ever used. It's unstable, unintuitive and buggy. Fails to upload the most simplest of files like photos and videos from my phone. Its user interface is lacking tons of basic features such as "select all", like what storage service doesn't have a select all button. Its far to expensive, customer support is a joke and overall just avoid this like the plague. I want a refund but with how poor there service is I probably never see my money.

The UI is lacking some key elements... Sorting items by type should be included, multiple selection while searching by name. MySyncFolder... All photos and videos from phone transfered and the size/space used still doesn't show up, 0kb. The same missing tools, problems are on the browser version too. I hope the app will get an update. I just upgraded to 1Tb and was excited to use the app and it's functionalities.

Was working I've had it couple years. Today I was logged out and now the app doesn't work right after I upgrade to the 2T plan. I want my $89.99 back this app is trash

Why folder name cannot insert space and other symbol? Worst latest update. Bug occurs. Slow, cannot upload or download using cellular.

As of the latest update, naming (or renaming) files or folders no longer accepts spaces within the name (although dragging and dropping still allows such names). This is a problem for me.

Mixed feelings. Good enough cloud storage service. But doesn't feel as smooth as other popular ones. Not a fun of the umbrella back up of pictures without being able to choose which directories to include. I got a subscription because it was on offer, not sure if I would be updating when it expires.

Horrendous. Tried uploading several several times after paying for the 2 year 1 TB deal. The upload failed every single time after using up much of my ISP data. Tried the suggestion of uninstalling the app, restarting phone and reinstalling app. That didn't work either. Complete waste of my time, data and money. I have asked for a full refund, but have not heard from them yet. What a scam. Update 7/13/20: The merchant is stalling and will not issue immediate full refund.

Asus, not liking the permanent notification informing me "camera upload is working" at all times even though I'm not uploading anything. I understand I've set it to sync etc but I hate notifications taking up realistate 24-7 in my drop down bar. Also note, folder functions in the app aren't clear as to which ones sync vs backup only. Yes it's spelled out clearly by name but I see evidence of other folders falling under these rules that aren't labeled as such?

Amateurish attempt. No way to upload whole folders without manually creating the cloud folder yourself and then selecting all of the files in your device to put in that folder. There should be a way to select a folder on your device to upload the whole folder. Pressing to hold is a terrible way to select files. It takes longer to hold and select than to simply have select boxes to check off for multiple files. I did better programming than this in my community college Java class. LOL

a low-cost service with a low performance application. the Windows apps well not remember your login not registered as a service on your computer so it does not remember your uploads what's your computer to sleep or shut it down. web interface uploading does not work well is that all 4 multi file upload. works okay if you only want to upload one file at a time. Android app has no ability to set storage locations other than default folder locations

If I cannot select folders and their sub-folders and files to upload then why would I use this app? As it stands right now, you have to manually create the folder tree for each folder and sub-folder that contains files you want to backup within their app and then select the files within those folders on the device you are backing up in order to back them up to their cloud storage. You cannot simply select a folder tree and have everything contained within that tree backed up ((creating a mirror of the folder tree). Asus needs to scrap this app and start over and this time around they need to hire a few people that know a thing or two about backing up to cloud storage. Their current developers obviously do not understand even the most basic needs of users that want to backup selected parts of their devices storage.

This is your warning. Been inboxed by asus web storage over a yr., and finally the cost was so low i tried it. Surprise! It's not fit for any level use. Installed on 3 computers, 2 would not sync. You must gather and assemble 12 points of data/parameters/etc. in order to open a case, which is far too much effort. Not even worth FREE. Put me on the payroll, and I will continue using it, and submitting problem tickets. Oh, and the app? Primitive, limited, clunky. Not the review I wanted to write.

I got the 1 TB storage option because I had a promotional offer. Haven't tried all day but I couldn't get it to complete even a small amount of a backup without crashing. I've cleared the cache/data, reinstalled, and restarted my phone. Nothing will work. What's going on with this? Just constant crashes and it's starting to bug out my whole phone.

No frills cloud storage with unreliable camera upload until last update. The customer service is NON-EXISTENT even for the paid version. I am not going to renew my service, because I have sent them dozens of emails, and they have not responded once. I just want to know how to upload pics from different phones to separate files. An older version had this feature. The updates destroyed that. Response to ASUS feedback: CHECK your emails. I HAVE sent you many emails asking for help.

Any attempt to open a file results in a "failure". It worked when I first installed it two months ago. Update 12/16/2021: It's better but there are still issues opening certain file types. Excel files are causing the Asus app to crash. Pdfs open but the viewer chosen is terrible. I think the app it trying to do too much. Google drive just downloads a local copy and opens it with the default app. Thanks for continuing to improve the product. Update:. Version 3.10.0.1 prevents me from logging on.

I have an ASUS laptop which I am very happy with. However, the ASUS Webstorage system has to be one of most confusing and user-unfriendly software accounts/applications I have ever encountered. Among other crazy elements, from time to time within supposed English interactions, I encounter Chinese labels on selection alternatives and touch buttons. Links within the system often lead to completely unrelated pages, often with no way to get back to what one was trying to access.

The app has improved. However, because I'm using this app mostly for documents, I find it annoying and extremely inconvenient that it opens the PDF files using its own program, which is incapable at best. The page is really small and the zoom function only zooms within that teeny tiny frame. Totally unusable. You still need to download the file in order to view it, which is very inconvenient.
