I deleted the app and reinstalled. It has nothing to do with GPS! The app quits. Love it! USED TO.... Not sure what happened but around the 10-mile mark, it just stops. I ran a half marathon and at 10.9 miles, blank screen and no more voice cues. Cleared cache, nothing helps. This has happened several times. Not sure if it's because I use my camera on the runs, lose cell service, or other apps interfering. SUCKS!!! I'm trying to get my run times down and I have no idea. Please fix!!!!

I've been using this for two years and a month ago my miles for this week started showing up in the prior week. Reinstalled, cleared cache...no solution. Also, some times it takes several minutes to open a screen. Update: 5 years into using runkeeper and it's much more refined and works well. There problems I had in the past are in the past and have been resolved.

Tracks sporadically. Mileage off by up to .35 of a mile on the same run. Sometimes freezes at the beginning of a run. It keeps offering me to upgrade, but I'm missing my goals 'on paper's due to poor mileage tracking. I can't get excited about paying for something that isn't accurate. Lots of potential, and useful for a free app, but I need to know that it will work properly to pay for the service. Update: Audio stats no longer work, and there is no way to report an issue from the app.

** STILL not working. this is ridiculous!!! Since mid September the app has stopped tracking mid run - which is VERY frustrating. I never had this issue in the past. I keep having to have the screen on and even then when it refreshes it is not calculating distance correctly. This is a vital feature and throws off distance and pace! I have been using this app for 6 years and really don't want to have to switch because all my history is in this app but it's getting really frustrating!!!

This app keeps all my records and it's easy to operate. For some reason the audio queue is not working. Looked into all the resolution offered (all notifications are on and all the volumes are up) but I still can't hear any queues. Took away another star because the routes are pointless. You don't see the trail while you run, which doesn't make sense if it's a new route.

I used to love this app, but I just can't stand the way it handles audio. Even with the audio stats turned off, the app makes a sharp, painful clicking noise into my headphones periodically during an activity, even with headphone volume at a reasonable level for a podcast. When I have tried audio stats, it's always so much louder than my music or podcast, to the level of being painful. It's almost as if the developers haven't really used the app.

The app is buggy again since a couple of months ago. I would start a workout. Then I turn my screen off or go to another app. When I launch runkeeper again it shows me a blank white screen. I have to hit the back button for my current workout to show. Sometimes doing this will also cancel my workout abruptly without me actually trying to end it. I've deleted the cache and reinstalled the app. This needs to be fixed.

Won't even let me log in. The website has me confirm cookies, then takes me to the email preferences, then back to the cookie confirmation in a permanent loop. The app asks me to log in, which I do, and then it takes me back to the app and spins forever. I've cleared cache, storage, reinstalled. Nothing. Totally worthless as it is now, and since the site is broken as well, this service gets the absolute lowest rating possible.

This just started in the last few days. Activities are not syncing correctly, I cannot see them online even though it says they have been sent to Runkee per. I add someone I walked with and it doesn't show up on their Runkeeper and when I leave the activity and go back in it is ready to 0 people I completed it with. I uninstalled and reinstalled and several activities that were there in the app, but not online are now gone.

I enjoy the map view of a run/trip. That's all, of the whole thing. They will send you lots of email messages. Update- signing up via email fails. I have tried two different email addresses. I have tried on android, Windows. On Android app, Firefox browser, Edge browser. Over the course of two months. Failure.

Love that you can track your shoes with this app, this way I know how many miles I've put on my street runners, trail shoes and treadmill shoes. I dont like that in the free version you can only compare the previous month to the current month but not other months. I do like the different voices you can pick from without downloading one.

I'm a fan of the app - I use the free version. It works for what I need it to, which is just tracking runs. The one big complaint is not being able to edit my runs later, if I made a mistake logging data. As well, GPS tracking of distance can be spotty at times. Overall i enjoy the app and will continue using it.

I have been using this app for years and in general am quite happy with it. I just do the free version. My biggest complaints is actually the lack of more common feminine issues that can be marked when you note that the run isn't great. Would love to see categories like 'hips' and 'pelvic floor' added to the lineup. Or for all -- 'mindset/mental'. These issues are more impactful in my running than the options currently available.

I have no clue what is going on with the Runkeeper app but its performance has significantly degraded over the last several months. The app is updated on my phone. I press start and the app won't respond. I try to close the app and it won't "allow" me to. It takes several attempts to get it started correctly It worked for my first walk this morning then on my second walk when I started the app I got the blue field with the logo on it and nothing happened. I am SO FRUSTRATED !!!

This is the best run tracking app ever. I never have to use money nor are there any adds to interrupt, you can use Spotify while running, there is a voice (that can be turned off) that tells you your pace per mile, your time, and how many miles you've ran. It even tracks were you go using like Google maps or something. you can even keep a journal thing(?). I really recommend this app and it really made me want to take up running again.

I have been using this for over 10 years. At first some of my runs had some slow spots for the GPS but in the last few years it has been absolutely perfect! I have tried most other exercise tracking apps and this is for me the easiest to use. While you are running or biking you want everything to be large, clear and easy to use. Sometimes you may accidently lock your screen or need to go fix your music app, RunKeeper just makes everything to get right back to without missing any tracking!

This AP is awesome. It keeps me motivated so I updated to elite. Worth the money. It's a great app but as soon as I upgraded to the RunKeeper go and keep shutting off and not tracking my progress when I'm trying to keep a track of the miles that I'm walking unless it's fixed I would really like a refund because it's not worth the money I'm going to have to keep going back to other apps to use and exchange with this one

edit activity doesn't let you edit anything useful. I accidentally entered 148 miles instead of 1.48 miles, and there was no way to change it. I tried clicking edit activity from the summary page, but the only thing you can change is how you feel about the run and other minor things. Ultimately, I had to delete the entry and just reenter everything. A pretty big oversight for something that is supposed to keep track of your runs.

Excited for these app updates but... They don't work. I love that I can set such granular timers, but no matter what I do it won't make noise to alert me when I move from one interval to another. And no matter how often I tell it that I ran in any other set of sneakers, it resets to my default. It's interesting progress and I'm hopeful that it will be a better app, but so far it's just frustrating. I'd also love fewer interrupting suggestions about challenges.

As of late I get message that app is not responding properly. Overall I am pleased with the app, but it's frustrating when i get that error message. And sometimes when it finally "works" it does not keep track of calories burned. Seriously, a 3+ mile run/walk and no calories burned? 05/11/24 - The last few months it hasn't tracked progress on challenges. Asks if I want to join even though I've already joined at the beginning of the month. Very
