They removed the ability to save images apparently, so effectively useless for some references & wallpapers. UI is clean with some customization (gallery view) but not smooth to navigate. Quite slow to load the page I was previously on when going back, or the main feed when it's the same stuff.

I really like the site on desktop but on mobile the app is so irritating to use. Every time I try to go back into the main feed after looking at a piece, it logs me out, like it thinks that was the page before. Makes its really frustrating to navigate constantly trying to remember not to go back with a swipe or the most obvious previous button on top left screen.

Theres so many problems with this app. Its slower than a snail, you cant zoom in on an image, it shows the same artworks on your feed 3 times, shows you got notifications but when you click on them the mailbox is empty. It is just extremely glitchy. Works 1000 times better on a browser. Only rated 3 because i love the artworks of many artists on the app but the app itself is dogsh

Update: MAY 2024 2 factor authentication seems completly broken right now. When trying to log in on a new device no authentication requests are being sent, but I still get logged in after about 10 minutes. This is a significant SECURITY RISK!! App frequently logs you out, and has unintuitive UI. Collections on profiles dissappear randomly. Its also much harder to find good art for inspiration and reference with all the Ai garbage on it. A sad state.

Trash. Just installed and it has lots of problems. First annoying about the timezone while setting the profile (it's in another setting), now asking to verify the profile but not telling how (email already verified). Update: everything must be done via web browser! And uploading pics works only with the recent ones without any selection! Useless app.

Artstation mobile is overall okay, but it's missing two key features: 1. The ability to edit existing comments in the app. 2. The ability to see the entire image caption below an image like what can be seen in the mobile version of the website. With those two minor issues cleared up, it would be as robust as the website.

Ever Since I began to use this application over 3 years ago, Its always had sever issues with performance and consistency, as well as broken functionality, the UI and UX never really bothered me that much, but despite the updates its the only thing they have improved everything else remains, unchanged unevolved, and now the application even refuses to launch crashing almost instantly, can't even reach the login screen.

Love this app. The latest update has a really bad bug right now. I clicked an art Submission link from the notification menu and it started an infinite loop attempting to open it. Now the app is stuck that way and I have to restart the phone to get out. Please fix! Other than that I'm on this app everyday. Amazing art work.

Pretty rough that pinch to zoom unzooms once you let go. As annoying as on instagram. Why can't we swipe between works when browsing the community? iPad app has it. Edit after update: 5 stars. You can now swipe between works! Edit again: when going back to browse gallery after looking at an artwork it always goes to the top. Your place however far down you've scrolled is lost. Edit again. Everything is great. Full stars now.

I like the app. Don't me wrong I do, there is potential and I like posting my art on here. But it takes ABSOLUTELY FOREVER to upload my work. I have great connection, everything is up-to-date, I restarted the app and my phone just in case... I did everything I could think of to resolve this issue. It's ridiculous.... It literally takes such a long time to upload my pictures/art. I hope this gets fixed to soon. And I'm curious if people are dealing with the same issue.

Nearly unusable. Like, follow, and add to collection only work sometimes. Looking at artists' profiles and general searching only display 25 works at most (literally always only 25, no matter what you search). The add to collection button is so pixel-precise that you often miss and accidentally tap the post. On top of that, if you tap a post it can't remember where you were before. Hitting back will just start you over at the top of the feed. It's honestly a shame, the artists deserve better.

It's great for its purpose, looking at art. Otherwise kind of annoying and unintuitive. For example, the "like" option is colored, and changes to plain/colorless when used - the opposite of what you'd expect. So it's easy to unlike something thinking you're liking it etc. Notifications are annoying because sometimes they want you to log in(why aren't I already? I DESPISE when apps log me out) and then it just takes you to your regular feed. What was the notification? Who knows?

Hardcore, professional version of DeviantArt. The downside of this app is that it does not have a number of features as the desktop version. Also since the latest updatez they removed the view count and follower count in the main profile menu. I am not sure why they decide to remove it, but they should put back like soon. Otherwise, very good app.

Overall I enjoy having the app on my mobile device, but the upload feature is completely broken. I like to save my art to the cloud so that if I don't have time to upload while I'm working I can do it on the go. After selecting the images I want to upload and selecting next the app crashes every time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't change anything

I like the Artstation app, and I've used it and the website for the past few years to browse through a treasure trove of inspiration. The latest update to both seems to have shaken up the functionality, as before I was able to browse through feeds and user profiles seamlessly and the app would remember my place at all times, but now clicking a post and then going back will start you over at the top, very frustrating. On top of that, posts and even user profiles often simply will not load.

Often feels like every new update introduces more issues. Can't swipe left and right to browse between posts now, have to press the back button and manually select something else now. However, pressing the back button introduces a weird issue with the gallery where images will repeat themselves as you scroll. Even liking a post now requires me to scroll all the way down. Love the website, but the app is incredibly clunky.

As of 2.5.37, I am not happy with new "improved" browsing experience. It's terrible! Bad enough it still tends to fail to load properly when you tap a notification for new submissions. The previous design was much better! Tapping a submission should show the whole image and easily scroll through the gallery, not zoom in and make you work to see it! It's not Pintrist for crying out loud!

1 step forward, 3 steps back. Just installed again after several months. Great interface updates and they finally fixed the bug that closed the app when going back to a previous page. But now in the following feed selecting a work might send you to an entirely different work by a different artist. In both the home and following feeds, going to an artwork page and then going back to the feed will take you back to the top of the feed, not to where you last scrolled to. These are basic UX flaws.

I can't use it until it's fixed. I can't follow anyone. The button doesn't work on any of the screens where it shows. I can't check my notifications, which, after artstation notifies me that I have notifications and then I go to check and that button also doesn't work.... I'm done. Sorry guts. Artstation is otherwise fantastic so I'm hoping the app can get updated.

It shows me the last 5 projects 3 times on my feed. I tap on one of them to view it and it opens another project several images above the one I tapped. I zoom in, the pic gets cropped and if I want to see the rest it opens another post. can't post images properly, thumbnail options not available, can't add images to an existing project and I get signed out at least 3 times a month. I'm deleting this app and using the website instead, it's fully functional and it actually works.
