An excellent mobile ark experience featuring ark's original map the island. controls can be a bit hard at first, but that smooths out over time. Ads are mostly optional, short, and usually ends with a reward. This is a great game to check out if your new to the genre or even a seasoned veteran. Anyways, I'm about done building my base, so back to it. Happy hunting.

It's fun to play. However, unless you have a really good phone you chop alot and get kicked often even on the lowest settings. Also, the game saves are not practical. It will save, then 10 seconds later save again. However, at times it won't save for over 20 mins forcing you to manually save. Also, if you get kicked after a quest completion and forget to save when you log back in the quest is gone and so is the reward from your inventory.

The game is absolutely amzing. Too amazing. So amazing, it crashes my phone whenever I open a game with creative mode. I suppose that with online there is too much stuff that it crashes. I can't reload save games. It loads, ten seconds, and gone. I feel that you should strip a few things out. Not to the point where it is damaging. Or maybe just optimization. Don't get me wrong, I love it.

Great overall experience. I only play single player. In-game sounds of some player actions like weapon attacks, seem to randomly stop triggering after a few minutes of playing (seems like after the music cue chime of mid-day of morning). They come back sometime later. Other than this, it's good. Also wish Bluetooth Xbox controller was fully supported to play like xbox version does (inventory is still only touch screen and only some controls work and are clunky).otherwise, a lot of fun.

I wanted to wait and give this some time before I reviewed the mobile game, and I was right for not getting excited and jumping the gun. One main thing that REALLY ticks me off is the ads. It's absolutely unbelievable, I constantly accidentally tap and them and it's impossible to skip the ads sometimes. In a few cases I was automatically redirect to the play store. LOTS of other issues that I can't fit in this message, but to the games credit, this is literally Ark on mobile devices.

The game itself isn't bad, of course a lot of the dinos had to be dropped, the graphics of course are dropped down, and it can be a little laggy on multiplayer. Which is expected for such a large and complicated game. The controls are a little dificult to get down, and riding on flying mounts takes a lot of practice, but my biggest complaint is that when on a flying mount in multiplayer, the game is has MASSIVE lag spikes. Please fix that, it's not fun to deal with.

I really like playing this, but I have had my single player data not load twice now in as many days. It starts me up, but freezes before I can do anything. I was level 20 the first time, and level 45 this time. After the first time I started using backups all are doing the same thing.... EDIT: It seems to be the ad that tries to pop up is glitching out game. I wonder if I spent the money to remove ads if issue would stop but no expert. Edit 2: Bought primal pass to remove ads works fine now.

I've had the game for a couple months now and its been great!! However once I bought somethings within the game the sound has just completely gone away and I've tried Uninstalling it and re-downloading but it does seem to work. Over all a great game though! Update: I recently got a new phone and now the app won't work at all and I've deleted and re download it multiple times and it won't even open.

If there were drawing distance options in the video settings, like you would expect there to be in any other survival game, then I could honestly say that this is the best survival rpg I have played. EDIT After almost a month of tolerating the game's crashing when in the jungle, or generally when there are a lot of entities in the area, I have uninstalled the game entirely. Many people are having this issue, and until I see a major improvement that benefits the community, I am not re-installing.

This game is amazing. As far as mobile games go, just fun and exciting. The only complaint I have is what everybody else complains of: Half the time my saved games corrupt. The screen freezes when entering the game and I have not been able to recover it. I have had to completely start over many times, despite an effort to save frequently. Please fix this and I will give the 5 stars that this game deserves.

I dabbled in this game on console, and was pleasantly surprised with how well it translates to mobile. I adore this game and find it easy to get immersed in it for hours. That being said, frequently, when i try to open up my offline account the game freezes up and wont let me do anything. The only way ive been able to fix this is by reinstalling, which ive done twice now, causing me to lose progress. Seems like a lot of others are having this issue. Hoping it gets fixed soon

Usually mobile ports are garbage. This one is astoundingly good! I play it with a MOGA2 controller, and it works nearly flawless. There are some things I would add and edit when it comes to controller functionality, like letting you use right trigger to place an item, and allowing an option to turn off constant attack when you press the trigger. Otherwise this game is fantastic. Coming from someone whom enjoyed ARK on both PC and Xbox. Thank you for this port!!!

Genuinely upset that the game does not run on my new phones. It does nothing but crash to black screen and then close when I try to start the game. I've tried multiple fixes to no avail. This was a main time-killer for me and my wife when we went on vacation without fast or any internet. It's been almost a year since an update, but as per usual, Wildcard likes to deliver content and not fixes for an unoptimized game. I really like ARK, and this is disappointing. Get it together, guys!

Started freezing upon loading my single playing save, the same as a lot of other people. It will only load up successfully if I turn my wifi off prior to loading my save. Once it loads, then I'm able to turn my wifi back on, but it's just a bit annoying. Problem with loading seems to have fixed itself. It no longer has any problems aside from the occasional crash every once in a while. No problem though, especially since you can have three backup saves and a cloud save.

Primal pass is a listed as having permanent benefits, buts it's a subscription. We apparently disagree on the meaning of permanent. Ark is a great game, I've enjoyed the windows version immensely. Now I'm seeing ads when signing in. That's new. I didn't mind the unobtrusive ads before but nothing says a good time like waiting 40 seconds for an ad to finish before I can even play. Overall I enjoy the game but the subscription model is a joke. I'll pay $34 for a game, fair enough, but then I should own it, and not have to pay again.

I really liked the game. Played it all the time. I play it on computer and the phone, the phone version is easier to maneuver for me. The big problem is any Samsung s22 phone, once you load the game it instantly quits immediately after you try to launch the game. I would give it a zero if I could until they fix this bug. But I have did some research and I am not the only one with this problem. If you have a Samsung s22 phone of any version, don't waste you time.

Updated 5/29/24: Having issues with some weird strobe effect around my base. The radius is getting wider the more I build my base. I'm currently in single player mode, but I'm not sure this is the issue. The effect is actually coming from the structure until I'm close and then I have to look down, then back and it's okay until I go back out again. Did this before the update, and eventually had to uninstall the app because it started crashing every few minutes of play, or return to base.

I played the game back in 2020, and recently started playing again. They added in a lot of new features that make the game a little easier to enjoy, in my opinion. If you've played any ark games, you know mostly what to expect. I do enjoy that they have dungeons you can run for some exclusive dinosaurs. If i could add one single item to the game, it would be giga kibble. Currently, the only way to get an eerie giga is thru multiplayer. They are unobtainable in the single player version.

It's Ark for mobile with all of the problems one would expect from such a project. The sound effects drop in and out, and the game crashes randomly after playing for an hour or so, this seems to be the result of a memory leak. Mobile controls aren't great, but I'm not sure what could have been done differently. I'd use a gamepad if I had one, though. Overall, 4 stars. It's fun, it's playable offline, it doesn't have many issues, and none are game breaking. But there are annoying bugs.

I love this game, I've been playing it for about 2 years, maybe a bit more. The problem is that it's been completely abandoned by it's devs! It's very laggy, and no, it's not my device, there's no updates or fixes for it in a very long time. It's awesome when it does work, but the devs seem to be so into making the console and pc versions work, that us mobile users have been left hanging, it's sad really, specially for those of us who prefer the freedom of mobile games like this one...
