This app used to work great. I've used it for years. It no longer works with Android 10 on my galaxy note s20. I've found I can get it to "work" by not allowing AppLock to appear over other apps. But you will see the icon asking you to give it that permission whenever you attempt to open a locked app. If you don't click on that icon to see the message, the app seems to work as expected. If/when the app is fixed I'll upgrade my rating. I may find an alternative in the interim.

This app works exactly as stated and delivers more than you expect. I needed to find an app to lock away my Ring app, because my daughter was getting on my phone and seeing gifts and such (things she did not need to see) that I was bringing home. It worked perfect, and I was shocked to see just how many times she attempted to log into it (it also has the option to snap a photo when you enter wrong pin). It works beyond well and was exactly what I was looking for (and more!).

I bought the paid version and it's much better. The problem is, your fingerprint lock isn't always registering my fingerprint when I try to unlock an app with it. I usually have to click on either the clean or battery button on the top right of the lock screen, then close that window and try again. It generally reads my finger the second time. I need this glitch to be fixed. I paid money for your ad free service. I would like to be able to open my locked apps more easily and quickly. Thank you.

I've been using this app for a long time. Really like it, and it works great. Love all the updates you've done through the years. I lost my password and can't seem able to reset it, I go through all the Google authentication process and get sick in the last step.... The app just gets frozen. It's an Samsung S9 plus, how can I get help! UPDATE! I was eventually able to get it to work when Google have me the option to use the offline codes built into the app. Everything's back to normal.

This app is a messed-up mix of ads, annoyances, and useless features. When I first installed this app, it was so useful I actually paid for one of their plugins. Now there are ads for every single thing you do. When I open a locked app, there's a clickbait ad for how avocados cause eczema flareups. Heaven forbid I want to move a file out of the safe, because then the app plays a video ad that takes me to the appstore when I try to click past it. Closing the video cancels the file transfer. I still had good memories of this app, so I considered going premium, only to discover that instead of a one-time pay like the earlier plugin, I would have to shell out $20 a year for a premium version full of stuff I don't want. Why can't you just lock my apps?

I had to change my rating on AppLock from 5 stars to 2 for an important reason, here's why. As the months have passed, the app has gotten slower and less responsive. Many times, it has not worked, failing to block apps or not starting up after I turn my phone on. Additionally, there are a lot of exploits that I found that make the app virtually inefective. It's not a horrible app, it still works often, but I'm disappointed overall.

Really cool, works perfectly, you can't simply uninstall it, defends in real time, no delay. It has a very simple interface with basic but strong locks. Amazing for convenience and it also has fingerprint reader for everyone who's also looking for that; makes it way easier to unlock and faster, so you don't have to sit there and write your whole password or do your pattern (which i assume it's hard) everytime you simply want to just use an app quickly. I totally recommend it.

Super annoying. I have used AppLock for as long as I have owned a smartphone. Unfortunately I won't be using it anymore as I just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S23 and the loud video ads that pop every time I unlock an app is simply too much. Seems I had to download a new version of the app and right away the ads started. I lock too many apps, functions, etc. and I'd drive me crazy to have to sit there looking or having to lose every ad every time. It is free but it's not worth it to me.

I have always thought this app was great. It does everything I want it to do and it does it well. I had the previous app version and had subscribed with the annual subscription which is good through November 2nd this year and when I uninstalled that and reinstalled this new version, I lost access to premium features. Also, saw that instead of the $5.99 I paid for the year last November, the price is now $11.99. I feel like I've been ripped off! Update... Refunded. Thanks for that!

I only gave it 2 stars because, I had this app downloaded for YEARS. It worked phenomenal! I had it on a timer, to turn the locks on and off.. Super easy to use. Just worked great. Then, sometime over the last few months, I noticed that the timer didn't work. Okay, so I was turning it on and off manually. Now? It doesn't lock a thing. Extremely disappointed. Useless... uninstalled...

I've used the free version for years. Somehow hadn't been updating for several versions, but my fingerprint wasn't working, so I recently updated. Everything is working again, but the updated version is much more invasive with its ads, including allowing sounds to play and no way to mute them. So, I have to choose between locking an app and not being able to open it when I need my phone to stay silent or keeping an app unlocked because I need to be able to access it any time.

Not getting most basic functionality. Not a problem with the app, but for some ******* reason every time I connect or disconnect a Bluetooth device, my ******* audio player starts playing. I wish I could turn it off, but seemingly impossible. I hoped this app would stop the app from launching. Nope, it seemingly launches a pop-up when the app is started from the hoke screen. It is easy to bypass the lock by using any other app or tool to launch the app indirectly or in response to a trigger.

The old Applock was a thousand percent better. This version has been horrible, too many ads and not only too many, but they're way too long. Sometimes ranging over a min, between each click/screen and not to mention the ads force you to click on them to exit their "interactive" game you don't even want to play. It's horrible. I can understand some ads here and there, but there isn't even a point anymore.

This app used to be really good, then they added a bunch of full-page ads. That was a problem but could be dealt with by getting a premium subscription. I did that for over a year. What made me stop using it on 3 of my devices is actually that it made all three devices extremely unstable. Apps wouldn't respond, they would crash, one phone was lagging to the point that I nearly went and got a new phone. Turns out it was this program. Won't be back.

I didn't have any problems with the last version. The upgraded version is awful. It will play an Ad after every single thing you do which it didn't before & once the Ad plays it kicks you out & sends you to play store to install it. The only way you can get out of it is by closing it which sometimes takes several attempts. I've had this for years but it's not worth the fight & frustration. . NEW PROBLEM! Woke up today & all my pics are gone!! I was in the middle of backing it up. Lost everything

I see you raised your prices. I hate subscription apps. Edit: I understand and appreciate your need to make money. I don't need it that bad any. My phone series has built in secret folders. So the app was redundant security. I was willing to support for a nominal one time fee. Not a never ending subscription. Not a fan of ads either. Choosing to part ways. Thanks for the years.

Sometimes the app doesn't lock selected apps even though they're selected. Other than that, it serves its intended purpose. I would like to see a "quick lock" button where all apps can all be locked simultaneously with the one tap of the button. Like a quick panic button in the event of an emergency situation. Then, unlock each individual app after the coast is clear. Then, I will give 5 stars and recommend this app to everyone I meet.

I believe your system works best because I have a problem with a phone that opens a duplicate page ( UI, Wallpaper involvement) of whatever app you open ( you can tell by using middle button that shows all open apps). The app lock was actually working against you as the duplicate slides out from under app lock screen and shows itself. I believe the Spyware is using Bluetooth, NEC Share, and Wi-Fi Calling to spread the malware from phone to phone during setup. New phone no help...G sign i

I'll give a 2 for now.. Haven't really used it. Just during setup, there are far too many ads. Some very intrusive and long. I will most likely delete the app for this reason. Edit, that was completely ridiculous. If you want people to use the app, at least limit ads for a day so it can be reasonably set up and used. I'd give less than a star if I could....

I was unpleasantly reminded of why I uninstalled this app a couple of years ago. After installing this app again, my phone will not send me any notifications for calendar events, text messages, or incoming emails. Absolutely no notifications, whatsoever! I was hoping by now, these issues would've been resolved with this app. That's obviously not the case though, as my recent experience proves. After uninstalling this app, all of my notifications work just fine! Install this app at your own risk!
