The basic filter function needs to improve. If someone says their maximum rent is $1400, the search results need to reflect that the way they do on Zillow; you can tell this app was designed by people living on a software engineer's salary. There also needs to be a "not interested" option that can remove apartments from the search results to reduce clutter, and an option to list sublets as sublets rather than studios so you don't get the old "surprise, it's not a studio, it's just a room!"

I honestly don't get why they include "No availability" places in the map results. These should be filtered out. Also, those map results that display a large bottom panel is really annoying for quickly browing different pins because it covers almost the entire map. Also a way to persist the last used search filters and location would be great so I don't have to specify them everytime I launch the app. All the other rental apps do this like Trulia and Hotpads.

The app works fine, I'd probably give it 3-4 stars for design alone. However, the listers don't seem to have any concern for the currency or accuracy of their posts, and the app does nothing about the issue. I've called/emailed multiple posters; about 25% say the unit is rented, about 75% never answer/respond. Several others show photos of landscaping, neighborhood, local attractions; anything but the property interior. The inaccuracy and unresponsiveness of the posters ruins the app.

-The calendar input when selecting a move-in date has both Saturday and Sunday in the last two columns, not having the columns start on Sunday like most calendar inputs, and it made inputting a start date very confusing if you thinking about it in terms of "day of the week" and "weeks away". -The Map search view doesn't refresh the search when moving the view or when zooming in and out like it does on Zillow, and makes you have to manually search again to make it fit the view again.

Better to just use a browser, the app omitts listings that are visible via the website. This just makes searching even more frustrating. Been looking for places getting annoyed that listings were not showing only to find out that the app itself is omitting many listings, including listings that are exactly in my search parameters. Even using the same saved search will render different results via app and direct website view via browser. This app is a waste of time & phone memory, stay away.

False advertisement is out of control. There needs to be some way to filter out "rooms for rent" and there need to be consequences for parties incorrectly categorize listings. As the app stands right now, single rooms in multi-room houses are being listed as studios and even as 1 bedroom apartments. The only way to differentiate is to hope the lister responds to your email to schedule a viewing. The app needs to define the listing types and enforce those definitions.

This app sucks. It's constantly crashing or not loading anything, it will randomly just forget you saved apartments, and if you navigate it wrong it will remove all of your filters. The worst part about it though is that there is no way to filter out availability, I'm not just researching so I can look at all the pretty apartment complexes around that have no openings, I got this app to find an apartment that I can actually live in!

Filter text is white with a white BG which makes it unreadable unless you highlight the text. Some elements have a dark gray background with black text which makes it hard to read it. These are such simple fixes but it doesn't seem like the app developers care enough to make the fixes. Not sure when the last time the app was updated.

This app has the potential to be so good because the UI and the amount of filters are great. Yet, for some reason when I set all my filters and try to save my search it won't save and there is no "saved searches" option even in the menu. So every time I reopen the app I have to reset the filters and I'm sick of it. Using other apps till this gets fixed.

Worthless app. Every listing that claims it has availability DOESN'T. I've been searching for weeks using this app and it's an utter waste of time. You might as well just get in your car and drive around because it would be a more effective way to find a place with availability. Total garbage. If any devs are listening you need to change the way listings show up. Right now everyone is just saying they're avaliable to be shown in the lists but none of them have anything to rent. Complete fail.

i love this app. HOWEVER i wish we could make NOTES on our favorites! This would be so useful. As well as have a direct link to the apartments actual website. Prices are often wrong, or the apartment has more pictures of the actual website. Also, if you select a filter, like wd hookups, a lot of apartments didnt select is as a feature correctly on their end. so it wont show up. another good reason to have a direct link to the website. it would also be nice to look up a property by name.

Recent update. HORRIBLE! It doesn't hold the filters. When you click back out of a search it take you back to the main menu and you have to do the whole filter process all over again. Plus Since using this app for a few years. I only had 1 person out of all the places I submitted for contact me. This app is BS. Am gonna uninstall it. Street Easy is much better.

A few suggestions to better the experience: -The "Saved" list definitely needs a filter option to make it easier to narrow down the properties that you like. -Adding better general filter options would also help. - When in the map view in saved, make the list adjust according to the area you're viewing in the map. Overall, the app just seems to be outdated with its features - which is unfortunate when your business is the most populated site when searched due to the namesake.

I've found this app really helpful as far as looking for new places to move to, however I have two big problems with it that are very frustrating. The first problem I have is that the app crashes quite often and freezes my phone up where I can't do anything or close it out to try again. My second problem is I have had places saved and then I come back and they're all gone. This just happened this morning. I've had it crash on me multiple times and erased all my saves every time I went back in!!

App works. Fewer features than the website which seems to defeat the purpose of them begging you to download the app on the website. Can't search for garages and other specifics on the app making it much more time-consuming to search. Many things that seem like they'd be "swipe" controlled in the app are not, making user experience frustrating and confusing. It also defaults to your location every time you leave the app, so you have to re-enter the search location every time. Unpolished at best.

There is an "available on..." criterion for postings, but no way to filter on it! I live in Boston where people commonly look for apartments 6 months in advance. I tried using a keyword search for "September", but this appears to only match keywords in the listing title or description. Without this feature the app is nearly useless, since 90% of current listings are available too early.

I've used this app for my first apartment. It was pretty easy to use with plenty of filters to choose from. But now, with the recent update, they got rid of like 90% of then in favor of just FOUR. The app keeps logging me out every time I close it, and it keeps deleting all of my saved properties. Probably going to have to delete the app if this keeps happening.

Functions on this app work seamlessly. However, in my opinion there are a few critical points that were looked over. When you search, the app does not remove unavailable apartments, so it looks like several floorplans and options are available to lease, but they are "not available", and this is extremely frustrating. Also, unlike other apps, you can't limit or filter the search to the year of construction, so many properties searched are of indeterminate age. Good app, but big holes.

Multiple Issues! First is when I save a place to my favorites list, and then go into my favorites list, none of the places I've saved are clickable. This makes no sense. I have to go back to the map and attempt to find the favorited place by clicking one by one. This seems ridiculous. Secondly you cannot swipe between photos. This doesn't make much sense either. Please fix or advise if I'm missing something.

It's a very useful app and I have received call backs from some apartment complexes. The interface is good however, after 10 or 15 minutes of being on the app it constantly crashes 😑. Also, the reviews on the app doesn't reflect the actual apartment, please SEARCH THE GOOGLE REVIEWS FIRST before contacting these apartments. Other than that it's fine. Also, though this has nothing to do with the creators of this app but I feel like it should still be addressed, everytime I would call certain apartment complexes, it would ring for a bit then make a sound as if someone answered the phone only for it to immediately hang up on you. With that being said, please verify whether those are the correct phone numbers for those apartments.
