I got this because it was one of the few list apps that worked with Alexa. Asking Alexa to add things to my list is super easy and it shows up and immediately! But when it comes to editing lists on my phone, it's an absolute pain!!! Most the time it crashes. It did this on my Note 5, and now on my 9. It actually seems worse! I can barely navigate the app without it crashing on me. Please fix! Update: It still crashes when I edit the menu. Sill using my galaxy 9.

There are certain things I love like the fact that it sorts my grocery list by aisle automatically. But overall this app stresses me out. I just want an app that allows me to share my grocery list. But the grocery list seems buried in an area that isn't intuitive. I don't need something to schedule every second of my life which seems to be more this apps aim.

It's good, the best I've found. I'd like to see new calendar entry as an app shortcut, and I'd really like to see a greater focus on location based reminders as this is one of the few apps that works with them reliably, but it still takes too many taps to set one up and time based is clearly the preference of the app developers.

Instead of shopping around, I downloaded Any.do because of how widely used it is. Setting up one day's schedule should have taken me just a couple of minutes. But the app seemingly randomized which day of the week an entry was for. On two occasions, it picked a day over a year away. After twenty minutes of fighting the app, I finally had my schedule together. I spent another ten minutes trying to get any notifications to work, with no luck. Fortunately, uninstalling only took a few seconds.

This app was great for me for a while, then I didn't need it for a whole. When I came back it seemed lackluster, but overall fine. What made me dump it was that the app appears to have teamed up with target or some other retailer and they would add stuff to your "shopping list" without your permission and I would get these pop-ups on my phone telling you they added some random product to your list. I never had a list nor used the products pushed and no way I saw to stop it.

I have the same recurring tasks to do every day. I need a to-do-list reminder to buzz me when it's time. The problem with this app, is that those reminder times somehow start drifting every day, giving me different times the next day! That is an annoying fail! Screw it, I'm going elsewhere. if I find a better app, I'll let you guys know. UPDATE : Suggestion did not work, and I found an app, that does not drift. I have moved on.

I found this app difficult to organize in a way that was useful for me. I couldn't separate which items showed up on my phone widget by topic, so it showed all of them which was unnecessary. I also found the reminders to plan my day annoying. It would be better with an improved calendar and prioritizing options. Last, it is extremely frustrating to try and unsubscribe from yearly renewal. It is buried deep in the info and the actual faq for this has a broken link. Super sketchy and rude.

Sadly this is the best to do list I have seen. Very glitchy. Tasks done weeks ago magically show up and you have to delete them again. A grocery list I didn't even want replicated itself 12 times. My personal list replicated itself 13 times and when I deleted the second to last iteration of this it deleted everything I had ever typed into my lists. Calendar support only available on ipad and android phone, not in browser window. You have to trick the system into puting a date on items by setting a reminder and then going back in to deactivate the reminder. I like that you can move items around however you want and that items left undone today stay in the today category instead of just floating out of the system. It is odd that something as unfinished as this emerges as king of the hill in this category. I would have thought that the global creativity and intelligence of humanity would have far surpassed this but apparently not.

Since I wrote my original review in 2017, I have continued to use and rely on the app, but I still have my frustrations. Often, I will type a to do before selecting the time, but the time buttons are so small that I will accidentally hit outside of them, and my to do disappears, meaning I have to retype it again. Also, the pop-ups and list don't sync. So, if I delete a to do on the list in the app, the pop-up remains. I'd also like to be able to remove a batch of to dos at once. The features outweigh the frustrations for me with this app, and I do depend on it daily. I've been using this app for years and loved it... until the last couple of weeks. It has stopped notifying me when a task is due. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and it works for one day and then stops again. I need an app that notifies me. I am frustrated because I have depended upon and used this app for years without issue, and I have quite the list made!

I don't like the fact that drag and drop of tasks is not good. It works only in a specific manner. That is It does not indicate when you can drop the task after dragging. There is no visual clue. Wow! On snooze the task gets rearranged in calendar view. The only feature I never seen in any other apps. Never miss a call back that was important. The best part I like the most is the in app notification from where you can select task and postpone as usual.

I like this app. I use it a lot. Edit again: the issue I mentioned months ago is still broken. I sent reports to the company, vid, pictures. They got back to me, but they haven't fixed the issue. They broke things with updates. When entering my sub list, my phone switched to landscape mode for a second. When turned back to portrait, my list was gone. Please fix this!

I have found this to be an amazing experience for helping me stay on track! I have adult adhd 👀🤣 ..I tried to use other planning apps, and they weren't for me. I have to say, "Any.do has forever changed my life with timeliness, schedules, and events! I have read a lot of reviews, and I did my own research. This app can/could be your dally assistant to put you on the path for being more organized and getting back to being stress free! What do you have to lose? It's free! Best Regards

I've had this planner app for years. It just recently started bouncing back an entire year when I put new appts in. For example...I just put an appt in for May 11, 2024. After I saved it, the calendar jumped all the way back to May of 2023, and I had to manually scroll back to 2024. I know... first world problems, lol. But it would be nice if this could be corrected.

Not for me! Off the bat, it assumes that you have an extra hour on waking to plan the rest of your day. Um, no! If I did, I don't need an app. Doesn't allow duration entry. Sounds that cannot be turned off. Time frames not sensible, creating custom EVERY time gets OLD. Supremely confusing. Doesn't allow duration entry. Can't repeat that enough. It does work, but if you're cramming in 10/hour, you're better off just spreadsheeting it. Tried them side-by-side, Excel won. And I 🤬🤬🤬 hate Excel.

I'm not sure what happened, but now the app randomly creates and adds weird items to a grocery list that I keep deleting. No matter what I do, it keeps making a grocery list every few days while I'm not even using the app. Love the pop-up task reminder at the bottom, but the ghost grocery list creation and randomly adding items has me looking for a different app for my to-do lists.

Used to be amazing. Now adds come up right when you need to jot down your task. By the time add is done playing I forgot the task. I tried looking for some other app, but there is nothing good enough available yet. Fingers crossed once something else gets released, I'll ditch this frustrating money grab. Edit: how do you mean "dismiss premium add"? It's a non skippable add.

It used to be simple and effective, but it now has the most loud and obnoxious ads. Beware of opening this app in a class, library, church service, or any other quiet setting that you'll happen to need your lists or notes. It will advertise to everyone around you. I will be uninstalling this app. There are plenty of to-do list apps out there. You don't have to settle for this one. Edit: My phone is always on silent mode so that has not worked. I found another free app that works great! Thanks!

Update June 24, 2024: Things have gotten worse. Now there are lots video ads that take up the whole screen and make the app non-functional until the ad is over. Searching for a replacement. The latest update now includes intrusive video popups to explain new features. I find these really annoying, I'm going to look for a different app.

I have used this app for several years, and it has worked great for me. Within the last week, I have received several pop up ads to upgrade. This was in the middle of trying to edit my list of tasks. Very distracting. They are timed so that you cannot stop them until they finish playing. There was no notification on this change of behavior. I would no longer recommend this app

I was really liking this until I found that anytime any overlay pops up or if you switch screens for even a second. The entire list of subtasks you spent the last 10 minutes adding, just disappears! AND you have the save the original task like it's the first time you're making it (which closes the window and you have to open it back up) before it will let you start inputing the subtasks again. Completely unusable! That's a huge flaw! So I have to put my phone on do not disturb to use the app?
