Really addictive game. Really enjoy the puzzle type levels. There is still a decent amount of variety even though there are a lot of repetitive components. Are all user levels beatable? I like the challenge, but don't want to waste time on one if there is no guarantee it can be beat. Glad there is a filter option. NOT a fan of the diplomacy feature...it's just annoying to manage. I do wish there were more frequent updates to campaign levels being added. The last update only added 2 new levels.

Bottom line: This is an awesome free game. I stumbled upon it years ago and am still enjoying it today as a simple but polished turn-based strategy time-killer. There are many campaign levels of varying challenge, multiple game modes, customizable randomly-generated levels, user-created levels, and a level editor - with no advertisements or clickbait! I'm very grateful for Yiotro sharing this creation with the world. There's no reason to not play this if you like casual strategy games.

The games has a 2001 computer vibe to it that takes me back to my childhood. It seems based on game named Slay that was on windows XP. The controls are easy to figure out. The maps are very interesting. I downloaded it and played the game for about 3 hours. and wasn't even close to be finished. Lots of strategy and thinking is needed, or you can just set the difficulty lower and still have a blast. Great game.On top of that, the editor seems to be very responsive to reviews, and is very helpful.

this game is awesome, but it is simply too addicting and i had to uninstall twice. in the future, can a screen be installed between games on campaign, so that there is an option to go back to the home screen instead of only to go on to the next level? i ended up accidentally playing for hours without realizing it because of the way that the end game screen is set up

Ok. I've finished all 150 campaign and several of the player-made levels. I think I can leave a review after a full 15 1/2 hours This game consumed me for a while. My each and every spare moment was this game, despite learning many things late, like the help button A simple gameplay that is both difficult to play and not. There are some parts that got repetitive as the AI doesn't get much smarter after the first bump up, yet it is something that can easily eat up time. I wish to say more, yet...

The simplicity of this game is its strong point. It is a strategy game revolving around taking land, making money, and conquering other people. The variety of units in the game is pretty small: only 4 units (peasant, spearman, "pre-knight", and knight) and 4 buildings (capital, farm, tower, and "super tower"). Although simple, it has tons of levels, user-created content, and a map maker mode. And there are NO ADS. Also has a skirmish mode for a brief, randomly generated match.

Fun game, enjoyed it immensely. Only 'issue' is once you figure out how to always win (abusing end turn spawn spamming, a tactic the AI taught me, of all things), the game feels empty and void of tactics. Maneuvering units no longer matters when you can kill your enemy between turns by blitz/spawn spamming into their land. This also renders defenses useless, because if the enemy has 10 top-tier's worth of gold, they can fight 10 layers deep of highly defended territory. Still, great game!!!! 5!

Very fun, bare bones turn based rts. I have sunk so many hours into this game. Simple mechanics add up to a complex, strategic game. Very little rng aside from AI. A well done, classic-styled, turn based strategy game that is challenging and rewarding. Some quality of life things would be nice, like how much a guy/building will affect your income, grid-lines, ability to remove guys/buildings (or the ability of being able to dual occupy cells) intermittent issues with auto saving.

This is probably the most simple but best game I've played so far. It has awesome levels and there is always a challenge. it's also a pretty addictive game with simple controls, easy to understand and it's free. it even has different maps with strategic locations. Thanks for giving me something i can enjoy in my freetime. Hats off to the developer.

Lots of fun. It manages to avoid a big problem I have with polytopia which is that eventually you have too many units and it's just a pain having to command all of them. It also doesn't seem to have in app purchases or ads that I'm aware of? So I'm not sure how this is making any money but that's cool. The only issue I have with it is that the end of round replay doesn't start on turn 1, it only replays like the last 15 turns or something.

Promising game, but the ramped AI difficulty ruins the fun once you hit about level 31 or so. Maps then become about finding the "one way" to coerce/hold the AI at bay -- an AI that's hellbent on killing you, rather than the other NPCs. Literally could not pass level 33 despite ~6 hours of play time in just that level. Overall has a good feel to it, good quality-of-life options, but the imbalance vs. the AI really makes the game feel frustrating and tedious rather than challenging.

This is a really great game and I recomend it to anyone who wants a fun, but simple strategy map game. Two criticisms I have is that I wish the editor for maps were just a little bigger so you could make larger worlds and have a world that could be really detailed and number two is the ability to have a unit that could cross oceans, but other than that, it is a wonderful game.

Wonderfully Fun in a Small Package! The idea of the game is deceptively simple, but a great deal of complexity sprouts from it! Very addictive, very fun, easy to learn, hard to master. The "balancer" setting for the AI seems to create opponents who will pound you back into your place as you gain advantage, but lighten up when you're struggling, and overall will work to keep up and give you the most engaging and challenging experience. Absolutely well done!

Very fun game. You can tell it's in the infant stages of development but the gameplay is already fun. A couple suggestions for next update: please reposition the "next turn" button as it is very easy to mistakenly tap it while moving or placing troops - all of a sudden you are warped to the next turn prematurely. Being able to choose your default color would also be a nice update.

Simple concepts that combine for a unique and interesting experience. The focus stays on tactics and strategy while keeping a simple interface and graphics that don't drain my battery. I've already played through all the levels a couple times now, but the game is so much fun I'll probably come back to it again in a few years once I've forgotten some of the more complicated ones

If I may make a request, since this game does exactly what I need (which is simulate a TERRITORY)... can we have an even larger map size? Like say for example I wanted to create the entire United States in a state vs state battle, going to need more space for that... or a world war simulation. If not, not a big deal, but thank you nonetheless for this fantastic game.

Great game. Very simple but very addictive strategy/world domination game. I look forward now to each new release of campaign levels. Campaign and randomly generated levels are good but the user submitted ones are very mixed. They often implement new rules like treaties that were never explained in a tutorial and personally I find confusing and less fun

Excellent game. I'd gladly pay 5 bucks for this. It's a free to play strategy game without microtransactions, instead of the usual paid game with microtransactions that wring you dry. It's a simple turn based game with one "money", 4 units, and 3 defensive structures. And a level creator and random battles for endless replayability. No fancy graphics, but then again this isn't a game that needs them.

Edit: unfortunately, there has been a number of user created maps that put you in the role of Nazi Germany. I don't think the dev intended this, but considering how many there are currently I have to reduce my rating until it is cleaned up. Wonderfully simple design with solid strategy mechanics. Great example of how you can make a great game without investing in high end graphics. Amazing that there is no cost yet updates continue to come out periodically with new content. Thank you Dev!

Absolutely love this game! Favorite mobile game of all time. I've been playing consistently for years. Whenever I'm busy I just hop on and play some skirmishes. I have tons of respect for the creator of the game and would like to offer some constructive feedback. Please make the editor better. I have spent tremendous amounts of time creating a map that simply won't upload onto the user levels. Also maybe add a new thing into the game I love the simplicity but something to livin it! Thanks
