This game can be fun, but it very simply is broken. It is programmed so that when you are playing against the computer during events, once you get to a certain level, your cards power ups no longer or almost never work. It only happens during things like 'Swole Club' and the adventure mode, where you play a card expecting to get a 'hijack' or health steal then time and time again it doesn't work. NEVER fails for the CPU though. It's one thing to lose fairly, it's another to get robbed.

I use to love the game. After some time of not playing it, I come back to it only to find it worse than before. The load time for anything (e.g.: for doing research, opening boxes, or fusing two cards.) The load is about 30 seconds to a minute, which after a while gets very annoying. Plus when fusing cards, if you leave and come back into your deck. Those cards are no longer fused.

Game lags and crashes constantly. Ads lag causing game to reload. I've reinstalled the game several times. Sometimes I can't get 5 solid minutes playing before it crashes. It doesn't matter what Im doing, research, rumble, arena, or buying cards. Please help. I want to continue playing Animation Throwdown but it's getting to the point where it's too frustrating. I'm reinstalling it now because it wouldn't open at all.

Always enjoyed the game from it's first release, and have played it on and off through MANY years. Never had any issues syncing progress between devices or anything similar. However, the most recent update has proven to have issues with the achievement flags. I'm told I haven't unlocked a reward before opening a box, only for it to open again, repeat the message, and give me the same quest completion. I think it's a simple process error but I thought I'd report !

I was hesitant at first about this game, but I started playing it for about a couple hours and got into the feel of it. I'll continue to play for a while longer and see if it still is as addicting as when I first found the app. Only issues I've noticed so far is when I fuse cards into combos, they turn into a solid green card with weird numbers on them and I can't see them for the remainder of when they are on the field or they just disappear. Another glitch I have noticed as well is when your in the research area, when I go to put a card up for syncing, the compatible cards don't have any check marks on them and they show as I have to fuse them again for a match. That's all I got until further more. 😁

While yes I have only been using this app for around a couple of days, its annoying to play. The game is fine. The Ads and way ads work, not so much. Most of the ads are these "Yahoo Sports" and when I click off of the ad, it then can either force you to close the app because the ad wont give you a X, or if in the research (Where you can watch an ad to skip time a bit) it then glitches out the menu forcing me to back out and come back. Will update in a week

The game seems fun. Good game play, good characters, fun throwbacks to the cartoons I used to love. However the ads get in the way. I don't mind the occasional ad, but this is silly. The ads are just obnoxious with fake X buttons, Auto opening advertised game in the Google Play store, then another ad to install the game, and a mandatory 6 second count down to close the ad. Forget that mess, your game is not that fun!

Addictive, fun, easy to learn and so cool to be able to collect all of my favorite TV characters. The story line is entertaining and funny. Also not necessary to purchase anything to enjoy the game play, but it is an option. **Edit: Had to delete my game. Tried several times to save my data through the Kongregate login. Told me repeatedly it was saved. Just tried to login and it saved the tutorial data it forces you to go through. Uninstalling.

I once gave the game a great review but after coming back to it, I'm blown away by the cost. 30 dollars a month altogether for VIP and that doesn't even include potentially buying packs, AND on top of that everything in the game is energy based. I love this game but it's incredibly off-putting knowing I will never purchase anything to make it more viable and fun. I lose connection to the game upwards of 5-10 times before I can finish a single match and constantly have to close and reopen it.

Good game. It would be alot better if it had more games to play, was available to play offline, and if it didnt crash or freeze 8-15 times per day during matches. It never even lets you pick back up where you left off. If an offline mode was added then i could probably forgive all the crashing and freezing. But i am still hoping this will get fixed.

Frustrating ads, like others have said the banner of the game effectively blocks the tiny "X" to close out of the ad once it is done. Some force interaction, annoying in it's own way. Bottom line, I have to skip a lot of the "watch an ad" options not because I have a problem with watching ads, but I know there's a 50-75% chance the ad will be something I can't close out of.

Addictive and funny. My only issue is whenever you watch an ad, there's a banner with the games name "throwdown" on it, black background, and it covers the top of the ad so pressing the x to close the ad is hard if you can't see it :/ so sometimes when that happens, I will barely see an x and be able to press it. But 50% of the time it's a swing and a miss cus I'll also press on the add and open the link to it 🙄. Or I have to close the game and rewatch another ad 😑 please fix. It's annoying!!

UPDATE: My game freezes almost every time I run "auto-play" for multiple matches. The mechanic is convenient, but the bug is infuriating. Fix this and I'll increase my score. Fun game based on a ton of beloved animated characters. It stays true to the source material, which makes it very satisfying to play. It's a fairly simple card based game, but it's little more interesting because of the fusing mechanic. I don't like the features that require you to "buy" things to complete challenges.

Disconnect. Disconnect. Disconnect. I'm so disappointed in how unstable this game has become since I last played. I can play for a couple minutes and then it asks if I want to reconnect. I've restarted my phone, internet, and everything on my end. They just have a garbage product and don't care. Do not install. I repeat. Do not install. I even went the extra mile and purchased the monthly sub, and I can't even play 2 weeks in. They don't acknowledge these issues, and they don't compensate.

I stopped playing this game years ago only to return and find out it's even more predatory. First off I had to take 15 minutes scrolling and declining my data being sold to your 100+ partners. And you don't have an option to reject all. I finally get into the game and it's micro transactions and several currencies EVERYWHERE. I forgot I was stuck at Fry because of the insane difficulty spike in which he has cards infinitely better than anyone who hadn't purchased. Garbage game and devs.

My only problem is that you get to a level after you've been playing a while where your deck just kinda stops getting better unless you spend an insane amount of money or time to get mythic fragments or duplicate legendarys. I just refuse to spend any money on this game, so I get very minor improvements. I get on for about 10 min to collect stuff, and that's about it. It would also be awesome if they added new shows like Rick and Marty or South Park.

Pay to play cash grab. You don't stand a chance against the whales in this game if you don't spend hundreds of dollars to buy mythical cards. Also game is rigged to force you to pay for premium or suffer game crashes in the middle of advertisements and lose whatever rewards you were supposed to get. Forcing you to restart the game and re-watch another set of ads with the hopes that the game doesn't crash again because of the ad. Its a fun game otherwise, they just need to balance the scales.

Awesome because of the characters, can be challenging but still fun, and the game is easy to learn. HOWEVER the "research" for new card combos are unreasonably too long of duration. If the research took only minutes at the most, I could endure it. I would rather rid the research entirely and I would LOVE it but I could put up with research durations under an hour. As it is right now, I'm uninstalling because I can't stand waiting to use my newer cards.

At times it will start kicking you off saying disconnected from data even of your internet has perfect service. It will do this for a couple of weeks then it will suddenly work right if this bug would be fixed I would give it 5 stars but it's very annoying and makes it where I will quit playing for a couple weeks. I do like that there are no ads unless you choose to use ads to get extra bonuses.

Don't get me wrong, this has a good system to it and I do enjoy the overall idea of this game. That being said this game takes for ever to load past 22% and if I decide to watch an ad for rewards any time I go to hit X at the end of said ad, it will go to whatever was being advertised as well as kick me out of the game. You can play the game without purchases but even so there are so many buyable pop ups that get in the way it seems money hungry, as well as disrespectful towards the experience.
