I really like the look and feel of Angler's Log. It has a lot of options that are really helpful that I hadn't thought of. Also, while it does have location as a permission, it still functions without having the permission. Keep up the good work guys and to all you fellow anglers, fish long and prosper.

It will let you add a fishing spot without you giving it access to location data so it can display it on a map, just it's difficult to work out how to do it and it still seems to complain that it doesn't have access. You have to be careful to remember to press the tick symbol before you close or leave the app as otherwise data won't be saved. Review level might increase once ive used it in anger next week

Love this app! Basic is what I was looking for and it's what I got! Easy to pull up info! Maybe like others have mentioned, add a save to cloud feature? Or some way of saving info. Would hate to lose all info! I added 5 stars because I'm positive you'll listen to user needs on that subject! Thanks for a great app!

Excellent app, better than all I've tried so far. Possible improvement for the future is to select imperial or metric for each unit type. For example, I measure fish in lbs, length in cm, speed in mph and temperature in Celcius. Awkward I know lol but would make my life much easier. No other app I've used has done this so this app still tops the lot 👍

This is the best fishing log app that I have seen or used. I use it mostly for fresh water bass fishing, and it has all the features I have been looking for.

this is a perfect app for tracking your caught fish and unlike many competitors, the free version gives you everything you need!

Love this app! I've tried a tonne of fishing logs and this one I've found to be far superior . If you add two (or more) anglers to an outing it would be soo helpful to add that same angler field to the catch so that you are able to track catches by angler. Can that be added?? Update(Aug 2020): Unfortunately after chatting with the developer its going to be AWHILE (early to mid next year) before we see any of these suggestions in the "future version" of this app. Disappointing.

This app is so far the best one I can find but it is still lacking in essential info(there used to be a perfect app called Fishing Companion but the dev. stopped updating years ago and weather no longer works). For one the MOST important weather info isnt there, the wind direction. Wind direction is essential for locating walleye and for schools of fish in open water systems like the great lakes and the oceans. Also you should be able to record bites and missed fish in the trip log.

I'm really loving this app for keeping track of my fishing. It has almost everything I need. There's just a few tweaks that would make it perfect. Mostly under the waterways tab, I would love to be able to add a photo of the waterway and to be able to add notes to keep track of fishery rules. Here in the uk, many fisheries have different rules, and being able to add them as a note to each fishery would be amazing.

This app is easy to use and does exactly what I need. By using geo tagged photos of my catches, Anglers' Log save the GPS co ordinates, date, weather conditions, tide, and plots the catch on a satellite map. Easy to review and help plan future trips. I love it!

My phone got wet, I had to replace it. Anglers Log was the only App I owned that wouldn't restore. Worse, when I tried a manual reload, the app doesn't acknowledge my paid account. im not purchasing another pro account for a subscription I already own, and all my log stuff for the past couple of seasons is gone. Logs only work if you can go back and reference them for patterns. the fact that my entire account is missing... unacceptable.

It's taken a bit of getting used to but this has become a really useful app. The statistics is really useful as it allows you to see patterns in how you caught fish in the past. The more I use this the more I like it. Upped the rating to 5! Edit I have paid for the pro version, one to support the dev and 2 for the extra features. There are many additions that make data logging easier, for example auto weather data collection. I like the "vote on future features" bit as well. 2025 and still 5*

This app is now simply the best out there. I have evaluated the 6 most popular ones, including fishbrain, finygo and carpio, and this app is now getting everything right, including statistics and more! I have been using and evaluating this app for over 7 years now and the improvements have been awesome. The paid version is also absolutely worth every cent, especially the automated atmospheric and weather condition data! Do not even waste your time or money on any other app, this one is the King!

An absolutely great app for those tracking their catches! It has everything I wanted as far as the catch details and map went and is very clean and smooth. The analytics is also very useful and exactly what I needed. Would definitely recommend, but an annoyance specific to me is that I want to be able to connect with my brothers and friends so we can compare our catches and trips through the app without making it into a big social media platform that other fishing apps have fallen into.

Of the fishing log apps I've tried, this one is the best for me. However, it seems that the coders haven't fished much or kept a real log. I've kept logs on paper for some time and one of the most important things I need to know is when I didn't catch fish too. This app seems to be geared towards when u catch fish. Anytime I go fishing it's a trip. So, it would make sense to start a trip with a start time and location. Integrated into that trip would be what is caught. Then there would be an end time to the trip. The important thing that a fishing log should give u over time is information like fish of a certain species/hour. Total fish/per hour. Moon phases/tidal information. The sky is the limit for an app like this as far as providing useful historical information. I'd be willing to pay for a truly good fishing log and this one has the right idea but, falls a bit short to being really useful.

I give this app 5 stars! It's very easy to use. It logs your catches, locations, bait, temp, depth, clarity and much more. You can then view your statistics. The maps zoom in pretty close. Had no issues with bugs or not saving. Good simple app! Edit: My phone is being overwhelmed with UnityCacheAds. I have installed no other apps besides this one. It is very intrusive and annoying. I don't need these ads OR 20 videos downloaded to my phone.

Only things I would change would be to have the back button save data instead of erasing it, and enable the creation of new fishing spots in the catch menu. I wade alot of rivers/streams (with a handy and functional waterproof case for my phone), and can cover a lot of ground in a day, and where I am at is a pretty important data point. I have all but finished an entry only to hit the back button w/o thinking to add the fishing spot and erased everything too many times. Otherwise outstanding!

So far I'm really liking it! Real easy to use. The only thing I wish I could have is some more breakdown in the lure section. I wish I could select, say, Tube Jig and then tag the color to it, instead of having to make a new bait for each color combo I have. It's nothing major, I just wish I could see that white is a common catch factor, not just "Oh, my white/green and my white/pink both have high catch rates."
