really enthusiastic. so enthusiastic that even though I signed up for quarterly yard care (once every three months) th made sure to send someone out every week. so enthusiastic that even.though I keep asking them to stop through emails and and through the app that they didn't listen. now the guys who should up were fantastic. but the app kinda sucks. no way to easily quit or cancel.

Stay away from Angi at all costs. I have had nothing but issues. Contractors don't show up, you have to contact support for everything because their app doesn't allow you to do most things. Communication with contractors is absolutely horrible as they have 2 phone numbers (one for receiving messages and 1 for sending). I after 4 months of non stop problem I cancelled my membership and plans. It's just not worth it and this application is too limited.

It's been a few years since I've been a homeowner, so I redownload Angi. I accidentally submitted a project as request and there has been no way to cancel it since it's not showing up in the app. I've had about 6 texts and 3 phone calls in just a few hours. One call came in from Angi about 3 minutes after I talked to someone from Angi who said they would close the project for me. Deleting the app to make it stop. Maybe I'll just use the yellow pages instead.

I used the app and Angi's service several months ago to begin an ongoing project. Last time everything worked great. This time the app keeps going blank. I have to close and reopen it often, w/o actually being able to USE the app. I began my search, but couldn't complete it, because the app doesn't work. But, I've been getting calls nonstop for several days, without any messages or info about my project. Still can't get basics done.

Don't bother. The app is a mess, crashes constantly, and gives people your contact info so you instantly get spammed with calls and emails. When using the "Angi" services (as opposed to picking a specific pro) the pros basically claim the job like an Uber driver, then disappear, and it starts over. One pro never showed up even though the app showed that he had arrived and the job had started. I was very satisfied with Angie's List. Since it's been taken over by HomeAdvisor, it's just awful.

Not a good experience at all. Booked service for a small electrical project. Pro never showed up on the first scheduled appointment day, then I had to reschedule. Pro never showed up for the second appointment as well. Had to call them 4 times just today and they have no clue on what's going on. I am sure there are better handyman services around compared to this experience I had.

If you want a passive, helpful resource, this one gets the hard pass for me. I wanted to look around a bit to see area contractor ratings, availability etc. in regards to a renovation, and was instantly bombarded with spam like emails and went so far as getting unsolicited phone calls. This is about as invasive as an app as it gets and the comprehensive information comes with a very negative downside. Deleting the app. Just a high pressure advertising interface that is incessant.

Update: If I could have dropped the rating to zero stars I would. They don't even try to help a person get their issue taken care of. All they can do is send out the same automated response to everyone who had a bad experience. I had 3 choices for an electrician. Two of them were not very agile. I worried they would not be able to get in the crawl space to get to the wires for my lights. The third and Best choice for anyone, was so sweet.

Very disappointed with both the app and website. I don't have enough room to go into detail here, but both have a few functions missing that seem like no brainiers to me. 1. The ability to search for an individual contractor (not possible at all on the app) and then add that contractor to an existing project (not possible on either the site or app). 2. There is no way to track or log when you have set up appointments with contractors. 3. You cannot cancel a project from the app.

The app is non functional. I cannot upload photos or notes about my project. This caused the pro to show up unprepared and unable to fix our issue. I had to waste so much time through chat and on the phone with customer service to see if they can fix it and they just rescheduled the appointment and told me to just text the pro directly. What's the point of the app then? Especially when the customer support chat window just randomly closes and is impossible to find again.

Decent app for locating contractors and companies to help with projects. Absolutely horrific app regarding clarity of conditions for use. For example, I selected the option to browse through available contractors in my area at my own pace. What happened instead is I received a barrage of back-to-back phone calls, texts, and emails from contractors (within minutes of each other). NOT what I signed up for! Uninstalling now. Beware.

Really now. I shouldn't have to deal with page loading everytime I go from one page to the next in the app! It would make sense if that happens online (though that'd be annoying). But every page I go to, it has to load first! There should be some caching somewhere! Especially when I'm looking within a project and going back and forth between different companies listed in a single project!

First time using both the service and the app. The login interface, is different, not very intuitive (sign in link vs. password). Then when I attempted to open the project details, it started to open, I see a map and some details, then the app crashes. I hit retry and the same issue happens again and again. I tried wifi and also mobile data, no difference. Keeps failing.

SPAM-GI. I installed the app to start researching pricing for upcoming projects. The instant deluge of phone calls and emails was insane!! I tried to ensure my contact settings were correct but apparently my efforts were in vain. Plus the search box for requested tasks is not very intuitive. Vague or inaccurate results were common. I was very disappointed. I had high hopes because I'd always heard good things about Angie's List. Be prepared for the communication swarm if you download!

The switch from "Angie's List" to "Angi" turned the service into a great way to get spammed by contractors. They've made it impossible to actually do any research and instead just send your contact information to a bunch of random contractors as soon as you start looking into a project. There's no way to opt out. I found Angie's List to be a really handy tool. "Angi" is just garbage.

This is interesting. They make a great effort to contact you, suggest service, sign you up, setup alerts, and boom you should be good. It ain't as seems, they will not credit on bad leads. And they bill for a year KNOWING that customers are more than likely gonna cancel in the first month. BEWARE, they totally went unresponsive via email will not send a email notification that you will be billed, it just happens. Maybe put the lead fee in the notifications, so it's easier to track lead cost.

Awful...they used to actually care but now it is a better graphic interface and the worse service imaginable. You can video chat! But only with yourself. No one ever picks up. You can text! But no one ever responds! What the beep happened ?? I used to be able to create a project and get actual people...now it is just a waste of time. Don't bother with home advisor any more. If you own rental properties like we do just skip the time suck and go google your own professionals.

Instead of going forward and becoming more modern , angi is going backwards and is getting more and more outdated and out of touch. If you want a service, but don't book it, they will harass you to death with their phone calls, push notifications, and emails. When you want a swrvice, they dont show you experts in the area, you can't look at their profile, message them, ask questions. They basically want you to blindly book a servive with a specialist they choose. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

Such a great app that fuctions so poorly. And the website is great but APP IS AWFUL. Its perfectly laid out but hard to get in touch with contractors. App crashes and is very slow too. I have projects set up and am trying to request quotes and it won't work. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and using my computer. It's so disappointing because It used to be so great

The app was good until it just outright started to suck lately 1. The app really demands you to "Request Quote" from random companies rather than immediately connecting to a handynan right away (which they used to do), and stubbornly refuses to have that option, which is very annoying. 2. The booking is set to your default address in your profile and regardless what you entered as your service address. So you have to go back and change your default address on your profile. That is just lazy
