I re-downloaded this game because I remembered it being really fun, only to see that it's literally unplayable for me. I've spent more time on the loading screen than I have playing the game, and the two times the game actually did load, I was stuck staring at tutorial text until it crashed completely.

This game had a lot of of potential. It was shaping up to be a solid incremental game. But you need to watch way too many ads. You get 4 different currencies from ads, and skipping them feels like you are missing out. Gold from ads it mandatory at a certain point to progress. Solid game with fun rpg elements, but it has become an ad watching simulator for me.

Been playing for nearly three years now, and I've enjoyed watching the game evolve. It's nice to pop onto it for a moment, and come back later when it's convenient. Edit: Changed the time to be accurate to 3 years. I still feel the same way, each new update has always reinvigorated me to discover what's new and what's changed. I fully recommend this game to anyone, and I've even gotten a few friends addicted to it. All of your progress feels worth it, like you're making headway. Still 5/5.

Simple but with enough layers it doesn't get boring. The tutorial feels a little long, not in a bad way, so sit down with it. Lots of ways to earn the various currencies, ads are opt in and not invasive, art is cute, gameplay is self explanatory but not overly repetitive. I haven't been tempted to spend real money on a phone game in a long time, so that's glowing praise I suppose!

This is honestly one of the best, if not the best mobile game I've played. Not pay to win in the slightest with an abundance of content as well. It's fun, visually pleasing, extremely well polished, and can get fairly challenging. There is plenty to unlock to keep you playing for awhile, as well as time trials and other challenge modes to help you get materials that don't require you to pay. The absolute definition of how a mobile game should be made. Well done beesquare Games!!

Would rate 5 stars if it didn't crash so frequently. Fun game with a lot of personality, I'm enjoying myself enough that I'm willing to tolerate the crashing - but I wish I didn't have to! Starting the app, it will take a long time to try and load, and more than likely crash once or even twice before finally letting me play. Then, it takes even longer to connect to my Google play account, and sometimes crashes while doing so, even when it's only app I have running on a freshly restarted phone!

I love this game a lot, and have easily spent a few hours in the past week upgrading various characters and unlocking as much stuff as possible. I've been able to upgrade every character to Epic so far except for Lia. For whatever reason, the game crashes every time I attempt to upgrade her, and as a result, she's still stuck at the Common level. I've sent the error reports, as requested, but nothing has come of it. I just want to be able to use Lia, but she is too low-level now to be effective.

This game was great. I literally played it every day and have played it for so long. However they recently updated where if you lose on a boss you are automatically sent back levels. This means even when not playing and you lose you will go back. Very frustrating to get so far and then not be able to sit there and not play the boss to earn upgrades. unfortunately after being very dedicated and playing a lot. I'm going to have to uninstall.

I'm so sad to have to leave a negative review! I actually really enjoy the game- but lately it's been incredibly crashy. It crashes when I watch ads, and upon login, AND sometimes randomly during gameplay. It used to be that I could resolve this by turning off my wifi, but that hasn't helped in weeks. I'd be glad to change my review if it gets fixed, because it's honestly a solid game otherwise.

I played dozens of clicker games, and this one is the most interesting and rewarding so far! More features open up and become available as you progress, keeping it fresh and interesting. The money aspect is not greedy at all. The initial $4 starter offer is actually worthwhile, but you can get to the top to your without paying a dime. Kudos to the developers for keeping it fun and balanced.

Was a 5 star as the game is a blast. Although since the addition of artefacts for the heroes the loading up to collect rewards while away has been rather glitchy and game freezes and boots you out. It greatly sux having to repeatedly reload in the hopes that it will work. (Tried uninstall/reinstall, using a stronger internet connection, cleaning phone, all failed to fix it) love the game but it needs a good fixing or I'm giving up on it.

Simple concept but satisfying if you have the itch for continual progression. The art is clean and looks good, the sfx are fun, and the best part is you only have to watch ads if you want to. Update: I've been playing this game constantly for the last 2 weeks. It's super addictive, doesn't try to wreck your wallet with microtransactions, and there's a TON of depth so even minmaxers will be satisfied. Great game.

Great game, has some problems. Some ability descriptions aren't clear/the abilities don't work, and currently the game is freezing for a couple seconds at a time approximately 45 seconds apart, tends to happen right when things activate, but not always. Basically impossible to play in this state without throwing something. Apparently this is a recurring issue, the game always does this after specific events, saying it's fixed after the event is over is misleading.

Great game! I really enjoy playing it, but out of nowhere it started glitching. When I go buy levels or upgrade a character, the button will show I pressed it but nothing happens. I have found out that long pressing them seems best and most responsive now but then it just spends everything I have in a second. I have uninstalled the game, even cleared the cache and data, not sure what is happening..

I played a while, lost it's ability to be fun around level 300, and there are like 3000 levels overall. I played until 500 because I hoped it would get better, it has not. I just opened it today to find all my artefacts deleted when they redid the system. The game gave me a small amount of the stuff to fix it, but not nearly enough to get back to where Inwas at before. Deleting the app and just giving up, it becomes a steep climb once you get partially invested with no real payoff.

Absolutely my favorite mobile game of all time. Amazing quality, top notch. My most favorite aspect is that it never forces you to watch an ad. Also, the tutorial is the best tutorial ive EVER went through. Doesnt give too much info that overtakes the player as well as letting the player explore the mechanics of the game. Overall, this is a game that tops almost, if not all games. Beautiful game devs :).

Great time killer. Well polished game until this last update. After latest update, game bugs out. When I log in all my heroes are dead, and the five enemies are invincible. I used a prestige to reset the game, but the bug happened again once I closed the game for a bit, then opened it again. Impossible to progress at this point unless I do it all in one session. Please fix.

The experience itself isn't all that bad, takes some time to start working towards building a decent team. The main concern is that the game constantly encounters bugs that reset progress. Sometimes having to fully stop the game multiple times just to fix it, and by that time I'm already annoyed with having to do everything multiple times over (upgrading runes, prestige, watching ads, trials, etc.). Everything gets reverted each time the game bugs out, and it enters a "soft lock" state.

I've played a lot of idle/progression/clicker games, and this is definitely one of my favorites. You can feel the progression without the driving need to pay for gems; it's fully playable without your wallet! Some games take themselves too seriously, others try to be incredibly silly, some throw tons of needless story at you, others don't seem to have given story a second thought. Almost a Hero sits right in the middle of these, with just the right balance to keep everything fun!

The best idle game I've ever played, with one big downside. With the addition of the seasons and pets, the game has completely lost its main goal of gameplay, which is to get to the final stage. All your grinding and hard work goes out the window whenever a new season comes around, which is not how an idle game such as this one should operate. I truly think with some polish, it could turn out better than ever.
