(1) Troop Protection
In AAW, if you don’t want to engage in the war, you’re free to switch your defense mode to avoid it at any time. And with that, you don't have to waste your peace shields or worry about being woken up late at night by various notifications, thus making it easier for you to pace your strategy.
(2) Low Battle Losses and Various Recovery Systems
In addition to the larger hospital capacity and lower system battle damage, the game is also designed to reduce battle losses accordingly for different events. At the same time, AAW has a wide variety of large-scale and zero-loss events that will be available on a regular basis, including a Rogue-like exploration feature, Cross-server War, and Crusade against Demons. Moreover, support systems such as Angel of Salvation and Gate of Rebirth are always available to reduce your damage, helping you enjoy the game more.
(3) Diverse Hero Combinations and Skills
Few strategy games put as much emphasis on battle strategy and graphics as AAW. We’re well aware that in a game with a rich combination of heroes and skill strategies, a single battle report will not give players a thorough understanding of the battle system. Therefore, in the 3D remake, we have further improved the battle screen performance to be cooler and more gorgeous, and to facilitate the sharing and discussion among players.
Each hero is unique and plays a crucial role in the game, such as the Sorceress who focuses on explosive attacks, the Dwarf King who is good at control with a dizzy hammer in his left hand and a petrified ax in his right, and the Oracle who turns time backwards to revive soldiers endlessly and defeat the rivals in war of attrition. In addition, there are six ancient guardians, including the Giant Ape, Pegasus, Cerberus, Cursed Spirit, Phoenix, and Fire Dragon. With the right combinations and formations, a wide range of strategic gameplay comes into being.
(4) Regular Cross-server Wars and Various Events
A great variety of highly rewarding and zero-damage events are designed, allowing you to have fun while also gaining extra rewards to help you grow. Included are the rally attack against Boss, Stronghold occupation, and Cross-server events.
(5) Critically Acclaimed Features
Also, there are many well-received special features that have been well-designed and are still being upgraded, examples of which are as follows.
##The Uncharted Glade Adventure: You have the chance to do a Rogue-like exploration once a day, testing the overall strength of your troops and your strategic ability to use items.
##The Stronghold Fighting Day: It is basically a weekly carnival day for alliances, where you can occupy control towers to gain points in ways that help you defeat your opponents and gain control of rare Strongholds.
##Ancient Artifacts: You can get seven powerful ancient artifacts by completing server quests or plundering other players.
## Alliance Fights against Demons: Reinforce and help your allies, and work together to defend against demons' attacks and win massive rewards.
##Team-up Cave Exploration: Team up with your allies to challenge demons in the mysterious caves. Remember, the right strategy will bring you higher ratings and better rewards.

New update (7-24-2023). Game just gets worse and worse. They continually add in ways for extremely, extremely large spenders to continue to widen their strength gap. About every 3 weeks the at a new feature that can be spent on to strengthen the players so there is no way for even regular spenders to catch up or keep up with. All events don't work or are poorly run and game always kicked you out and they won't fix it

Changing my initial review. Although they migrated players and it caused some issues, the support team worked with me and went above and beyond to get my account restored. They also gave players ample in game gifts to make up for the forced update. Well done. Game does seem like an improvement on the first but I have yet to play more.

Overall a big disappointment. It's exact the same game Alliance at war. No new things. The same tutorial, heroes,units. Just the graphics are updated a little. Billion packs that you can't get rid off. Laggy as hell that's way I quit the first game. No improvements whatsoever.....

WARNING TO ALL! If you play this game be prepared to spend a large amount of time and be required to either play multiple accounts to grow to the higher levels and spend a small fortune to be a stronger player as time goes on players will leave and you will be left with only a small amount of friends and no enemies waiting for a merge that won't come because a few larger spenders from another servers don't want to merge due to being afraid to fight and the developers don't want to lose income.

Download game and started playing after making good progress i was trying to bind my account I was kicked off server and all my progress lost. Game is buggy and needs some major fixes plus I saw something that was suspicious to me, so I will not be recommending this game and uninstalling it.

My experience with game has it's ups and downs ...I miss the game how it was before the upgrade.....but as game goes graphics are very good I love the push button play.....the people in alliances make it fun in in-game chats......there is plenty to do in game ....love the war concept and attacking other players all in all .....really super game.

Developers are con artists. Keep releasing the same game under a new title and screwing their playerbase over. Their newest update they overhauled the ui and graphics completely changing the game. Game is terrible now. Not enough space to list the massive amount of issues. Stay away unless you like the product you invest in changed completely or worse, left for dust like the other versions OF THE SAME GAME. Pathetic.

The game says now we can collect crystals from the hall of heroes. It then wants me to click on the hall which is my only choice because it won't allow me to do anything else but when I follow the directions it freezes up and I can't do anything else and I can't follow the directions or do anything else. I've restarted the game 6 times and it keeps asking me to do the same thing and still won't work.

I've played before, was a good experience, left for a while, now I'm back and starting over. The graphics are nice, the battle scenes ...not terrible, it's a great game to pass the moments. Would and have recommended to friends. Yes, there are a lot of games out there. Shop around and you may find, you can do a lot worse.

This game is just for spenders it requires a large amount of money. There isn't enough players to fight so the servers soon become dead. There a multiple bugs in the game and events are poorly designed and go against the way the game is meant to be played. Little responce is given from devs unless it's a beneficial bug for players then is immediately fixed.

So far I've enjoyed this game a lot! it is still wildly unfinished and lacks more players, however I don't mind that! I enjoy the concept of the game and how the story evolves. The servers are a bit slow tho so I do suggest looking into it. but for now, this is my review. Might edit in due time but for now, 4/5 (Edit: Game Got boring, nothing is appealing to me anymore however I still recommend the game!)

Just terrible. The concept Is fine really and there's lots to do, the community is nice and non-toxic, but the Intrusive game related pop-ups out of nowhere (to buy stuff like packs, heroes, gems, etc) with every single choice I make are just wrong. Besides, the pop-ups that fail and don't display are completely locking up (and freezing the game) so only force closing the app is the only way to get out of it. Instant uninstall and never to return. Edit: game is downloaded from Google Play.

Alliance at War was an unbelievably great game to play. This new update to "AAW2" makes this game unplayable. It is garbage. Even if they try fix all glitches it's still now a very poorly thought out game... We played this game because it was fast moving smooth and great strategy... Now it's laggy, takes a long time to load and render graphics and the zoom is so close you cant possibly do any strategy. The DEVS obviously have no idea. Updated: the game is still terrible

I really tried my best to like it, but this version should be in landscape mode. The buttons unresponsive. Delay, lagness, and finding heroes item via grinding world mob is good but, in this version it is tideous. You have been updating several times in a span of 3-4 days & that wasted a lot of data/time and compensation isn't actually great. I prefer landscape mode, and less nuisance interface. Story was good, game version and all others no so much.

Game was better before the update, I can't even log in now, activity from players almost non existent, you took a good game and made it terrible. Another update and a few people including myself can't log in, this is ridiculous. Update, Started playing again, and after spending some money, I can no longer log in, stuck on a stupid checking resources load screen, why I stopped playing the first time, if I could give 0 stars, I would

Basic 4x with timers, energy system and really nothing new or special to offer. Another cashgrab trying to squeeze as much money out of players as possible.
