I would reach for four but there is much glitches. Examples cannot be repeated. Neither sound nor seperation. Some examples provide 2 or 3 letters and pronounce one. Excercise demanding root of coloured letters bear no colour. Where pictures are ambiguous there is no English translation anywhere to explain the words. There is no explanation for the symbol ْ. However its still a fine app; for when one tries other apps for learning arabic, theres no denying its efficiency for beginners.

Awesome app! The method of teaching arabic truly helps the brain to grasp the language from all directions (reading, listening, understanding & speaking). It takes you from zero to beginner and then to advanced level gradually. I can feel the difference already after 1 week of using this app for 20-30 mins everyday. But just one suggestion for the developers. Please add the option to enable/disable english translation in "Review" mode (both Listening and Writing).

I've been using the app with premium membership for the last two months. And the recent update of adding the review section is a great inclusion, but allow us to filter by each lesson. Another feature that could be added: Automatically generated tests for each level. For example, a test for intermediate 1 would have random questions from the level, and the questions would change each time. I would also like that the asked questions be different that what is taught in lessons

I am trying to learn Arabic. Currently, I am using the app with the flying animal. It's quite o.k., but I can see its limitations. AlifBee was mentioned in a review as an app with a much broader range. So I tried it out. I installed it on a 8" tablet. I got off to a good start until (still the very first lesson) I could not move one of the bars to its intended location. A technical design issue. I un-installed the app and re-installed it on a 10" device. On this device with a much larger space this flaw did not re-occur. I prefer to use a smaller device for obvious reasons (weight). I find it deplorable if a seemingly good software gets stuck in technical issues. Especially, if they want to be paid for it.

App is great and very well-made. It has couple of problems though, 1. In the writing section I can only choose the letters, I'd like to be able to use my own keyboard and not see any suggestions. 2. To see a short summary of the lesson (grammar/vocab) before starting it. I don't want to repeat the things I already know and miss the things I don't. And one suggestion, a worldwide leaderboard or being able to challenge people would make learning more efficient for competitive learners. Thanks.

I paid for 3 months access and took your test and resulted in being placed at Intermediate 1. However the after Intermediate 1 everything else is locked. And now the program is stuck/ hang at Pre-Intermediate 1. Product concept is good but it has too many bugs.//- ......... The problem has been fixed. After 3 weeks of use I have to say that this is a very good learning App. I dont mind signing up for a year after the 3 months period is up. (Two thumbs up !)

I like the structured approach in each lesson. Comparing letters with similar pronunciations is very helpful. Is there supposed to be some amount of daily "free" lessons? Right now the only option I have is to watch an ad, I don't seem to get even one lesson per day without ads. Also after watching an ad and doing the lesson, it doesn't get marked finished and I can't move on to the next. Confirming the rewards after a lesson is quite annoying, can't they be grouped to one screen instead of many

This is singlehandedly the best app for learning Arabic, and I've tried out so many. The features I would appreciate are: 1) a vocabulary list/dictionary to revise the words I've learnt more easily, without going through multiple chapters again just to find one word; 2) maybe a verb section with the conjugation tables; 3) some separate grammar summaries section would be lovely for more clarity; 4) there are some English errors, which is confusing sometimes. Overall though, great app!!!

I've just started using that app and it's pretty good. I like how it teaches both grammar and vocab concurrently. It also checks your pronunciation which is awesome. So far so good. Only thing I can think would make it better is if male a female forms of verbs were taught together and if all tenses were given for a verb at the same time. That way I know how to use in it every context straight away. Thank you.

If you already know the alphabet, then it looks decent. If you don't know the alphabet then it would be best to go elsewhere first as the English words given as examples for the sounds are mostly wrong and will confuse you. I've emailed support with a list because there are definitely examples that would work. Would definitely prefer a better free system which can tempt me to pay most of the time.

The app is very good I have had it for two weeks now . I really like the teaching method how it starts from very basic and works its way up allowing learners to track their progress very clearly. However after a weeks use it keeps crashing on me. Every time I go back to it it doesn't respond, keeps saying it's downloading.... so I have to uninstall it and install it again for it to work which is rather annoying. Could the makers of the app please Correct this issue.

I am back. I see the update. I hope it works better this time. I have tried 5 other apps to learn Arabic and Quranic Arabic. This app has been the best at actually explaining what is going on so I actually absorb information. The other apps are easy to cheat and pass so I learn nothing. I've learned more here than any other app. The bugs chased me off. I hope they are fix as you say. This app has been the best I want to use it again.

it's going well but it would be better if it has any widget that remains my daily practice like other apps to be consistent with learning if possible do it as early as possible thanks

The best Arabic language learning I have found. I am enjoying it very much and it's easy to understand how the letters and words are formed. I like the flow of learning that makes the progression easier. I have also communicated through a ticket when I had a question and got a very pleasant and positive response. I practice everyday and because of the ease in learning it's fun and I look forward to it. I have unlocked all the features and have not regretted it for a minute. Thank you!

I couldn't have asked for much more from alifbee . I'm someone who's fairly recently decided to learn arabic for personal reasons, I have things that could hinder my desire to learn arabic such as disabilities, family life, etc. In the time I've found to invest in my learning, this app has really helped me progress at pace and level that I didn't even think was possible so early on. I also had an issue with the app not recognising that I had paid for premium, which alifbee fixed swiftly.

I like it so far, especially because it has writing practice, but there are inconsistencies between the text and audio. The English words used for examples often do not make the same sounds as the Arabic letters. For example, for ثُ, it gives the English word "thorn." This is not correct because ثُ makes a "thoo" sound, and "thorn" is not pronounced "thoorn." I could see it being especially confusing for people who have never studied another language.

I wanted to rate this higher but in the 3 lessons I've completed so far I had the same problem. First the person speaking the letters sometimes has no differences in the pronunciation. I had another student in my class say same thing. Second on the accent marks above the letters are impossible to see because they are so small. It makes doing the questions difficult. I do like the app.

Mashallah an amazing app! And im considering buying the annual subscription within this month or by the next. However, there are some flaws that I'll explain. The english word examples to give an understanding of the sound in Arabic are off, for example, for the letter ر with dammah the word example was (royal) but (ro) from royalty gives the sound "ROW" which is wrong, it sounds like "RUE". Lastly, ive had quiz issues saying the answer was wrong when it was 100% right. Great app but needs fixes

I grew up with the Arabic language and this app has given me a chance to learn it again. Very nice explanations for the lessons. However it could be better when it comes to aligning pronunciation with the writing (some of the letters are wrong and the voices say something else). Also sometimes the voices speak a little fast so it would be nice if we had the option to slow it down or have it fast. Otherwise this is a great app. Recommend!

pretty good app, as with any other language app you don't want to use it alone but good for forming the habit of daily practice. my biggest issue is that when it has you try to pronounce a word it will not give feedback on how you mispronounce it which of course makes it difficult to correct. as others have mentioned sometimes the English word examples of a given sound don't exactly match with the arabic sound it is teaching. overall good but not great :]
