Thought I was doing the 3 day free trial instead I was charged the year subscription right off the bat and to top it off I haven't even received the premium that I was charged for Google play will not refund and by the looks of it they won't either if I would receive what I accidentally or scammed to pay then wouldn't even worry about refund

The worst the absolute I don't understand I have been listening my Amazon music for over 6 months with my Amazon. I had 12 different playlists with hundreds of songs in them and everything is great and all the sudden one day tells me that I need to set it up...... And it doesn't make any sense and there's so much advertisement I don't know what is what is stupid I hate it

AVOID down loading this app at all costs. My father downloaded this app in error of the genuine Alexa app and was swiftly contacted by phone and pressured into taking out the service and charged £69 for setting up just ONE speaker device (he was missold thinking this included Prime subscription) it wasn't. How can they justify charging a pensioner £69. Harder still is trying to contact and cancel this payment which apparently is for a support service which is offered FREE by AMAZON. AVOID

love the technology. Bought many Alexa products. my last being the mini Blink. my only complaint is setting up theses various devices. I spent two hours seeing upstairs camera c and still don't really get how it works. I had all my products xerup and working perfectly and then all the sudden things stopped working before example I have the echo dot auto as well. Loved it in the beginning but now its basically a fixture on my dash because it doesn't work.

My previous review was deleted by the developer. Probably due to the lack of detail in my reaponse of "fake app". This app is a fraudulent version of the Amazon Alexa app. It contains a premium service that is forced upon the user via questionable tactics. Ie Obscured Ad banners to farm clicks I found this on my parents phone while she was trying to connect her Dot back to the network. This type of behavior shouldnt be condoned in the Google Play store. This will be replaced every time.

What does it do? Downloaded the App to help set up an Alexa speaker but it doesn't. All it seems to contain is drop down lists which repeat your choice on double time Texan accent. I'm going to try to get my money back but the "contact us" option doest work either.

This app defaulted to install, with no reviews available to view. They make you pay for a tutorial on how to set up Alexa and then make it almost impossible to stop a subscription service. The button to contact them does not work and they do not reply to emails. SCAM SCAM SCAM. To cancel subscription charges, go to your Google play account and view subscriptions

Very much disappointed and I think this is an attempt by the developers to defraud customers which is a crime by the way. The same amount was debited from my card like 4 times in a row even when I selected free 3 day trial. Worse of all the app keep saying error and never worked. I think this should be reported to Amazon. This app does not even deserve one star.

This is a scam app, please be very carefull, the app is not responding at all, developer not answering any emails, Google store customer services can't do nothing about it , and it still for sale on the Google store. One star is too much for this app. Please be carefull, I lost my money, so don't loose yours.

I thought I was selecting the Alexa for my Echo Dot app and before I could look at ratings and reviews the app downloaded and I had to pay for a subscription. I'm new to Alexa or I would never have been scammed like this! It's useless and now I have some weird charges on my bank account and had to cancel my debit card. They are a scammers and straight up looters of whatever account you hand over to them. Google should refund my money. It's their Play Store after all.

This is Not the real original Alexa app. I thought it was. The original is free and to download it go to the Google play store and type in Amazon Alexa and it should be in blue with the Amazon arrow and text in white. To cancel this prepaid subscription plan: Open the Google Play app . At the top right, tap the profile icon. Tap Payments & subscriptions Subscriptions. Select the subscription or prepaid plan you want to cancel. Tap Cancel subscription. Hope this helps someone.

Pls respond to my email for reversal, I was debited even when I didn't intend to subscribe because I was supposed to be on free trial period. Also, even with the debit, subscription is not active. Advert everywhere and can't access the app still.

This is not the Droid you're looking for... Honestly! I was looking for the app that is supposed to connect my phone to my Echo Dot. While this app will certainly do it for you, so long as you drop $4.99 a month or $19.99 for lifetime. Is a GUI (Graphic User Interface) that shows and allows you to use commands that you can do already, but at the developers price tag. It's not even worth paying $0.99 for it if you're willing to research this stuff up for yourself off of Google... I mean come on!

Waste of time! Do not download! This app is very confusing to try to navigate. Unfortunately I confused and pressed wrong buttons and paid for subscription. Though I would use it anyway after I paid. Still couldn't get my echo set up with it. Do yourself a favor and just stay away. After reading the reviews I can see this would be a waste of time to try to get a refund.

DON'T BUY THIS APP! It doesn't do anything! The app you need is Amazon Alexa app not this one. It is not required to use Alexa and the app does absolutely nothing. All it does is list a number of commands. It doesn't connect to your device in any way. It is totally useless. Google Play should remove it from its store as it is a total SCAM!

Pay to Upgrade Alexa. I downloaded this app by mistake, thought it was for Alexa Amazon. Pay to Upgrade kept appearing and unfortunately I selected wrong button and payment was processed. Now I can't find where to cancel the subscription, I don't require the upgrade. Very frustrating and disappointed that they don't make it easy to correct/cancel this subscription.

Once the app is downloaded, there's a big continue button in the middle of the screen to set up your account. Those are scam accounts. I had to cancel my credit card due to fraud. At the very top of the app screen is the very tiny continue button that goes to setting up the legit account. I didn't realize this until after I was scammed and went back to see how they got me.
