IT WORKS! Edit: MOST of the time. I got a new Galaxy S23, and 3 times in the past 5 months, my alarms never went off. I've been using this app for something like 5 or 6 years, never an issue on my S9. So lucky that I use a physical alarm clock still aswell. Im guilty of hitting snooze and passing back out very easily. Using the shake function forced me to be awake long enough to realize that I need to get up.

(2016) Finally. The super loud random alarms are the only thing that wakes me up. (2021) Still going strong. Love this alarm! (2024) Why so many updates? There's never any information on the reason for the update. It was updated 11 days ago. Not even 2 weeks. Except for the constant update, I still use this daily & it still works well.

I bought this app over 4 years ago under the impression that buying an app meant you owned the app. I did not even realize, you removed all benefits of original purchasers and placed everyone on a subscription plan to maintain a "premium". Unacceptable behavior and a prime reason why trust in software and engineers is at an all time low. You will refund my original purchase, or I will release an app with identical functionality that is free with no ads or premium required for full features.

Worked amazing when I had the free version, I just payed for the year long subscription and the entire app immediately stopped working, which I didn't find out until I woke up an HOUR after my meeting started when I woke from a gut feeling of too much sleep. Amazing app but the fact that it didn't work right after I bought a subscription is disappointing.

The developers decided to change to a subscription model. Didn't tell anyone. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't wake up. Just found out that the wake up check is now behind a paywall along with the alarm that gets increasingly louder and the alarm that reads out the time. Basically it has become as useless as the alarm app that came with my phone. Besides, I was pretty sure I had already paid for the premium version, but I can't prove it. Thanks for turning into another greedy company

Love Alarmy!! Not just for the alarm functions and sound choices but also for the great news feed. A big plus. I'm updating my review to indicate a recent issue has been resolved. My Android had a software upgrade recently and Alarmy had some issues after the upgrade. A suggestion to others having issues with Android, make sure the battery is not restricted with this app: System setting > Apps > select 'Alarmy' > Battery > 'Unrestricted'. This completely resolved my issue!

I have the pro version and my main morning alarm has deleted itself four times now. I'll just sleep in and then pull up the app to figure why it didn't go off and it'll be gone. This has happened 4 times in the past month. It's a recurring, weekday alarm that keeps disappearing (so no, it's not a quick alarm).

(mainly talking about the award system btw) I'm a brokie that can't afford subscriptions, so I'm thankful for the award system that gives free trials (and never money like they advertise). However, I noticed that once I paid the ten cents for the monthly subscription discount once, I couldn't do it again. It kinda sucks because I basically did the challenge for no reason and now I have to do it again to hopefully get an award. Besides that, I do enjoy the app!

Regularly bugs out, trapping you on a alarm screen before it starts blasting a alarm over and over again. (Edit) i cant send you guys any info as i have deleted the app, but the glitch seems to be that the alarm screen will pop up (for the first time) but will lock your screen until you do the wake up task, all while blaring a alarm at you. I think this is a feature for like the 3rd wake up alarm, but the only occured on my first.

So I had this issue one time, when my alarm was going off, someone had called me, so I answered the call but eventually, I hung up. So , after having my full blast alarm going off in my ears the whole time, then the app completely froze. The only thing I could do was get to my notifications. I couldn't get out of the app, and I couldn't press any buttons to complete my alarm mission. I eventually got it off by resetting my phone, but still. Please help so this doesn't happen again!

Great when it actually works. 4 out of 5 times I have to restart my galaxy 21 to actually make the mission tiles selectable during the mission after the first 2 bug out. Have manually shut off alarms only for them to go off anyway or turn themselves back on after prompting. Unable to give feedback because you have to turn the screen on/off to make the feedback text boxes selectable. 2 stars because while not its intended method it's an infuriating way to wake up.

Several times in the last week, the Alarmy app is frozen before I go to bed. To fix it, I have to delete the app data and thus have to re-setup all of my alarms again, just to go to bed. Well, last night I checked it and it was good to go. Come this morning, I wake up an hour late because the Alarmy app has, once again, completely frozen and doesn't do anything, but this time in the middle of the night. Been using it for years and never had these issues.

One of the best ADHD management tools I have ever encountered! I particularly like the barcode feature: I am so much more likely to actually take my daily meds if I have to pick them up and scan the barcode before my reminder shuts off! // Also really enjoying the new alarm sounds. I appreciate having a choice between paying for premium or watching ads for rewards. // Thank you, Alarmy team!

Fixed Been using this app for years, and it's been great. I switch to a Samsung flip last week and the app stops working after a couple of days. I can't open it at all. I have to clear data and setup the alarms. Woke up late because of this once already and checked tonight to find it not working again. Will be switching apps in the morning. I wasn't using the latest app update on my old phone or the latest Samsung update, and it worked perfectly. Guessing it's mostly likely from an update.

The new app version is pretty, but it's still completely unusable. I've left my feedback multiple times explaining WHY we should still have access to view & edit the other alarms while an alarm is snoozing. But they've still kept that ability from the current version of the app. It's asinine. Still sticking with version 4. Objectively better, even if it's got less eye candy.

This app has helped me wake up for a few years now, I definitely recommend it! I have only 2 very minor complaints. #1- I love the cute little messages after I turn an alarm off, but they disappear too quickly to see them sometimes, I'd love for them to last longer. #2 is actually funny, but also a bit annoying. Alarmy tells you the forecast for the day, but... Well, today it says the "high" is 60 but the "low" is 73, and tells me "It's chilly outside. Take care not to catch a cold." 🤣

Bloatware. Space hog on your phone. Alarm app should be taking up 300+MB. Download size is absurd as well at 50mb. It's an alarm clock app. Tries too hard but gets the basics wrong. No numeric keypad to quickly set alarm, just the usual out-dated scroll wheel. Requires internet connection for many basic functions. Because it's a Spyware app first.

I used to really like this app for my alarms, and I have used it for a long time. I'm getting tired of it now though because of all of the ads, the weather alerts, etc... Its trying to be something it doesn't need to be. I also don't like that it was changed from a one time paid premium app to a subscription service. The only reason it doesn't get one star is because you can still use the features like math to turn your alarms off and that's neat.

The app was great a few years ago, but it's been getting steadily harder and more annoying to use. Premium being monthly is an insult. I have trouble imagining spending much money on an alarm app but it would be nice if there was at least a lifetime option if I did want to. The advertising is becoming quite intrusive as well. Overall, the app does have great features, but it is very much becoming bogged fown with extra little things that are unnecessary and troublesome.

This app has been great. Scanning a barcode to turn off the alarm helps me get out of bed, and I've set up to allow only 1 snooze for the alarm. Now there's an "additional" snooze added if you hit the snooze button again, in your exhausted state, only to play an ad. Don't worry, you can hit the "buy now" button for good measure when this new innovative ring tone jars you out of the last remnants of dreamland. I understand the need for ads, but there's a line when it impacts the experience...
