Most of the contractors in airtasker with high ratings are frauds. Used airtasker 3 times and selected contracters with high ratings, but they turned dodgy all the time. Will not ever use the platform again

There's a couple of things wrong with the app, one big one small. The big issue is the PAF database they are using sometimes shows in incorrect address data - as it does in my case and defaults toa completely different address. The other smaller issue is on one screen the developers have not defaulted the currency symbol from US to UK - a simple fix.

The price was 15% commission then went upto 22% but other then the price increase its a verry good app I'm a sole trader and have been working off this app for a year now. And the other problem is airtasker saying rubbish removal for $50 it's a joke of a price. Industry standard for rubbish removal is $100 per cubic meters on the cheap end.

Great app but it has so much more potential. I would love to see a calendar view for taskers and / or the ability to sync with external calendars. As others have mentioned, fees are high. I've lost repeat business as clients are being charged too much on connection fees and are refusing to pay. Looks like Airtasker has reduced the fees on repeat tasks for taskers but have just passed this fee onto clients.

It's a good way to connect with workers. I would prefer some vetting system was built in (current police checks), but I asked the worker who arrived at my home to provide photo ID & the person was happy to; this way, I at least had some way of confirming the actual identity of the person.

Can't make it past the first page of the login because it ask for my zip code and when I type it in my keyboard like forced me to add the city and state with it so it keeps kicking me out of that page. I'd like to be able to proceed so I can rate it properly but there is not a way to hey help from that page eitherp

All work is listed as remote, but people ask for help in person in their location. Such as: I need help moving a trailer. They are located in Georgia but say remote. People reply and offer help, the job poster asks if the person who replied can hire someone to move said trailer for them. It doesn't make sense. Some jobs mention needing help with fixing a car and say someone can talk them through it on the phone, which makes the most sense, but the rest? Ugh. Just a heads up!

It's a good platform to earn $$ but the fee's are high and working through the tiers can take time. I've made it to platinum twice but it's hard to maintain as work seems to drop off. I fluctuate between silver and gold. I personally think that once you reach platinum you should stay there as a reward for the work you put in.

My experience getting jobs on airtasker has been great! No payment issues, everything has gone smoothly. I've done 4 so far and have 2 more scheduled. great way to earn extra tasks by completing local tasks for people.

So far not impressed with the US side of this app. I've posted on dozens of tasks and never get any return. A lot of the tasks seems to be fake just to make it looks like there's more task than there actually is and some shady people are running scams there and ask you to contact them outside the app and try to enroll you in shady fake remote jobs offers. There doesn't seem to be any sort of security in place for that and the app seems completely abandoned and just there to grab money.

AirTasker, not sure I like all the app yet. Jobs appear interesting/workable. AirTaskers make an offer to complete task or ask questions about the task. Then wait, wait, hurry and wait for little or no answer as to whether the job still remains open for offers or has assigned. Being Qualified is Amazing, but when you're looking for the opportunity to be hired, Just getting delayed responses.. is no good.

The Android version has some compatibility issue whit the latest Android 15, when uploading photos(as I do photography jobs) it doesn't even show all folders. I have to use the system's built-in photo picker - this requires a few more clicks. The worst thing is I have to pick the system one manually every time! Kill me Pls!

Mid overall. It's ok to try finding some works but the app itself is glitchy and inconsistent. Support is slow and non existent. Established taskers are financially penalised for errors made by new posters. Majority of tasks are posted by new users and it is frustrating to deal with. Sometimes the report button opens up in app, other times it opens a browser that don't work. Buttons and widgets don't display or select consistently between screens even when it's supposed to be the same widget.

The Tasks that I tried to do were scams in the end. I was never paid for one that I had done. the person stopped talking to me when I kept pressing to get paid after finishing the task. And the other one i tried to do was probably a scam too. It's not worth it to use this app, especially if you want to do the higher costing tasks -those aren't trustworthy ones.

Do not use this app, you pay a high moderation fee but when there is an issue never fixed. They don't take any responsibility, and actively help scammers, and blackmailers. When false reviews are reported they do nothing. When the tasker just disappears and asks for more money they do nothing. When the task is not completed. They still charge a really high fee. Then when they reply one time, saying "we won't do anything" they close the ticket. With the issue unresolved.

Not great - there are lots of spam and clearly scam postings. When making a bid on a legit order, we are prevented from bidding "too low". The app makes quite a bit of fees off of these (from both the client and the tasker) and doesn't allow someone to bid significantly lower than the clients budget. So if someone can do the job for a lot less, too bad! You're gonna only get bids around your budget price. What a joke!

This app has so much potential. I will point out he flaws first. Description. When somone is requesting a task. Things like dryer fixed. Ok. Year model. ? Brand ? These are important to a tasker. Two: the fees. Geez man the fees are thru the roof. I get it. But that's over kill. 3. Cancellation fees. Really. Stop it. Sooo much potential, I do use it. I would rather work for you airtasker in improving what I think can be the next big thing. Anyway. 3 stars.

love working for them. Airtasker makes everything so stress free and easy going. if you run into a hiccup they are on it resolving the issue or guiding you thru what to do to resolve the issue. And they are very punctual be it responding to messages, resolving issues, processing payments. They are caring and understanding. Life happens where a tasker cant make it to their task, or a poster has to cancle at last minute. They offer resolutions to make sure Everyone is happy in the end.

The amount taken from each task is completely outrageous for the "service" they provide. When a person has assigned you to their task, the only communication with them is in the private chat. Perhaps just a personal preference but, if I'm doing a job for someone, I'd like to speak with them to get any particulars down. A 5-minute conversation is better than 2 and a half hours of texting back and forth
