Overall a good game but some questionable design decisions were made. (Ex: Tying the runway number to the level of the runway in question, not the direction it faces as well as having both ends of a particular runway having precisely the same runway number. Not to mention once you upgrade your runway, it doesn't actually change the length of the runway.)

This is an entertaining game, until you get to the point, you are required to spend almost $50 usd just to play and upgrade. Your needs versus rewards when it comes to collections, coins, upgrading, are WAY out of proportion. A complete waste of your time, don't bother. I deleted it from my phone. There are better games, with more fair structures in place. I'm no bodies cash cow.

I love watching the planes take off and land. The concept of the game is exceptional but it is ridiculously expensive, so much so it's ludicrous. There's no reason building/expanding should be so expensive and unfortunately with no way to increase bucks unless you purchase them, it takes the enjoyment out of the game. I don't even waste time with it anymore and I've uninstalled it. If you want to build cities, stick with the designer city games. They're much better and not as expensive.

This "game" uses the old failed City building business model from the early 2000's, and it no longer works today. You know the one that requires all these extra upgrade parts that take forever to get, or pay real money to skip. We'll skip is a great idea. Just skip right past this "game". And to the devs, don't try and take advantage of your customer base and maybe people will spend money on a worthy product.

Good at first, but beware. I haven't played as long as some, but I have played long enough and spent real money on this. Now, everything is crashing or freezing. Would get buildings, planes, runaways, ect., finished and then BOOM frozen. I have to restart and the buildings or whatever I just got done with are back where they was. Lost money, buildings, went to tech support all they said was they are working on it and all money spent in game is final and said sorry for all your losses. Wow, ok.

The game can be fun but it is way too slow and too expensive. There is no way to keep leveling without spending real money to be able to acquire enough gold coins to upgrade. The ability to earn them in game is completely out of sync with the level a player is on; far too few are coming in from flights, missions, etc. You are penalized for advancing too because you can't land all aircraft. There are also a ton of side missions; it is difficult to tell which are needed to help actually advance.

Overall, not bad. Pretty decent graphics and (at least at my level) fairly fast paced. The big downside is that game cash for building is too slow in coming. You're going to need to reach for your credit card sooner rather than later... then probably need to reach again, and again. Otherwise, you have a loooong road (or runway) ahead of you.

Tl;dr: Everything is designed to slow your progress down so you'll want to pay to move forward. A constant uphill climb to get anything done unless you're willing to pay. UI really isn't built for efficiency. Regular currency takes a lot of farming to get enough for basic and necessary upgrades, and premium currency is almost nonexistent. If you want f2p, you'll always feel very behind where the game says you should be. Also not really put together for daily (versus constant) players.

The gameplay is great and fun. The graphics are nice and has good music but is truly unmeasured the very little earnings compared to the incredible high costs of upgrades and buildings. Almost every review has pointed this out, when are the developers going to balance the cost vs earnings? Not even with a membership you can achieve the tasks. I already reach a master level in a flight and haven't been able to complete a task that has taken me around three months. This is absurd.

Love this game, although sometimes hard to get items you need to keep expanding... for instance, trying to open a hotel, and i cant seem to get any items, and sending a plane is not an option, and tou can only watch videos for things every so often. Also, the price going up for expanding each time for the same amount of space is difficult to keep expanding.

Overall a well made and entertaining time-killer at first. It quickly gets almost unplayable, though, because upgrades are so expensive and the income is miniscule. I have found myself saving coins for days in order to purchase one building/upgrade. Then it's back to zero coins, and I have to start saving up again. Some people may appreciate the dedication to building their city, but I would prefer for it to be easier to build the city.

The game is fun but a bit monotonous clicking around. It's fun to do while watching TV or something that doesn't require a lot of attention. I don't like all the extra missions like Valentines day and Chinese new year that are forced upon you. I always feel like this game would be nearly impossible without buying extra coins because everything you need to advance is very expensive then you need to find extra item to actually open up your upgraded control tower or hanger for example.

The ads don't show anything like what the game actually is. I'm a level 27, with over 40 stars, for context of my experience. The draw order of the things you have to tap on screen are always terribly placed. Every screen bought up, has either an ad or option to use the premium currency. The game is deliberately extremely grindy to force you to buy their currencies. The game isn't ugly, it has the potential to be interesting, but misses the mark to force overpriced transactions.

Expensive, and "difficult". I have had a Gold subscription for several months now, which is pretty pricey by mobile game standards. Even then, this game is made needlessly difficult by effectively making the odds of something good happening, like an item drop, so rare that it can become practically impossible. I've had to repeat the same flight to the same destination over 100 times just to get a single item drop. That gets old, and boring, quickly.

Overall the game is actually pretty entertaining and the graphics are better than expected. However, game progression is extremely slow and in many ways imbalanced, even if you were to throw a few dollars here and there; it doesn't go a long way. Also, in the most recent 8.0 update, the planes on the ground are broken in that they will stop right before take-off and sometimes after landing before making it into a stand. Please fix the bugs and will increase review rating.

Very addictive game, constantly changing to keep interest. Had an issue of being blocked for a "terms of use" violation (twice), contacted support through the app and they fixed it (both times). Took a couple of days but with the volume of players that is to be expected. The issue is reportedly changing the time on my phone. Appears the problem is on their end in their reporting system. thank you for resolving the issue, hoping it doesn't happen again.

While I appreciate the concept and artstyle, the pace of this game can be exhaustive. You are constantly bombarded by the mission screen which really detracts from the city building aspect. It feels as if you are just following a linear path with no freedom to slow down and plan your infrastructure. Also microtransactions rear their head pretty badly here with the concept of resource exchange speedups introduced early in the tutorial.

the game starts off fun, and seems easy to learn. The more you play and try to "better" your airport/ town, you'll face challenges such as your aircraft breaking down constantly, you'll have to earn coins to upgrade, but the rate you earn coins is so slow and painful. You can keep watching ads to get a few coins here and there ... but there's a limit, and it will time you out for 2+ hours. Forget the coins and upgrade... yup! more ads, and you'll get timed out again. Unless you pay $30/month.

A year ago, I played it for a few weeks. Didn't like it much. Uninstalled. This year, tried to give it a second chance, still as grind-y and boring as it used to be. I noticed this game didn't even have an update yet. This game is unrealistic, and the colors are incredibly bright for my taste. The grind is hard, and it was also too hard to make money. Relied a LOT on adds (don't like those kinds of games). Uninstallling yet again. I can't seem to have fun every day I logged in. Needs an update.

I disagree with the old reviews. Play at your own pace. Excellent artwork. I consider this a keeper: 5 years+ now. Considering the size of the app it runs smoothly. Only a couple of minor bugs: one is planes stalling out at the end of the runway; fix is: visit a friend's base, and comeback, the plane is gone, then continue landing planes. I like this app.
