Doesn't give you boarding passes, i.e. it's only purpose. Edit: Validation at airport should be specified in app. App glitches and says there's an error when trying to view it. If validation at airport is required at airport, that means there is another line to stand in before security, and due to the increase of travellers time is very valuable. Arriving at the airport early doesn't help because the desk agents don't open until 3 hrs before departure. AC app gives you boarding pass.

Enabled the flight tracker with notifications and didn't get any delay notice until after the plane landed. You guys knew hours ago that the flight was delayed. Do better

The app doesn't display the correct information about the terminal from which the plane will depart! I had to travel 4km extra because of this. In the middle of the flight this app requires access to internet to be able to download a DRM plug-in required to watch the movies, series, etc the plane offers. I couldn't see anything! The app plane route was also wrong, displaying another flight that had a different departure and arriving airports.

Terrible app, stalls a lot. Took ages to download (not my connection) and install, stalled on installing several times. Took ages to render a travel document. Requires access to my files and photos to render travel document. Error when trying to select in-flight meal. Error when changing notification settings. Was quicker to use my laptop to render travel document and copy it to my phone.

We tried to get our boarding passes from two phones. Got a confirmation by email but couldn't dl the boarding pass. We got a generic error message. Had to redo the process using the "desktop version" of the webpage in the browser and it worked (didn't have to upload anything for it to work). Same bug again on the way back. We also got a notification to reserve our seat, something we couldn't do by following the in-app instructions. My experience w/ AT would have been better without this app.

The app installed well. Not impressed yet. Have just tried to "Add my trip". Spinning, spinning, spinning... It's been 5 minutes. I'll wait to post this review until I've given up. Started over. Same issue. Nope.

Constant errors. Can't check in. It's frustrating to have to try every few hours while trying to enjoy the last day of a trip. Uninstaller & reinstalled several times. Contacted customer support, put on hold for way too long. Still nothing.

never have any trouble with air Transat. a great cabin crew and flights that are on time (take notes air Canada this is how an airline should be run) thanks Air Transat. great company, great crew and now a great app 10/10

For an amazing company, their app was an incredible letdown. While it was able to inform us as to what documents were needed to be filled out, its check in functional was an absolute nightmare going in both directions for just about everyone in our party. It appeared that check in worked for only those of us who had the latest phones. The rest of us had to scramble to book our seats at the respective airports. TLDR potentially decent app that only works best on $1500+ phones.

Terrible. Get an error everytime I try to add my trip. Emailed about it and was told yes there is a technical error and they'll get back to me. Not heard anything back for almost a week.

FYI for anyone else using it. "Booking #" asked is actually your flight number and your "first name" is both your first and middle name. UX is very confusing and poorly designed. Significant improvement needed. Was on hold for an hour with the company and still didn't get a correct answer from the agent. Had to confirm with travel agent every step of the app in order to process the trip information. It shouldn't be this hard it access my flight information.

Edited: could not select seats for all people at the time of online checkin. had to use the web. Airtransat: read the review before responding. Again, online checkin for the return trip, seat selection is hidden on purpose, you need to scroll up and down trying to find it. The app is out of sync with the web, after failing to change seats using the app, i did the check in online, the app had the wrong seats still. Useless app

Doesn't allow me to select seat or complete checkin. A further scan of my passport at the airport was required, so why give me the option to check in? At least allow me to pick a seat. This makes the app pretty much useless apart from trying to upsell to passengers.

I used Air Transat in the past (2023), but the app is not helping me do basic things such as add the flight and train info for my registered trip into my Google Calendar. Even the confirmation email about my trip doesn't have links to set that up (this is pretty standard stuff, so I can only imagine this wasn't added on purpose, maybe to keep me in the app?). However, the app has lots of promotions to get me to upgrade to a more expensive ticket or other things I don't want. Super frustrating!

Terrible app. Very difficult to use (on newest Samsung). Could not access boarding pass after numerous attempts. The screen would show step 4 for boarding pass for a split second then go "exit check in". Every time you try to go back, it kicks you out and you have to start all over. Also doesn't remember your infomation so you have to input it every time. Tried at least 50 times in a 24hour period. So much for avoiding the line up at the airport.

Poor experience. Lots of usability issues. Using Google Pixel 3XL. When searching for flights, if you switch apps to check on something, it deletes your selections. Also, when putting in your destination (whether by airport code or full city name) you input field is broken. Further to that, once you enter the destination, the confirm button shoots from the middle of the screen to the bottom meaning you press a different destination and have to start again 🤔. Really bad user experience.
