This game is extremely versatile and fun...as long as you're paying the subscription fee. Without the subscription it's a fairly subpar app but as long as you follow the guidelines you can make pretty much any story. The app has some confusing views on NSFW content but it's still enjoyable. Would give it five stars but the app has a problem with communicating with the aidungeon server if I haven't closed the app in a while. I can't go into a different scenario until I close the app.

Great app - when it works. If you switch apps on mobile (such as to answer texts or google definitions of new vocabulary), it tends to break the app and require a shut-down/restart of the entire application. But, particularly for AI and all of its limitations, I have been incredibly pleased with the service otherwise! Would gladly give five stars if the app could survive being minimized!

Update: A better game. The AI does a decent job of keeping focused and handling memory usage. Without the paid version, it's not great, but it's far been than it was 3 years ago when I reviewed it last. Better features, better results, and they seem to respect your time and enjoyment. The pricing structure for premium is still a bit steep, but, what free players get is pretty good. Respect due where respect is earned.

It's a decent concept but fails in practice. The ai can't remember what I wrote for the story two sentences ago. I have had one good story so far where it remember what I said. I think it's also ridiculous that their paid model is a monthly membership when the free model is bug ridden and can't do the basics of ai. Why would I trust the paid model? It has frozen up twice in the last week (once where it wouldn't load, and where it wouldn't accept input for the story)

Finally see it fit to return this review to the 5 stars it originally had back in 2021. AI Dungeon and its team has come a long way in fixing what they've done wrong, and although I do dislike a few changes still present (namely the removal of the world system), I can understand most of them from a technical and logistical standpoint. tl;dr: AI Dungeon feels akin to being back in its glory days again, and I'm happy to see it be enjoyable again

I love the game and have the Adventurer package. But now it's acting like I'm using free play but shows that I still have the Adventurer package. And it won't let me load the ones I've previous played, and doesn't save any of the others I try. I've tried logging out and signing back in, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing works.

it's really great, just miss back then when I played it didn't require energy. after that the patch let you build energy and i could go days without playing an it would stack. I was also a fan of the Halloween scenario I can't find many horror scenarios so I guess I'll make one but that's all. I'd minus one star for the energy but it's cool

This game used to be great. Not any longer. The changes they have made, in my opinion have made the game worse. I can tell by how they are formatting there new updates; that they want to end "FREE PLAY". Latitude has degrated the system terribly. With free play, as soon as the AI accesses two or three different "Story Cards" the AI maxes out with information and starts forgetting stuff. It's almost pointless to try to build an indepth scenario with the new UI system. Out of Space for review.

Very fun. Intuitive interface. The AI is well-optimized to adapt to story telling. There are numerous, very well-written and clearly explained tutorials on how to navigate the various functions. It really let's you build any word you can imagine, totally dynamically, and the AI will adapt the story to your choices in real time.

the app WAS good for a while for me. but loading times opening it have gotten TERRIBLE. the UI regularly completely shuts down. the ai regularly forgets what it's trying to do and repeats a completely separate part of what was going on and that's with the version I PAY FOR. whatever they've been TRYING to do they need to quit SOON because it went from a nice way to kill an hour or so to a frustrating experience just trying to OPEN the app let alone actually run it for a minute or less.

New UI is busted. I don't know if it's my phone or everyone's but I have to constantly toggle my keyboard on and off until hopefully the text box comes up with the keyboard. Nothing seems to be saved locally so the app is really slow outside of the ai making it obvious the dev doesn't want anyone running off with everyones work. But we suffer cause the game doesn't save after a ton of progress. I'm sick of it.

There's literally nothing positive to say about the bug filled and infuriatingly awful app that breaks repeatedly. The old one from the past was superior in every way. The AI is okay when it's not repeating itself or spewing jibberish. It still needs a lot of work though compared to others out there. After yet another major update, Latitudes biggest problem still remains whoever makes this app and the training that goes into the AI that has repeatedly had the same problems across models.

They actually listened to reviews 🤯🤯 The ai itself is MUCH better than before. It actually remembers things and gives good responses. Also, the UI works really well (unlike not too long ago) and everything runs much smoother than before. Although, my one problem is that the memory does start to go bad once you play through the same thing a lot. Which, again, is still much better than it was. I just miss being able to input things like "we are currently here" into the memory tab for the ai.

Paid $10 for a permanent membership back when it was an option. Now been degraded to an average user with the "Traveler" title. I'd argue the AI is worse now as it doesn't adapt or remember as much as it used to. Likely due to changing them to features now. If it weren't for the payment structure changing to a subscription basis, I may be more inclined to play. But now it feels like another cash grab app. Being able to play on my PC and Phone was a sweet deal. But much has changed for the worse

Sometimes it's good, and it can autogenerate great responses. However it's terrible at actually working. The UI is terrible and inconvenient, most of the time you can't really do anything because you can't load the scenario you want, you used to be able to pick worlds and they had the basics you could access anytime but ever since the update it's a pain to find them IF you find them at all. It used to be a 4-5, but ever since they updated everything it's sucked.

Everytime I try and make an adventure the game crashes, when I reopen adventurer is gone Whenever it doesn't disappear it says "please create an account before continuing" even though I'm on a verified account already when I click on the "sign in" button it pulls up the UI...then immediately closes it before I can so anything This genuinely sucks and has been happening since the legacy version was removed and there's been plenty more bugs aside from this, please fix your game
