I love this game, it's a city builder survival game like banished / Frost punk. it's a good mood of predictable resource gathering and unpredictable events. every failure makes me think what I couldn't done differently. in addition to the campaign, there are daily scenarios, so replayability is high. so easy to just pause the game too if I have to go run and do something.

Very cool survival/zombie apocalypse game for fans of resource allocation. Haven't had any bugs. 3 different difficulty settings initially, then several levels of mega-brutal lmao. First section of the game is free, after you've cleared the first 10 maps there are additional DLC sections requiring pay (only one so far but more in progress). Only other thing is a paid mechanic for fast-forwarding. Overall spent about 15$ for all content, no crazy micro-transactions or pay-to-win shenanigans.

low key, our flavorite part of the game is the evolution of the devs. plague inc was dope, this captures a lot of charm, does sequel things, yet feels completely new. looking forward to peeling back the layers and seeing how much they've grown. for the uninitiated......it makes for a passable RTS. good puzzle elements, coherent progression (so far, since you're fishing for a review but we haven't gotten that deep {TWSS}), pleasant interface, and some good trouble. at minimum, worth a peep.

The game is very fun and sometimes addictive, but I have 1 main complaint. The Authority system in the game is a complete mess. I often have to do big tasks early game (which is nearly impossible) and I end up loosing the game because my settlers became "impatient". I play on Brutal, and I've struggled with this on the ending of critical mass. Essentially the game punishes you for going slow and enjoying the games building mechanics, instead the game wants you to rush every goal.

So far I've been enjoying the concepts the game offers and how it expands the more you play showing just how in depth and large you can grow the settlement, but I do find the authority mechanic to be insanely annoying. I get it's to keep you on track with the goals but when the goal is to increase population but you don't have the food and water to maintain that, you have to upgrade on the fly rather than before hand just to not lose authority. hope there'll be a mode where you can disable it

Review updated. After playing for a few days, I ended up paying for the extra maps. I usually regret my purchases on Google play games, but not this time. I look forward to a new map each day. I do wish there were larger maps and I wish there was a built-in guide to explain small things (like when a service you built does not show any increases, such as production or morale) so I wonder what it does when I build it. I do like how you can build on future leader traits as well. Great game!!

love this game! I hate games that are too easy to play through and this is the exact opposite. I've made through 7/8 stages of the survival campaign and every stage presents a new challenge that really makes the player think and strategize in order to survive and complete the challenges. I also appreciate the premium version of the game being unlocked with ANY purchase and not having a minimum amount or the premium upgrade being a separate charge from game advancements.

I absolutely love this game!!! I became addicted to it shortly after downloading. I played the original plague inc., so naturally I was curious about after inc. I love that there are no forced ads (or any ads that I have noticed), and there are no required in app purchases. I love the game features and the construct. overall, this is very well put together and worth purchasing the expansion to continue the journey!!! If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would!

This was fun for what it was, though it's more of a demo than a full game. No micro transactions during the demo though! You get about 8 levels and admittedly it started to feel like the same thing over and over again. You can change the difficulty and the leader to change it up a bit with strategy but it does all boil down to Fire Pits and Sheep Farms and Fighters. Happy that I played it up to a certain point though; immersed enough to play 8 levels, not enough to pay for DLC.

Really good mobile game. I would honestly give it five stars, except there's not a lot of free content. I would love an endless mode or an option to continue play the levels beyond the 10 or so missions given for each level. It feels like as soon as I get into a level, finally thriving in it, it is snatched out of hand as it ends abruptly. It's a very fun game but man, it needs more. A lot more. I know there's paid content but that's paid. I'm talking about the freely available content.

Great game. Controls are quick and easy to use with a touch screen. UI and visual elements of the game make it clear what you need/have and what's built on a tile. Great visual feedback when upgrading tile improvements. Dropped this to 3 stars because of the impatience mechanic. Just being alive in an apocolypse is great. There would be no rush to jump into danger. The zombies should be what kills me, not sitting around being happy.

Coming from Plague and Rebel Inc. I expected similar game styles for this one. The game looks flat, with high-contrast and high-saturation colors and odd animations. It looks like mobile game ads, and that hurts it. The old games had a simple realism, making it feel like you were actually orchestrating chaos. This one just feels flat. The gameplay itself is different, with levels to unlock instead to different levels to freely choose from. Overall, it just feels empty compared to the older games

It's easy to see why this game has such high reviews. It's a lot of fun and makes you think outside the box in many situations as you play through scenarios. I would not take a star off for this, but my only suggestion would be for the stamina meter to continue to fill up as you check tasks for water, wood, etc. Great job and looking forward to updates! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would rate 3.5 if I could. I like the structure of the levels and expanding the civilization feels satisfying. I even like the sense of urgency the game gives when you're low on certain resources, but moreso I like that there is a visual cue. ("Here's what's low!") I find it interesting that the game focuses on the concept of the plague being a zombie plague, but that does make it a bit more interesting... Dealing with an airborne pathogen seems more complex and not particularly realistic.

Different from Plague Inc. but still has some similarities. I really like it!! I bought the Premium version, which I think was a bit expensive, but as long as future updates and add on's continue to be released like promised, then it seems to be worth it. Otherwise the game would be quite small without the additional DLC's. But either way, it's fun & a unique game!! It definitely has some strategy to it and some levels in particular. I like how you can upgrade/unlock new features just by playing

Fun game! I love the concept and the gameplay, it's my favorite mobile zombie game by far. However, and maybe this comes down to my play style, it feels impossible to keep survivors happy. We run low on food, so I build more farms and lodges, but then everyone is upset that I'm not building toilets and kitchens. I don't have enough stamina to cover everything, and my authority and morale suffer heavily. Getting more stamina, or demands being spaced out more, would be a huge help.

After some months of playing... Ndemic's fundamental skill is in developing simulationesque games that are generally unique in concept, and featuring game mechanics that are simple to pick up, challenging to master and, above all, really fun to play. They obviously pay close attention to play-testing and player feedback from their previous games in order to maximize the player experience. I appreciate the many world-building touches, particularly the ones with a sense of humor. Great game.

A much more narrowly focused game than plague and rebel Inc, if you like those you'll probably like this one too. My only complaint at the moment is the difficulty in each level varying independently from your selected difficulty. I play on normal, but when it comes to a few random maps I still have not been able to beat them. The zombies are either laughably easy or overwhelm everything, and you can't even cut your losses because they always beeline for your home region if you lose anything. :/

I'm enjoying it a lot. I just wish the infinite version was available for free, but I understand bros need to make a living somehow. Being able to watch ads for a small amount of resources could work so long as it's completely optional and you can't spam it. Or after watching a certain number of ads, you get a free science upgrade. It seems pretty balanced in Fallout Shelter, so I figure it might work here, too.

this is a fun game, but as many other people said, the levels are incredibly short. you can breeze through the main game in a day. there is "infinite mode", where you can keep playing after the 8 goals are reached, but it's p boring as there's no challenges, goals, or rewards. even in hard mode you rarely get to get far in leveling up tech or new resources bc it's not needed. without buying any of the DLCs, the game feels very incomplete. the expansion pack is necessary, although a v fair price
