The member to member funds transfer function has been disabled for about three months now. There is no sign of when this will return. If you try to use the external funds transfer tool to move funds between members, that tool routes you back to the disabled internal funds transfer tool so you cannot accomplish your task. If this feature is important to you, you have no choice but to look for another financial institution.

This is an excellent app! It provides quick and easy access to all aspects of my accounts! It helps make doing financial transactions very easy! It affirms my thoughts re Affinity Federal Credit Union being a truly customer focused financial institution! And... I have been consistently pleased with the ease of using this app!

The Affinity app works very well for me. I use it to check balances, pay bills, transfer funds, and to make deposits. it's very convenient and has been reliable.

app no longer works, opens to a screen that just says "login" no option to type username or password or biometric prompt to sign in. tried everything, just have to use the web version now...

Deposits are always delayed for processing. Camera is manual rather than automatic. Unable to load an icon to desktop for easy access.

this app was terrible in 2018 when I initially wrote the review and in 2025 is just as difficult and unhelpful to use. it's slow, loses deposits if you use zelle, and still vibrates when you take a photo before demanding you take a photo that is not blurry. if I lived in state I would never use this app

Love the convenience of the app. All my history and everything in one place which I love. i've been with affinity federal credit Union since the early 80s.And it has grown to be something I would not be willing to leave. app is convenient, functionality is great, my needs are handled very well

It's a nice app and it does it's job but It would be nice if Affinity kept up with visual changes like round icons or material you colors.... you know to keep the app in line with the rest of Android. Sometimes it's the little things.

Intuitive and clear layout, much easier to use than most other banking apps. Transaction history on cards/accounts shows a running subtotal to make review easy. Updates have never broken or changed any core functionality of almost a decade of using the app. Still works exactly the same as it always has, while other banking apps shove ad after ad into their apps. Occasionally cleanups of the UI, no unneeded overhauls. Update: everything above stands multiple updates after my original review.

Sept. 14, 2014-Much better than I expected. Most basic transactions occur easily and w/o crashes, etc. Easier/quicker to use than the PC based online app. Oct. 2024 update: I can't even remember what the prior one was like. But this is fine. Main expectations have been met; check deposits; transfers; balance checks, etc.

Not easy to use, was instructed to request increase in deposit limit and would get an email confirmation. Never got it called back 1 week later, 10 minute wait, to be told that I needed to request temporary increase and that I would be granted within minutes. Sure enough it was but did not get that info first time. Terrible communication.

App is OK. But the remote/online deposit needs work. The automatic image capture fires long before I'm ready resulting in an unusable image. They go through a confirmation step but the images are so small that you can't for example verify that the date is readable. And you can't expand the image for a closer look. This is less of a problem on tablet. All in all, an average bank app Latest version is better for mobile deposit. But still could use improvement. Need to be able to expand small ima

It's STILL a pretty basic banking app, although it's quite behind other banking apps, preferably the PNC bank app. However, it does what it's suppose to do. The only major problem is the mobile depositing: the camera software is terrible and can never clearly focus when you want it too, the images take forever process or get stuck in processing, the pictures are never good enough despite how clear you took the pics. Also no debit card controls.

I love the App, it is easy and quick to use. I use it to pay all my bills. Id like to be able to change the pay date for regular bill payer payments, and Id like you to remove the "invisible payment hole" that occurs when a scheduled bill is about to be paid: it disappears from bill payer but does not show as a debit on the account, creating an uncertainty about the account balance. Other than those two items theApp is great.

Check deposit sometimes doesn't work the first time. Can't manage account nicknames and displays as well as desktop app. And the wait times to get a live person have gone to 20-40 mins with the availability of this app as an excuse for poor live customer service. "We care about your call"... If you really cared, you'd answer it sooner. So I object to this app as an excuse. The only time I call is when I really need a live person. Your forced reliance on any app is a part of the problem.

On Samsung Galaxy S22+. In the check deposit function, before I can take front and back photos, I need to enter the amount. The number pad appears, except the decimal point is not in the first view, with the numbers. Instead, a comma is available. We are not in Europe. If that is a phone specific issue, please provide in the input field a floating decimal point after the integer part, allowing entering the cents by sliding the cursor past the decimal point. If no cents entered, default to zero.

This is the worst credit union you can possibly get. I've been having issues with my ATM card for over a year. Multiple new cards, multiple pin changes, etc., and fraud prevention still states there is nothing wrong. Good luck going to the actual "bank" you can't take more than 1000 out because they don't have enough on hand. Starting new accounts elsewhere is a PITA but it's well worth it. Just don't start an account with them.

Quality has declined significantly since my older review. The function to make transfers between the customer's own accounts has been inoperable for over a month (not just for me, but for other customers) and contacting customer support has not gotten anywhere. Extremely frustrating, seems like nobody is even working on it.
