Finally found what I was looking for! I have waded through mounds of match 3 and HOP games to find a game on mobile that you can play through puzzles that aren't repetitive or have time limits for energy to play. This is the first game of Haiku's that I have played and found the graphics excellent, the storyline interesting, and the puzzles simple but good. Didn't need to use any stars to finish the game and was done in about 2 hours. Not uninstalling as I'll play it again!

The puzzle, the graphic, both were as good as one would expect from Haiku Games. I don't like Hiro though. His character was cringey. And the ending was too short and simple for a time travel game. And I also found a glitch in Aztec level. Even after finishing the puzzle on the wall you can still "use" the Skip button by tapping around the top center, consuming your stars uselessly. Doesn't really matter because you can stack stars by simply replaying any previous levels.

Love all the games in this series. The puzzles actually make you have to think!! HOWEVER The HITS APPEAR TO HAVE A BUG. The deeper into the game i got the more out of sync the hits got to the actual puzzles. For instance In the both the two consecutive numbers and coloured gears puzzles, the hint told me to pick up a plank! Also I found that the hint skip and back buttons were too close and accidentally wasted points by hitting the skip on several occasions. Other than that I LOVE THE GAMES

Another great game by Haiku Games, I loved the storyline, an awesome plot with many twists. The characters are interesting too. I can give 10/10 to the graphics and the dialog boxes are not irritating. An excellent feature in this game is that it is replayable, starting from any chapter you have completed. The puzzles are not too hard or too easy, exactly how I like them to be. It took me an average amount of time to complete. The game is also easy to handle.

This is a combination of hidden object, logic and brain training puzzles. It is very generous with hints and there are no annoying adverts popping up every 10 seconds! Many other games like this have many different scenes and you may find an item you need for scene 1, in scene 30, so you have to remember what is where. This one is different, I prefer it. Each is a book. Each is 2 or 3 rooms. Everything you need is there. The last puzzle though, I believe is impossible and lost 1 star. Good game

excellent game with an interesting story line. needed help with a couple of puzzles like the minesweeper and the cut the wires. loved the graphics! game glitched a few times. had to restart a scene (cannon room) and a couple of times the game wouldn't respond to clicking on fields because it had inverted itself... but once you went to your main page of your mobile, clicked on something else and then clicked on the open page, it sorted itself out without loss of data.

An early Haiku game with good puzzles. Just beware that it only saves your progress at the end of each chapter, so make sure you have enough time to play through. Edit: to avoid the freeze after the 3 stacks challenge (where the parrot is), when you play it the second time, input the password that you received the first time round, without doing the stacks.

There is a glitch in the third chapter. After solving the ring puzzle, the game "locks up". I know its a glitch because this is my second install. You can still open the door after getting the clue by backing out and doing the door puzzle without doing the ring puzzle first. You still have to do the bird puzzle to finish the room with the rings, but you dont have to do the ring puzzle again. Its impossible to give 5 stars to a puzzle game with a glitch like this. Great game otherwise.

Great game with interesting puzzles a few bugs but nothing too serious just had to restart once or twice. There were a few puzzles in the pirate level where you have to enter the answer without getting the clue. Because the game locks up after you finish the clue's puzzle. Over all a very interesting story it would make an awesome book or TV show though the ending felt rushed or maybe anticlimactic? Would definitely play a sequel.

Adventure 5/5 Story - fun and surprise twist, creative idea 5/5 Glitching and losing all progress in a chapter several times, also game freeze in one chapter a couple times 0/5 Still love it. A couple of the puzzles didn't make much sense even with walkthrough explanation, but it was fun enough despite that and the frustration of having to restart and exit the game that I recommend it as long as you've got patience. Very enjoyable.

Started off well but began glitching and freezing by 3rd level... constantly had to shut down and open back up...had to redo the levels because it froze before it saved progress, mini games froze, or couldn't pick up items or get stars when tapped sparkles even though game acted fine otherwise (when it wasn't freezing). *Samsung Gakaxy Note, not an old device* what a Bummer...looks like I'll hafta uninstall. Booooo.

I love these types of games and the AE series. I just started this puzzle. So far the mechanics of the zooming in places are weird after playing AE mysteries and other AE games, but I like that I don't have to wait Hours for keys to keep paying for however long I want to play. I don't like the pushing of connecting to fb and share to fb when you complete a chapter.

Third or fourth Haiku game. All have had some serious stretches for puzzles. I consider myself fairly intelligent, so when a puzzle with a logical answer stumps me, I think it's great. If I use a hint and find an illogical or seriously unlikely answer, I lose some respect. These games have a couple of each. I keep playing them, but they're not genre defining. Still, good enough to give the developers some credit. Keep 'em coming guys.

I really enjoyed this game. Clues were findable and understandable. 2 things need work: 1. Save level progress (like in the Allied Spies game) so you don't have to restart the level if you need to leave in the middle. 2. There is a glitch in the Blackbeard level. After doing the stack challenge behind the picture the scene freezes. You can collect hint stars and go to settings but you can't access the next challenge (the circles with colors to exit the room).

I love all the AE games, but this one has an issue. After doing a puzzle in ch. 3, I'm supposed to input some sort of password on a door, but the password screen won't open. I force closed it and restarted the chapter, but got stuck at the same spot again. Nothing I tap works. I checked a video tutorial to make sure I wasn't missing something, and I'm doing everything right. EDIT: I bypassed the problem by putting in the password before doing the puzzle, and before the screen could freeze up.

Make no mistake from the 3-star review; I honestly love these games. I love puzzles that make me think and these definitely require you to use your brain, but some of these puzzles are convoluted and give you almost no way to figure them out on your own. In-game hints like to make absolutely no sense and then the optional hints eat up your stars only to give you SET hints on how to progress forward instead of a hint to get you from point C to point D. That feels cheap to me. However, those things I can deal with. Then there are the glitches. Sometimes you can't perform an action or set of actions that the game requires you to perform in order to move forward. Objects render unresponsive at random no matter how many times you tap or how thoroughly you tapped them. You wind up needing to restart the game in order to fix it, which starts you at the beginning of the level you were on. Then go back to the gameplay flaws I previously mentioned and you have a cheap, half baked mess of a game. The game can be incredibly tedious, but it's worth a good try for anyone who enjoys difficult puzzles. Regardless of these flaws, I still enjoyed my play through of it. Like I said, good game, beautiful art, interesting enough story and dialogue, but could use a little polishing.

Game was ok. Story was good, but some of the puzzles needed direction. Felt lost, just trying to figure where to go and what to do next in this one. I dont enjoy running around with my head cut off. I think that was why some of the hints I needed were free. Could've used better connection in the story to go with how to proceed with the puzzle, or what to do/find next, as in Murder Manor. This just was kind of a let down after that. I would still play it, but would have gotten more enjoyment.

Very good game with some challenging logic puzzles. Some of the puzzles are easier to solve, but figuring out how they actually "work" can be challenging. There might be a glitch on the level with the parrot. After I looked at the "clue", the seemed to freeze. I had to close the game, then restart it without opening the clue again, and I was able to finish the puzzle. I hope you come out with more levels to this game.

Has a refreshing light tone with the dialog, adds something to the normally sterile escape game atmosphere. Puzzles have a good degree of difficulty for a casual game - not hard enough to have to take notes but enough to keep you engaged. Ending is a bit abrupt though. It could use a couple more dialogue boxes or a final background scene to finish out.

fun, but appears to be a bit buggy. unfortunately I couldn't complete the game, at the Aztec gears puzzle the "rope" never appeared or perhaps I was doing it wrong but I used every star I had on skipping the puzzle but they required multiple skips and that was more stars than are in the game at that point. the story was a little weird too, and the characters not the greatest. Has potential.
