Great game! Just when I thought the puzzles were a little too easy and obvious, they started getting a bit more challenging but never too hard so as not to be enjoyable. The only two downsides were the game not saving progress until the end of each "chapter". And not being able to look at things you'd picked up. One part, there is a piece of paper with numbers, and I could not look at it again to use the numbers. Had to replay the whole chapter to pick up the paper again.

The game is overall amazing, and I will fix my review to a 5 when this following problem is fixed. At the part when you have to do a quiz kind of thing, and it asks you what the motto of the cult is. I put the correct words from the windows, but it didnt work. Then I tried all the possible combinations with them, nothing. I cant move on. I tried re starting, everything. Please fix this

Cool mystery solving / find the object game, but every section you pass it forces you to like other games they've made or you can't move on. Pops up a message to "help an Indie writer by leaving a review". Please, I'd leave out the Indie identification and keep to an easy invite to rate with a way to skip it. I gave two stars only because the story line thus far was inviting. Simply uninstalling and avoiding all Haiku games since you are so pushy.

Okay game. Some of the puzzles were good. However, it doesn't save your progress within chapters, so you have to do a lot of the puzzles several times if you stop midway to have a life. So annoying! I uninstalled after this happened several times. Please fix this.

The game was great until the boss battle, with fighting seth himself. I'm tapping the screen when the small target is in the big target, but he still kills me and I don't move up with the green meter at the bottom of the screen. This is ridiculous. All the way to the end of the game just to not be able to progress and beat the game. I hope this isn't on purpose to coerce players into buying hints so they can just skip the rigged battle.

It was ok but could be better. Haiku games work better in the AE mysteries app. The response time for picking up objects is slow. The final puzzle with the dogs in the cave is also confusing. However, it did save my progress better than other individual game apps from Haiku. I would rate the difficulty at intermediate.

This is my second game from the same creator. I've noticed they pretty much operate the same and many of the puzzles are repetitive. Although, there were some new ones. Simple game, but still entertaining. I didn't like that the same noise occurred after each time you figure out the puzzle.

I had to change my original review. It's impossible to get past the section where you have to match the figurine models to the sketch. There is no arm that has the correctly positioned hand for the second sketch. The only way to get past is to spend money for extra stars. As much as I like this game I don't want to have to spend money because of a puzzle that has no solution. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has this problem.

The puzzles were great thinkers and kept me entertained for a bit but I can not give more than 2 stars when you get to the end of a game and it completely glitches and fails! How am I getting the small target directly inside the middle of the larger target and it works twice then glitches me back down to restart and then acts as if I am not getting it when clearly I make the target every time... needs to be fixed!

I actually liked this game a lot BUT it had a fatal flaw. I got part way through and there was a part where you fight a villan. The reason I love adventure puzzle games is because I dont have the reflexes needed for other types of games so I will never get past the fight scene of this game. Really bummed I cant finish the game! You cant even skip the fight part like you can every other puzzle in this game which is a huge oversight.

A really fun addition to Detective Kate's library. Have been wanting to play this for a while but my phone's system was too old, glad I remembered my old cell phone! Excited to play more! A few people mentioned bugs, I didn't have any issues with it but I also never really closed the game down as that's all I used this phone for. Or maybe they fixed them. But either way, no issues for me!

Glitchy and bugged. Had to restart the game a few times because it wasnt regestering areas that I should be able to select, like the lab bench or chair. Secondly, I couldn't finish the fight at the end even with restarting, major bug that needs to be fixed. As is I wouldnt recomned spending time on this adventure, i've played others in this series and havent had problems.

Fun puzzle game, not very long but not super short. No ads or anything, which is incredible these days. Overall good experience. I had to use the hints once because I got confused about a clue (which should have been easy but I misread); I didn't notice a problem with the colored discs that I see others being frustrated about. Worth a go if you like this kind of game.

Game is a lot better than it was before. The last puzzle sucks so I skipped it and finally finished the game after all these years. If you leave in the middle of a chapter it doesn't save your game. And there's an issue between levels with a popup; I can't move forward without restarting the app. Not as disappointed playing the second time around although I wish they would redo the game and make it smoother. It's an enjoyable game with many puzzles.

I love these Adventure Escape murder mysteries with Kate the detective. This is my 3rd one! They are fun to solve & keep your brain thinking. I would say that more stars should be left to find in each level. Sometimes there will be one thing on a level that's way too hard to figure out, so you get stuck. Also, you have to keep starting the level over everytime you close the game. I am logged in, so I wish there was an option to save.

I want so badly to give this 5 stars, but the levels don't save unless you complete them. So if i'm 75% through a level and all of a sudden have to turn my attention elsewhere and close the app (which happens frequently), i have to start from the very beginning of the level. So frustrating! Please make them auto-save! Also, pleeeeaaaase make your tutorials optional! Please, please, please. I am a mystery/escape game vet and hate being forced through tutorials, esp where i'm forced to use a hint.

Wouldn't really recommend. The mini games only get annoying because there are no instructions. The collect stars for hints can get frustrating at times only because you need to collect them to be able to get a hint, reveal the hint, and skip. That's a little extra for me. I can see this bring a fun game, it just needs a little improvement in certain areas.

I like to support developers but also it's really nice to have a great game that I don't have to pay for. I also enjoy the fact that there's no waiting from chapter to chapter for something to regenerate. The puzzles are just challenging enough that they're fun but also logical or presented well enough that you don't need to cheat to figure them out. With the exception of one that you needed to read a piece of paper you picked up to solve a puzzle but there was no way I could find to examine it

Earth...Wind...Fire...Water!!!! All the pieces are finally in place! The ground quakes. A secret compartment opens to reveal...wait for it... a screwdriver 😕. Whether you're removing Philip's head screws with a crescent wrench or beating up bad guys with an antler, it's still a lot of good fun with plenty of unique puzzles. Use a stylus if you have fat fingers like me. Relatively easy game overall but easily worthy of 5 stars. Thanks to the developer for these games :)

Legit the best in the business for mystery puzzle solving games!!! I'm addicted to ALL of Detective Kate cases. Some can be really challenging but that's why I play! Thinking outside the box and passing a game is the best. Keep up the good work! I look forward to new releases, curse of Atlantis one was great! The stories are surprisingly original... Love love love all off them!
