I love buying from Advance Auto! The app is great; particularly the garage feature, which lets me store multiple vehicles, for ease of shopping later! The Speedperks Rewards program saves me money on future Advance orders, and Shell gasoline (I've gotten at least 25 cents off per gallon, several times!) The parts are quality replacement parts, that usually have a generous warranty period, just in case. There are great pick-up & delivery options. Advance is by far, my FAVORITE auto parts store!

Update: It turns out that this app isn't compatible with VPNs. I set up a pass through for it and images started loading. Upping to 4 stars, if they fix this to work with VPNs it would get 5. Original: No product pictures ever show up for anything. Anyone who buys parts knows how important it is to see a picture of what you're ordering but they never load, on any of my devices. This makes the app essentially worthless.

Need better way to change stores when your preferred store is out of stock. I had to reselect the items and indicate that I wanted to pick it up at a different location. then I had to go back into my shopping cart and remove the items that were in there that were still pointing to the store that had them out of stock. you're very cumbersome and can be dangerous way of doing this. you could accidentally order more items than you intended. Advanced Auto needs to take a look at the app and fix it.

Absolutely by far the slowest app I have ever used in my life! I can't even describe how slow this app is. Must still be running on dial-up servers. Literally! And you can't use points in store. So I have to spend a whole 8 hour shift just to find parts to buy. Mind blown! It's no different in store either. Their systems inside the store are just as bad. You would think upgrading would be top priority. No sir, not advanced auto. Go check auto zone. Oh their system sucks too? Well ebay it is.

The app worked rather well before the previous update, and now it's useless. No matter the vehicle selected, or if I'm signed in or not, if I search for any part, bundle, tool, or the like the search takes forever and says that 0 results were found. The most recent update has bricked the app and made it a literal waste of space on my phone. Until the issue is resolved use the vastly more reliable website, and avoid the waste of time that is this app.

usually pretty quick no hassle. the app is ok.. a little slow, feels bogged down. the closest store to me is great though. there's always at least one or two team members who are very knowledgeable and helpful available and the generic tools are sturdy and reliable in my experience, as well as being about a third the cost of the big tool brands. loyalty coupon speed perk program is nice too.. but again, sometimes a little inconvenient.. miscellaneous complecations

After previously posting app was slow to load, I noticed other apps also loading slowly. I believe the issue is due to a recent update to Android System WebView although I'm not entirely sure. Once I got home and connected to my WiFi everything seemed to work properly so it could've been an issue with my phone service after all, despite speed tests showing 100 Mbps. Either way, I appreciate the quick response from the developers. Thanks for providing great customer support.

Ugh, this is frustrating! At first I thought this app was great. Easy to create an account, sign up for Speed Perks, find a nearby store, order parts, etc. But one day when I started the app I got a message that says "Ugh, this is frustrating". The only way go get rid of it was to clear the app data on the device. Annoying but whatever. Next day the problem happened again. And the next day and the next. I shouldn't have to do this every day that I want to use the app.

Overall, great app. its easy to use and I like how easily I can see my information. Side note: I do like the ability to combine perk rewards, although I believe you should be able to use all perk rewards towards any single purchase. I did spend money to get those rewards. I think I should be able to use them all on a single transaction if I wish.

Quick access to items I am looking for, for my auto care. The online discounts offered along with Speedperks rewards gives this business an edge when it comes to shopping for quality product lines that are best, better, and good. They have options and variety. Once you load your vehicle info its easy to find what you need, and view what they have that fits your ride, and your budget. The app displays sales, and special offers, but allows you to navigate quickly to what you are searching for.

Lacking. I am disappointed in the search function. When looking for parts, 99% of the items are listed as "May not fit (insert vehicle here)". This should absolutely not be the case. I know there is an "Exact fit" option, but you must select it. Let that be the default option and then we have to unselect that option when the need arises. Everything else is decent about the app. A suggestion would be to have the sought after part transferred to the store of choice as an option as well. Thanks!

overall, it is a good app to check for parts and order. I would like to be able to add more vehicles to my garage, access manuals / diagrams. Also, speed perks have become more difficult to acquire in my opinion. Still, not many bugs on this & mostly accurate on the online inventory of parts (if the app says "in stock" more times than not, it will be at the store)

I love the Speed Perks rewards!!! They have saved me so much money since I signed up and registered in the app. The coupons are very helpful and have saved me a great deal of money as well. The garage feature makes it easy to switch between multiple vehicles. If you service your own cars, you cannot, not save money shopping whit Advance!!

Works, and I like how it shows nice and clear that the part is an exact fit for the car. I didn't enjoy scrolling and scrolling to see the weekly offers, though. I didn't see the offer when I looked up the part, but I had to go to the "deals" page and scroll all the way down. Also, the hours for the store I went to pick up were wrong on the app, but right on google maps. I took a trip in vain because of this.

I can usually find good deals on the parts I need. promo codes work most of the time, but in the fine print usually don't apply to the parts I need. I stand corrected, as an elite member, which I am, I can apply more than 1 speed perk reward/order. I was not aware there was a dash board to control that in the app. This is a much better experience than buying from the "zone".

It works but it doesn't work.... your app and well as your site wouldn't allow me to purchase an Oil Change Combo, when it gets to the "Pick filter" option, it's greyed out completely. I changed the vehicle thinking maybe you just didn't have any, nope, still wouldn't go. Tried 3 different devices, same issue. I became so frustrated that I went to one of your leading competitors and purchased it. Your process is simpler and prices are cheaper - but that doesn't matter if it doesn't work.

App works great for finding parts and items needed. It also works great for Speed Perks; however, the $$ to next Club Level never changes. It always says $200 to VIP no matter how much money I spend there. So since the level never changes, my Perks never change either. This is very frustrating as I have called customer service three times to try and fix but nobody has an answer other than "we don't know why that's happening".

Overall the app is fine, but the search engine is absolute garbage. I FREQUENTLY search things I KNOW Advance has, that won't come up, or I have to reword 7 times to get to the correct result. Many things have to be worded EXACTLY the same or they won't even show up in a search they should. This happened just yesterday with a 3/8 drive 1/2" socket. Obviously Advance has it, but your search engine is not at all intuitive. Major downside, as it ruins the main functionality and entire point of app.

Pretty good, with a few annoyances. Mainly you have to login every single time (and you have to go out of your way to do it), and it doesn't store credit cards or hint to android to use a saved card--so every purchase you have to enter it again. Outside of that it's pretty good--search is painfully slow but that's the same on the website, so I wouldn't fault the app.

As others have stated, the app is very slow; about ten seconds for anything to load. But it's gotten worse than that. Many buttons don't work anymore: edit store, edit payments, etc. Right this minute I'm trying to order two parts for pickup. Both are available at a nearby store but I am unable to change the pickup location of one part at my main store, which doesn't have the other in stock. So if I want to use the app (and use an online discount code) I have to go to both locations.
